A single bear was all that was standing in her way from finishing this quest and going into town and ending her day. Rebekah knew that this was going to be a difficult situation. If the bear could stall for long enough, then this means she may miss her afternoon meeting. She had plans to do something this afternoon and the last thing she wanted to happen is to be held up by a bear who was strong at evading her attacks. Rebekah hoped Snowball can provide another distraction once again by flying around it aggressively, so the bear can lose its complete focus on Rebekah. That was the plan, b

With the four bears successfully stunned, Rebekah now had an opportunity to defeat the bears and head into the safety of the town to report her successful conquest of the giant serpent that had terrorized Rig. She knew that this was an important move, since she could finally end the battle with this single move. There was only one thing that she had to look out for. This was complacency given that the bears had already been stunned and cannot move. This should be an easy attack for Rebekah but she needed to pay attention to ensure that she does not get into any trouble here. Therefore, Re

Rebekah wanted to curse one again. Standing near the entrance to the town in front of her were 4 bears that were in the forest near the entrance of the city of Nimbus. She knew that there was no other way to handle this except to fight for her way to get into the city. This was the only option Rebekah had. She did not want to waste her time trying to go around the bears, and hoping she made it in safely. Besides, she had also felt an obligation to clear the roadblock for another person who wanted to trek up this path especially since they may not be as strong as her to face four adult bea

Rebekah continued to walk down the mountain on this path. Now that they were a lot lower in altitude, she could see a lot more vegetation in the surrounding environment. She had missed this part while on this floor. The high elevation was very boring to look at. There was only exposed rock in the traditional rock colour. Inside the tree line, everything is a lot prettier, with nature being ever so present and entire ecosystems of animals. There was a downside now, as there were more animals Rebekah had to look out for. It was not just the few animals who can survive in the harsh terrain b

As both Snowball and Rebekah continued to walk down the mountain. It was finally time that they can finally enjoy the scenery of the mountain. It was stunning. It had been a while since she was last able to see something like this. She must have not looked down on their way to the city of Rig. I think it has to do with how it was a never a good idea to look down if you were nervous about heights. It was different on the way down as Rebekah began descending. It also forced her to look at this direction to get down from the mountain. Snowball was now not flying very far overhead, so Rebekah

As Rebekah sat down, it was finally time for her to take out a snack and re-energize. Snowball had stopped flying and sat down next to her on a nearby rock as well. Rebekah had packed a sandwich and some green tea for today's excursion. She was surprised that she was not suffering from high altitude sickness. The only remedy for that was to descend the mountain immediately. However, she was feeling a little bit of a shortness of breath due to the lack of air this high up on the mountain. Therefore, she was not surprised she needed this break from fighting. The good news is that she now on

With only a single goat remaining, Rebekah could finally breath a sigh of relief. She knew that even one goat is dangerous but it was not as bad as facing four at once. She could finally afford to relax a slightly bit, just enough so that she was not very tense. As she thought about her next course of action, she knew that she needed to get back to town to report on the slain serpent. This meant that the goat must be killed so she can leave. As she walked around, she thought about all the time that she had killed monsters. She was not a killer but this was a life and death situation. It h

Rebekah had immediately gotten back to cooking. She had an order of meals that she wanted to fulfill today. After taking a good stock, she knew that she needed to get started right away. She began by cleaning up her work station since it was still a mess. That was the key to becoming a good cook, you need to be organized. It helps a lot when the place around her is a lot cleaner and she can find everything in an instant. The last thing she wanted to do was to burn food accidentally because she was looking around for a missing ingredient. Date: 04-03-2022 Rank 7: 1,036/1279 (+53) EXP C

Since the majority of the goats were still stunned on this narrow path, Rebekah knew that she wanted to take this opportunity to defeat three of the four goats on this upcoming turn. This would allow her enough time to rest and recover and make sure that the there will be more room to maneuver around. There was only one problem. The single goat that was not stunned was making it difficult for her as it stood in between her and the other three stunned goats. Rebekah would need a way to distract its attention. She had the perfect idea. Snowball, her owl would do the trick. Snowball was inte

It had been a few days since Rebekah last made some desserts. In the last few days, she has finally updated her inventory and was now running out of essential items. it was now time for her to begin baking once again to refill her low inventory levels. However, she knew that there was a constraint due to the lack of ovens and the baking time in the oven which cannot be modified. Someone has once told her baking is a science, there are exact measurements required while there are a lot more room for slight modifications while cooking as she waited for the oven to preheat. [F1-PP] A Fishy Situation <Earning a Living: Fisher>
Rebekah replied to Nicklaus's topic in Beginner Floors
As he exited the shop, Rebekah knew that there was somewhere they could go. "Do you want to visit floor 4? There is an amazing cafe called The Frosty Cafe. We can sit down and continue to catch up. I do not know where you are staying but perhaps you can finally visit some of the other floors using the teleportation gate." Rebekah said. She waited for her brother to agree, then began leading him back into the town of new beginnings to find the teleportation gate at the city centre. There, they could then teleport to the floor that both Snowball and Rebekah had called home. Snowball decided -

