[F6-SP] Dreaming under the Waterfall <Calming the Soul>
Rebekah replied to Rebekah's topic in Beginner Floors
"What are you waiting for?" The Entity said. "Defeat it and move on to the final door." It had reminded her that she was not back in the real world, but stuck in Aincrad. "You are wrong, dear father." Rebekah said. "You were never family to me. All those years, I watch you abuse my brothers. Calling them weak and pathetic." She Continued. "ENOUGH! Little girl. It is your turn now. No more hiding behind your brothers to protect you." Her father said as he aggressively walked towards her. Rebekah was not going to take the emotional abuse anymore. In addition, she did not want to f -

She was not expecting this to be the third demon. In fact, she would have bet this was the final boss that she would have faced. "Hello father." Rebekah said. "What are you doing here?" It was a rhetorical question. She already knew the answer. "Long time no see Rebekah." The father responded. "Where are your manners, little girl. We need to have a little chat." Her father said in a dark tone. She had been dreading this, ever since her parents broke apart, and she left with her brothers and mother away from them. While she was never been physically abuse, she saw the physical ab -

They needed to find the Traveling Gypsy. Luckily, she so happened to be outside The Frosty Cafe. Rebekah immediately ran outside and walked up to the lady in a dark dress on this cold floor. "Hello. I am looking for some familiar food to help me tame a familiar." She asked the Gypsy. The Gypsey hesitated for a second and gave her the item that she needed. "Here you go young adventure. Remember to find me and return the food once you catch a familiar." Rebekah received the food in her inventory and then turned around to find Star listening on their conversation. "Let's head towar -

"Why did it say so many nasty things about me?" She cried. She needed to let it all out now, so she could reset and move on. "None of it is true. None of this is real." She told herself. Nobody was around to eavesdrop on the private conversation. Rebekah slowly let all her tears fall out. She knew she needed to continue. She cannot spend the rest of her life waiting here. "Are you feeling better?" The entity asked. "Why do you care? You are making me face my anxieties, my darkest secrets and regrets." Rebekah rebuked. "No, I am just a neutral observer, guiding you through this p -

Rebekah wanted to cry. This quest was supposed to be easy. That was what she was told, a simple day of mediating under a waterfall. She was angry and upset at the same time. Rebekah needed to block out all noise from around her. She needed to try again. You can do it, she told herself. "You have nothing to say?" The Demon continued. "I never expected much from you. I always thought you were weak. I do not know how you were one of the top players in Aincrad a long time ago." Focus. She closed her eyes. She needed to reset herself mentally. "I will not let you slander me with your lies -

Rebekah was furious. It had tried to imply that she was that type of girl. She was not. She told herself, 'Control your emotions.' She needed to be calm enough so she could be accurate with her attack. Rebekah was going to have to defeat her friend from spewing out any more garbage about her personality. She was determined to kill this thing. As she sprinted towards the friend, it began morphing into several of her former friends. She remembered. This is not her friend. They died. This is a demon. "You are not my friend, you are just a demon praying on my insecurities." Rebekah yelled. -

"Remember me, Rebekah?" A voice said in room number 2. There it was. It was one of her closest friends in the castle from seven years ago. "Weren't you killed? I remember seeing your name disappear from my friend's list one day. I eventually visited the Memorial on the first floor. Your name was on there." Rebekah said. She could not believe this was real. Deep down she knew she has not seen him in a very long time. Rebekah was still doing the meditation quest with The Entity. "I am in my mind, I am in my mind..." Rebekah repeated to herself. "You abandoned me Rebekah. We were s -

Rebekah was getting annoyed by the taunting by the Demon. At first, she was trying to do her best to not let her emotions get the best of her. However, as it had kept talking, she was starting to lose her mind. In response, Rebekah took out her rapier, and prepared to launch an attack at the demon guarding the door in front of her. "Have you forgotten your manners?" The Demon teased. "Always and Forever, Rebekah! Do not forget that. Family always comes first. I was almost killed since you were unable to find me fighting bears in the quest, the first lessons." The Demon was trying to play -

