[F22-SP] Gardening Part 1 <Nature's Treasure>
Rebekah replied to Rebekah's topic in Intermediate Floors
With the dragon stunned, Rebekah knew that the next attack could be pivotal as she could deal potentially drop the boss to just over a quarter health before it could even strike or hit Rebekah. She knew that was the plan and Rebekah immediately got to work preparing another sword art to strike the dragon. She would have to be careful as the dragon would try to attack her next turn. That was what had worried her but Rebekah knew that she was strong enough to take this dragon down especially with her current stats. Rebekah made sure that she was quite strong and launched her second sword ar -

Rebekah had finally restored all the damage she had made to the soil by digging that hole. It was finally time for Rebekah to leave. She turned to Nemo telling him that she wanted to leave now. "You can leave by only if you return all of your stuff you had collected." Nemo demanded the pink haired girl. Rebekah looked at her inventory, there was no way she was going to return over 100 materials and a gleaming scale. She knew that this was coming and would now have to face Nemo in a battle. Rebekah pulled out her rapier to ensure that she was ready for what was coming next. "I will no -

Rebekah looked at the hole that she had just dug. She had a choice to make, whether to keep digging or to start covering the hole with the soil that she had removed. She decided to continue digging but this time to stop creating a giant pile of soil by pushing the new dirt into the pre-existing hole that she had just dug out. This will save her time later when she needed to restore the garden back to its original state. That was something that her family had always taught her, which was to never destroy the environment and the ecosystem. She wanted to restore the hole back to its previous -

Rebekah watched as the girl ordered a caramel mocha from the NPC player. She then asked about this town. "Well, I do think this is a popular town. It has the ski resort or resort town vibe to it without the downhill skiing of course." Rebekah began to explain. "I suppose it is popular more akin to a tourist destination. I would say the actual number of inhabitants, players and NPCs combined, are a lot less than the towns on floor one if you count the total number that reside on this floor for an extended period of time. That said, similar to the other tourist destinations on floor 22 or 24." -

Rebekah had looked at the gems that Star had found on the beach. "Let's head back to Coral then." Rebekah said. Their mission was done today, as she could now trust Snowball to help out on boss fights. They needed to make their way back from the lake towards the small town of Coral where the nearest teleportation gate could be found. As they headed back, Snowball decided to fly up into the air and scout if there were any animals nearby. There was none, as none of the monsters in the forest would want to mess with this strong party. Rebekah was also looking for any shiny objects or gems th -

Rebekah had finally leveled up on her to rank three on her foraging skill. This was what her goal was today, so it was now time for her to celebrate this massive accomplishment. This was the reason why she had came all this way to the garden. With all of the massive milestone completed, Rebekah thought about her next steps. She had wanted to collect a few more materials and look for a potential treasure chest prior to leaving, so she knew that it would only take another hour or two before she can finally go home and count her rewards. Rebekah looked around and continued to dig deeper at t -

Rebekah finally finished the hard work of helping out in the garden and decided to sit down on a nearby bench to take a break. She had packed some food on her, which was always a nice idea because she never know when she may become hungry while surviving out in the field. Therefore, she began drinking her coffee with an egg salad sandwich. She needed this rest and also needed this extra bit of energy. As Rebekah sat down, she watched Nemo continue working extremely hard on wrapping up the remaining small tasks that was required in Eden's Garden. As Rebekah sat down, she noticed something -

As Rebekah continued to collect strawberries, she knew that it was going to be very important for her to pay attention to the fill line. She had only wanted to collect as much strawberries as they needed and not too much more. That would cause a problem as strawberries would begin to lose their fresh quality the moment they were picked. This is one of the rare times today, Rebekah was not trying to harvest everything but rather just enough to fulfill the demand. She kept pulling more strawberries off the vines, and she could see the box filling up, almost reaching the necessary line for t -