"Yes, you are correct. I am currently a member of Firm Animia, one of the top guilds in the game." Rebekah responded. "I joined the guild due to the benefits of being in a guild. Currently, I collect crafting experience a little bit faster and I get a small bonus upon killing monsters and opening treasure chests." Rebekah explained. "I was looking for a guild one day, and I receive an invitation from one of the leaders. I was previously part of another top guild in Aincrad many years ago, and since the guild disbanded, I took a break. After returning from the break, I was invited to join -

Rebekah replied to Nicklaus's topic in Beginner Floors
That was a tough question. Rebekah had a lot of memorable experiences in Aincrad so far. It was hard to narrow it down to just one thing. "That's a very good question. I am having trouble trying to pick something that I enjoyed the most." Rebekah asked. "Perhaps, it was the time when I fought a boss on floor 4 called Frosty. It was the first time I ever got a reward from a big fight and I ended up winning a shield that has an unique ability. I think that was one of my most memorable time inside this game." Rebekah continued. She activated the shield for Nicklaus to see as she always carri -

Nicklaus was lucky to be sitting this entire time. After taking a short break, Rebekah got back to work. She knew she was looking for more materials, and this would be the perfect time to continue searching. She knew that she was also very close to finding this demonic shard via foraging. So, she knew she needed to try even harder. But so far, she has not found a single one and was beginning to doubt herself. She looked up trying to see what Nicklaus was doing. This time, she knew Nicklaus still has not given up yet, so she should continue trying. He was a good role model sometimes, espec -

Rebekah was asked a question, so she needed to think about it before providing the detailed answer. There were really only two answers. She think it would be too much of a hassle to move, and just because a rare scale does not show up does not make today a failure. This was a lucky spot which was evident since they had collected 13 materials between the siblings. "I think you should stay. You were so close twice in a row. I know you will almost get it this time." Rebekah responded. It was not much of an encouragement but it was better than not saying anything at all. After all, this was a -

Rebekah replied to Nicklaus's topic in Beginner Floors
Nicklaus had tried her owl's suggestion but nothing was working so far for him either. Since he has still not collected that scale, Rebekah will continue to search for more materials. After all, this last week she has been using up materials a lot faster than normal. In order to ensure she has enough supply for next week, she knew that anything she can find here would be very helpful. Rebekah thought about the idea that it may be time to return to the garden, but first she needed to strengthen herself. There was a target that she wanted to achieve but so far she was nowhere near that goal -

Rebekah continued to search for materials, and it was at this time that Snowball had came back from flying around in the air and landed on her shoulder. It had seemed like Snowball had wanted to tell Rebekah something as it tried to hoot in owl. Rebekah had spent enough time around Snowball to somewhat understand what her owl was trying to say. It had took her a few seconds but she had finally solved the riddle. She turned to Nicklaus and said, "Have you tried pulling the fishing line up, and refilling the bless bait? Sometimes, you just ran out and did not notice." Snowball was an owl so -

Rebekah got to work making more desserts today. To begin she needed more butter tarts in her inventory, so she began by melting the butter in a pot. She also needed enough flour to make a dough. So she began by sifting through the flower and adding eggs, sugar, salt and began whisking to make sure the tart has the right consistency before she began baking them in the oven. She needed to ensure the tart was just right and not too hard or dry as that could have a negative effect on her pastries that she was preparing today. [F1-PP] A Fishy Situation <Earning a Living: Fisher>
Rebekah replied to Nicklaus's topic in Beginner Floors
Rebekah had thought about what her older brother had said so far. She believed that he was not the best person suited for fishing. "To be honest with you, you were the last person who I thought would ever go fishing. However, I know that you are also a merchant, which goes well with fishing. On top of that, I am a forager. I think it is good having a mix since we can always help each other out with shards and scales." Rebekah responded. Always and forever. That was their family motto. She had tried so hard to keep it like that for the longest time, and besides there was nobody else she co -
Disaster had struck the moment Rebekah had just left the town of Rig. She wondered if there was still a safety zone inside. But regardless, the moment she had stepped on to the trail. Four strong and sturdy mountain goats with a giant horn were blocking her path. Rebekah could see they would not budge, so Rebekah would have to carefully navigate a combat situation facing them up here on the mountain. Rebekah knew that this was dangerous given the tiny bit of room she had to fight these goats in. The path was barely narrow enough to have a fight, but that was not going to stop her. She nee

Now that the giant serpent was killed, Rebekah finally got a chance to survey the damage in town. She had sent Snowball to help look for any survivors or that were trapped around here. Even though they may be NPCs, Rebekah still felt an obligation to help out. After all, she knew that maybe one day, an NPC would be willing to help her. As she walked through the rubble, she can see that entire building, businesses, homes, hotels and restaurants were destroyed. She had never visited Rig before and wondered if the town would ever be able to recover from such a disaster that had occurred up h

Rebekah had finishing showing Nicklaus her silver coin that she had collected so far. Since he had asked her a question, she decided she should look in her inventory. So, Rebekah quickly pressed a few buttons on her user interface, and she had determined that she had collected five materials so far. This was an amazing result considering she was not in nature's garden where she had visited last week. It was now that she had responded to her older brother. "I have collected five so far. How is your fishing coming along? I believe you are looking for a scale right?" Rebekah asked. She knew
