I looked up at him in awe, then ran over and hugged his leg. Thank you so much, mister! I didn't think I'd make it that time! I cried tears of joy, happy to be alive still. I'm not ready to die! Not quite yet! A breeze blew threw Starglade, making my silver hair shine against the moonlight whilst swaying in the wind.

I looked up at the person who had willingly placed himself between the foxes and me with astonishment. O-okay. Th-thank you. My pink eyes were filled with gratitude towards him for his selfless act. I turned my gaze back to the foxes just in time to see one rush at us.

Sprinting through the trees, I burst into my favorite place on the 4th floor. Starglade. It's a pretty secluded glade that only I knew about, so I'd made it my home. I whipped around to face the pack of Artic Foxes. What am I going to do?! I pulled out my throwing daggers, prepared to fight to defend my home. D-don't come any closer! I'm w-warning you! I cried out, terror making my voice waver.

I followed Ryu over, yet another, sand dune when Cleo thought-spoke to me. We're here. Finally! Gazing into the darkness, I started searching for an inn immediately, certain that Ryu was doing the same.

This is like watching a movie! Wait, what's a movie? A moving picture. Oh. Cool. Yep. Now, no more thought-speaking! I wanna watch this play out. okay.

Shaking my head at Zero's stupidity, I laughed. Seems like this battle will be over very quickly. Is he letting her win? I don't think so. He just sucks, apparently. Ha.

I reequipped the coat that I'd put away only two hours earlier when we'd entered the 5th floor. We've been trudging around for hours! Cleo? Isn't there a nearby town or something? Yes. It's a few minutes north of here. Okay. So, not too much farther. Great! Glancing up at Ryu, I inquired, What are you thinking about?

My face turned as red as my hair at that moment, I swear. I didn't even have to think to know my answer. Hai. Yes, Ryu-kun. Yes, yes, yes! I threw my arms around him, then stood tip-toed and kissed Ryu. NOT a kiss on the cheek, people!

I tilted my head to the side, in a questioning gesture. Yes? What is it?

Ryu.... I opened my menu and pulled out a green crystal; I stood up, rushed to his side, and held out the crystal. Heal! The crystal shattered in my hand.

I stared at where the boss had just been and sunk to my knees, exhausted and relived. It's over. Finally. We can leave the 4th floor. It's a miracle.

I ran over to Ryu and stood in front of him. I won't forgive you if you die on me. So don't even think about it. The dragon slashed at me with it's claws, slicing my cheek, but I refused to let it get to Ryu. Not today. Health: 15/17. Boss Health: 1/15.

Before I could move, the dragon turned it's head and spewed water at me, throwing me back a few feet. Shoot! What is with this thing?! Why doesn't it just die already?! Health: 16/17. Boss Health: 1/15.

Ryu! I shrieked. I turned to the monster, quickly pulling out my ax and throwing it smack-dab in the middle of the dragon's forehead. It roared in anger, then tripped over it's own two left feet, crashing to the ground. Health: 17/17. Boss Health: 2/15.

I looked up to Dante nosing my arm to get my attention. He has a heal crystal! Use it! He dropped it onto my outstretched palm and ran back to Ryu's aid. Heal. Instantly feeling better, I jumped up and ran back towards the battle. I leaped over the beast, slicing it's back as I flew through the air. Landing on the other side, I whipped around in time to see the dragon stagger back from Cleo, who stood next to Ryu. Health: 17/17. Boss Health: 4/15.

I tried getting close enough to attack the dragon, but was hit by it's tail again. Hitting the wall with a dull thud, I slumped to the floor, disoriented. Health: 9/17. Boss Health: 5/15.

I ran past Ryu with a nod of thanks. Cleo! Cleo appeared at my side almost instantaneously. Here! Go for it's other eye this time. On it. I distracted the beast and kept it occupied, waiting for Cleo. Now! I rushed in on my side whilst she simultaneously did the same on her side. Her attack landed first, wounding the dragon's only unharmed eye. My own attack was timed for after the beast reared back. Stabbing it in it's soft stomach, I ran with my sword still embedded in it's hide. Reaching the other side, I raced towards the shadows again. I stopped next to Cleo and turned back a

Charging at the boss, I held my sword up to strike- And ran right past it. I inwardly groaned. Shoooooot. I do not want to die on the 4th! Health: 11/17. Boss Health: 8/15.

I rushed the dragon whilst it was distracted, but I wasn't quiet enough. When I was a few feet away from the blue beast, it turned on me and lashed out with it's claws. I backed away holding my arm. At this rate, we'll just die in here! Health: 13/17. Boss Health: 10/15.

I leaped up, running across the room towards the beast and dug my sword in it's gleaming blue hide. Cleo ran up behind me and scratched at it's right eye, then ran back into the shadows. Whilst it was distracted by it's eye, I took my sword out of it and ran over to Cleo. Thanks. She flexed her claws. It's what I'm here for. Health: 16/17. Boss Health: 12/15.

With that over, I was quickly struck by the beast. The dragon raced across the room in the time it took my eyes to widen and reached it's head over, violently grabbing me by the shoulder in it's gleaming white teeth and flung me across the room. I hit the wall with a grunt of pain. Darn it! We just started and I'm already hit that hard? Jeez! Health:15/17.