Rebekah was still looking at the pieces of the crumbled sword that had disintegrated the moment that Yuki had touched it. She had not noticed when a swarm of enemies had shown up out of nowhere. Rebekah watched as Nari had stunned all four red cloaksthat had appeared. This gave Rebekah just enough time to take a deep breath to reset before pulling out her rapier. She knew that this will buy the group a significant amount of time before the first four red cloaks would strike the group. She just hoped that they had enough damage to finish all of these monsters off. Rebekah drew out her rapi -

Rebekah looked around and there was no animal nearby. However, Star was still digging in the gravel and sand nearby, so she did not want to leave this location, especially if he was so close to gathering another item in the wild. While waiting for him, Snowball instructively flew in a circle trying to scout for any wild animals that it could attack from above. It did not take long but both of them had spotted a wild boar at the same time. Without saying anything, Rebekah looked at Snowball who was still flying in the air.. Snowball looked back at Rebekah and began to process and think wha -

Rebekah looked at Nemo. They were almost done their work fixing up the garden. She now made her way over to the strawberry field, where it was time to start picking ripe strawberries into small baskets of approximately half a kilogram each. This was not an exact science, but Rebekah knew that strawberries are hanging low off the ground. This had reminded her of her childhood when she used to go to a strawberry farm and pick their own strawberries. It was so much better than buying them from the store, as the family could buy bucketloads of strawberries. Strawberries were in very high dema -

Rebekah had finally planted this entire small field of cabbage. It was now time for her to help remove some of the weeds in the next field full of beets. Rebekah knew from class that weeds were bad for plants as it was taking up some of the resources that would have otherwise gone to the plant. Therefore, she began pulling each and anything that did not resemble the beet leaves with the distinctive red stem. There were not a lot of weeds in this mini field which was nice. However, she knew that she should stay diligent when looking for anything invasive in this garden. Everything must be -

As Rebekah was beginning to instruct Snowball to dive and tackle the beaver, her focus was somewhere else. Star had waded into the shallow water and was heading somewhere. She was confused at what he was doing, but it made a lot more sense when he turned around to show her the gem that he had found in the water. He had seen something in the water. Rebekah now turned her attention back to her owl as he flew up into the air and began circling the beaver before taking a very steep dive towards the beaver. Snowball began to level off at the last minute to avoid hitting the ground, and flew pa -

Rebekah took the first step into the teleportation gate and selected the fourth floor. It was not a chilly day but she could feel the cold breeze the moment she stepped onto the floor. Spending so much time on this floor, Rebekah was used to the weather, but it always took a little bit of time to adjust whenever she spent a lot of time elsewhere. She quickly pressed her interface to activate and wear a jacket. It had appeared instantly on her body and she felt a lot warmer. She turned around and looked for Cleo. She had arrived onto the floor right after her. Without spending anymore time -

Rebekah had not even managed to get through half of her field yet, so she had to keep going. There were a lot of cabbages to plant to keep the soil quality high enough. She knew that the cabbage will take certain nutrients away from the soil but also add other nutrients back in. That was the plan in the garden. Rebekah continued to spend time digging. She knew that digging was not the hard part but rather the repetitive nature of what she was doing. She also began to dig some potatoes in the holes that she was digging up as seeds. Perhaps these potatoes can also be collected as a material -

Now that this entire field is ready to be planted, Rebekah decided it was time to help out. She knew that it was important to set up a crop rotation schedule. Luckily, Nemo had already thought of this out, so it was now time to plant cabbages in the previous kale field. The cabbage seeds will need to be grown approximately 60 cm apart and there should be a space of also another 60 cm between each column. This detailed work was perfect for Rebekah since she can easily measure distances with the user interface of cardinal. Therefore, she got on her knees and began to dig the holes. She knew -

The lake was not too far away from the forest as the lake took up a significant land area on this twenty second floor. As soon as they arrive at the lake, Star was still searching for materials, but he could not find anything at the moment. Snowball must had heard Star's comment as he immediately jumped off of Rebekah's shoulder to try to catch a fish like an eagle watching the salmon runs in the river. Snowball had failed miserably as it was hard to find a big enough fish to swim to the top of the lake, but that did not deter the snowy owl from trying. Of course any fish would able to no -