"So I can finally see you have arrived, Rebekah." said a familiar voice. She has not heard this voice in years. It was her long lost brother, or more precisely her brother that was going to play with her in this game. It had haunted her for years, struggling around Aincrad looking to see if he had joined the game as she did. "You were selfish and left me behind. We were suppose to put on our Nevergear together." the sound continued. "Over the last seven years, I watched you grow as a person. I watched you get stronger, looking all of Aincrad, to join the frontlines. Then you took a b -
Rebekah wanted to take this opportunity to take a break and to read the notifications that she had received after defeating the first two monsters for today. However, that will have to wait. In front of Rebekah were several bears that had just arrived as reinforcements. "It looks like I am not alone today." Rebekah said. She had two options, either wait for the bears to group up and attack her, or she should take the initiative and attack them before they get prepared. This was not a difficult decision for her to make. The girl knew that in order to survive, she would have to get out

"Welcome Rebekah." The Entity spoke. Rebekah looked around, and she was surprised to see that there was a mysterious voice speaking to her. She tried to open her eyes, but nothing happened. It was pitch darkness. "Where am I? Let me out." Rebekah cried. The voice continued, "I am here to guide you on your spiritual journey today. In front of me, there is a series of four doors. Four different obstacles that you will have to navigate through. Once you succeed, you will be on your way out of here." The darkness slowly faded, and in its place was a giant white canvas. She could see -
Rebekah had heard about a wonderful relaxing waterfall on the sixth floor of Aincrad. She was determined to visit it as she had heard stories about players who have visited the sacred fall to learn to meditate, having a new outlook on life. It was for that reason that Rebekah had wanted to visit the waterfall for a very long time. She had gotten her gear ready, and decided to make the full trek out from Krycim. As she made her way through the dense jungle and harsh terrain, she finally arrived at The Waterfall of the Sage. She takes a look around and sees that she is the only person. She

Her body continued to ache in pain from the two bear attacks that have landed against her nimble frame. Rebekah was seriously considering putting on some additional armour to be safe. She could see the shape of round eyes watching her from the shadows of the forest. Rebekah was almost certain there was at least another bear in the vicinity, ready to pounce and attack her when the moment arises. She knew that her chances of survival would depend on this single move. It was a lot of pressure to be facing especially when she is already feeling the effects of the two strikes that had landed.
-
It was time for Rebekah to be on the defensive. She knows that all she needs to do is to dodge the bear's attack with its giant and sharp claws. It would then be on her to end the battle with a clean attack from her rapier. That would finish the battle. She would like to get this over with as soon as possible before additional bears come for reinforcements and corner her. She had heard the bear roar in the forest and it would not be long until multiple bears show up to help their fallen friend. This was it, Rebekah only had one bear to contend with, so she should be able to pour all of he

Now it was time for Rebekah to extract her revenge on the bear. She had taken a laid back approach to the battle so far. But it was time to get serious. Everything was fine until she began losing health from the bears. But first, Rebekah needed to erase the memories of her last attempt at an area of effect attack. That had been a disaster. She knew what she had done wrong last time, so this time she concentrated on not making the exact same mistake. As Rebekah visualized her steps again in her mind, she knew the exact steps she would take to activate the sword art cleanly this time. Openi

Gaius. She would have to remember that name. After all, if she is planning on joining the assault division of the guild, that was who she would have to report to. Rebekah was recalling if she have ever met a Gaius before. His name did not sound familiar. She was definitely planning on reporting to him shortly, after she gets settled in the guild. She does have a few questions on equipment. One step at a time, she told herself. She was trying to retain all the information she was being thrown her way. It would take sometime before she would be able to process everything that she was told. -
As Rebekah got ready for the worse scenario which she wanted to avoid. She would have to see if she can skillfully dodge both of the bear's attack at the same time. She had one chance to dodge both attacks skillfully. She looked at both bears trying to judge which one she should focus on first. At the end of the day, she knew she needed to dodge the first attack to have any hope of dodging both successfully. As she glazed into the bear's eyes, she was trying to get a read on this battle, or gain any type of insight. Rebekah continued to hold this stance until a bear finally made a move. S