Since this miniature field had been harvested, Rebekah began to get to work on another field next to it. This time the plants needed some watering. So Rebekah went up to fill up the watering can with water from the lake inside Eden's Garden. Rebekah then walked back towards the plants and began watering, ensuring that she was giving enough water to each kale plant. This was not hard but she decided to also check if the kale is ready to be harvested afterwards. She asked Nemo, "Should I harvest some Kale as well?" Nemo responded to her question, "Yes, there is only a small order of Ka -

Rebekah got back to harvesting. It was evident that the harvesting that she had helped out so far was not enough to fill up the box. It was a huge order that had come in so it would take a while to fill enough of the wheatgrass to reach the necessary weight that was order. Because of this, Rebekah kept diligently harvesting the mircogreens that were grown in the garden. Luckily, the weather was not that bad, and she was able to keep going. Rebekah looked around and saw that Nemo was doing the same thing, but this time he was doing it with bags of broccoli shoots. "Keep up the good work Re -

"I do spend a lot of my time on the fourth floor due to the proximaty of my shop. We can visit the fourth floor." Rebekah asked. "It is a little bit cold at this time of the year." She reminded the girl since the snow never melts year around on the fourth floor. The pair finally made it back into the Tolbana as they navigated the bustling streets full of NPC vendors and players alike. It was way too crowded for her own liking at this time of the day. It did not take them long to finally return to Lyle's shop. As both of them walked in, Lyle was surprisingly not busy at the exact moment, a -

Rebekah finally made her way back to Nemo to help out on the next part of the garden. It was to help harvest the microgreens that have been growing in the garden and putting them into boxes for the produce to be sold. This was something that never got old for Rebekah as a chef. It was the first time she saw how fresh the microgreens such as wheatgrass and broccoli shoots are. All the microgreens she had purchased recently on the fourth floor grocery shop was typically not the freshest, so she wondered if this process would often erode the quality of the greens. Therefore, Rebekah got to w -

Star asked if Rebekah wanted a snack. She agreed and accepted his blueberry muffin. It was not the first time they had ate snacks on their journey. They had ice cream last time. The muffin was freshly baked and Rebekah knew that it would be a waste to eat it later, so she began to eat it. "Thank you for your muffin." Rebekah said. Just as she was eating, Rebekah instructed her owl to turn around and try again to hit the racoon with the same move called Take Down. Snowball did as he was told, and immediately found some space to turn around completely before charging back towards the racoon -

With all the bears stunned, Rebekah knew that this was her chance. Since the bears were stunned, it was unable to make any noise to attract any more monsters to show up in this battle. This had suited her as she knew her own energy levels were running low once again. This would be able to provide a necessary break for Rebekah. She knew that it was going to be very important for her to keep her energy up in this battle. As a result, Rebekah wanted to get this over as soon as possible so she can began to recover once again. Without putting much more additional thought into the situation she -

With the single bear defeated. The four bears which had watched the tail end of that fight began walking around her. Rebekah knew that if she wanted to leave this forest, she would have to break this encirclement from the four bears. This was not going to go well. Rebekah knew that these bears are dangerous but so far they had barely done any damage against her all day. While that was good, she knew that anytime four monsters would corner her in the wild, it would never be a good idea. Therefore, the only reasonable decision that she will make is to fight her way out. All she hoped for no -

With Rebekah paying very close attention to her owl, she was unaware there was an a random log nearby. Rebekah will have to wait until after her owl was trained to think about collection. "It is the first time I seen it on this floor myself, and I have been here quite a lot recently." Rebekah commented. "Do you think you will find more? We can move to a new location once this racoon is killed. The racoon is not strong enough to survive one hit from my owl." It was now time for Snowball to try again. Rebekah could see that the raccoon had not wondered too far away, and was still in the cle