It was now time for Rebekah to counter. She knew she would be able to hopefully defeat the first bear to make the situation a lot more manageable. After all, it was playing with fire if she had to defend attacks from multiple bears attacking her at the same time. Therefore, the only way to counter this is to ensure as many monsters were defeated as quickly as possible. She made her move, hoping that everything is a lot smoother since she had cleaned up her footwork since her original experience last month. Rebekah is hoping the bears are able to drop rare shards or scales that she can the

"I agree with your idea. I will help you when it is you decide it is time to look for a familiar." Rebekah said. "Let's wait in line as well." Rebekah lead him to the back of the long line-up for the cafe. She knew that the cafe had just opened, but the line would be moving fast. As they waited in line, she continued, "I do think this is the perfect place to sell ice cream. You can take your time to finish the ice cream without trying to finish it before it completely melts. Normally, I would sit down indoors but there is too many people inside." Rebekah estimates it will take over an hou -
She wanted to curse. It was not the first time she had missed a perfect opportunity for a stun on a monster. Rebekah knew that she had missed a golden opportunity in this battle. Now, she will have to deal with a discontent bear that is ready to attack her with its giant furry paws and mouth. Rebekah wanted no part of the bear that was trying to swipe at her. She knew there was a chance she could potentially evade this attack completely, but that will need to depend on her movement of her feet. She had been training hard since her return to battle, and she knew that the only way to s

She took a look at the meal that Freya had made them. As she lifted her knife and began to cut the meat, it was like cutting butter. That was her telltale sign of very tender piece of red meat. It tasted delicious as it looked, which was expected from one of the top chefs in the guild. Rebekah managed to say good bye to Freya before she left. She needed to meet her one day, as she would like to improve her cooking skills from one of the top chefs. Rebekah was also very grateful for Eruda being here. She was not sure how the atmosphere would have been if she was still talking with Freyd. S -
As Rebekah made her way into the Forest of Memories, she knew that she wanted to head towards the lake, and visit the Lake of Reflection. However, in order to get there, Rebekah would need to walk through the forest situated between the town and the lake. Rebekah could sense trouble was brewing, as she noticed several giant bears had been watching her this entire time, looking at every step of hers. Rebekah wanted to control the situation before it got out of control, especially before any other bears would come over and join this battle. That would be completely dangerous. Without waitin

Rebekah made her way on to the twenty second floor of Aincrad via the teleportation gate. As she took a step in the small settlement of Coral, she knew today would be an awesome day. She had came this way to help look for rare materials such as shards or scales. It was also a perfect excuse for her to visit the Lake of Reflection for the first time. She had not previously visited this floor before, but she has heard good things about the natural wonder and beauty of the lake and the surrounding forest that straddled the coastline for areas. As she made her way around the floor of Coral, s

As Eruda lead the group away from the remains of the Monkey King, they headed towards the teleportation gate. She was lead towards the guild hall, a grand Cathedral. It was the first time that she had visited this unique and creepy building. Inside, Rebekah noticed a strange odor when entering the building, but she thought it was normal. It had been a long time since she had visited a guild building. It was the type of smell she had not whiffed in a long time. It was the smell of a busy guild full of distinct individuals perfecting their crafts. Before she could walk any further, a blond -

Rebekah did not wait long until Star had approached her in his black jacket and toque. She responded to his greeting, "You are not wrong. I do enjoy tanning on the beach. But I am trying to keep myself away from floor 24, I can stay there for weeks without doing anything." Rebekah had just recently returned from an extend trip from floor 24 during her retirement. "The beach is fine but I cannot stand the heat in the desert." she added. "I will explain what we are doing today. We are going to look for a beast tamer who can provide us with some food to help catch an animal." Rebekah has not
