[F21-PP-PT] My Little Lightning Bolt (Betrayal of the King)
Griswold replied to Nisahime's topic in Intermediate Floors
Standard Recovery +4 EN, Hyperactive +3 EN, Hyperactive Duration 2/3, Battle Healing +37 HP, Charge CD {2/3}, Shield Bash Refreshed A heavy grunt as Griswold would release his mallet and grab a hand that began to rip toward his own. The king knew he couldn't reach his weapon so it was looking for any option. A plated glove squeezes down upon its wrist, turning it and using his inner thigh as a point of leverage. "He's getting willy. I don't know how much longer I can keep him down." he'd look to Simmone as if begging her to finish him. They needed to think quickly, as the boss was startin -

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Hyperactive +3 EN, Hyperactive Duration 1/3, Battle Healing +37 HP, Charge Refreshed Again the creature would swell and try to wrestle the smith from its chest. The sheer power it was capable of pumping out was nearly unnatural, despite its compromised position. It took quite the demand from Griswold to keep it down and beneath his rather large foot. Another wind back and a good clubbing would batter the skeletal king back down as it start to rise again, Shield, Malus, Shield. Just a constant throw of hands that would concuss the thing quite readily, like driving -

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Battle Healing +37 HP, Charge CD {2/3}, Shield Bash Refreshed The smith would stand tall, keeping his massive foot as a form of pressure upon the beasts body. It was struggling quite earnestly despite all the blows it had sustained. If Griswold could offer it something, the damn thing was very durable. The attacks from before felt like punching a concrete wall, even to go a step farther. The impacts didn't seem to phase it much, sure it moved but not by much. Which painted it painfully clear that they needed to keep on top of the matter, no pun intended. Another s -

The heavier man would muster toward the downed cretin, holding any fear he may have dormant beneath an old and tired bravery. A heavy foot would see itself placed upon the king, moments before the thing would find the ground to stand upon. "Don't get up." The smith would offer in a gruff voice, pushing hard with a plated foot that actually sees trouble pushing the boss back down. Boney hands clamber to the leg, upon that foot and try to push back. Griswold responds in a brutal display of a one two, nailing it first with his hammer and following through with his shield for good measure. Concuss -

The colossal titan that was the fist of anvil seems to wander in behind the woman, having already discussed the oddity that was this woman at this location. The intention was to aid her and discover what she was after this time, but the first part was mainly his focus. Seeing the woman seemingly catch and disperse the lightning from the boss on repeat was a little jarring, recalling the fight Raidou had fought and how much trouble he had endured. Here in contrast this woman wasn't even appearing to break a sweat, not even blocking the blows. It was ominous. Twirling the hammer in his grip he'd -

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Hyperactive +3 EN, Charge CD {2/3} The hurried blows as creatures begin to escape the walls, their quarry found but with it a multitude of forces that were not happy to see them. "Lets finish this quickly." The smith offers the agreed acknowledgement of their current circumstances becoming much more dire. A twirl of his weapon back into his hand, finding the newly formed opposition in the creature that Celeste and Raidou had just struck. The things HP continued to tick away, as it violently seized. The smith saw his opportunity, and closed the distance. Raising th -

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Hyperactive +3 EN A turn of that massive frame as he heaves the chain back to recall the mallet attached to its end. The thing rakes across the water and skips back into an awaiting palm, the smith turning to catch it with a solid thud. As soon as it becomes stationary the man would wind back with that arm and raise the thing up with a quick rip. Releasing the weapon will see it extend out to about 10 ft above him, being carried by the velocity. Clutching the chain he heaves it down with another hefty drop of the hammer, seeing it come down with extreme fervor. It -

*Optimal Turn Order Change Standard Recovery +4 EN A whirling bit of chain with a small hammer on its end ignites in a dim orange glow. Turning his wrist in a small clockwise rotation, the chain is released and allows the thing to sweep out in a wide birth. One after another it connects with each faint spectre in succession, carrying them with it as the smith turns and hoists the chain with his upper body. Foes carried into one another, they pile up and follow that length before he pulls back and allows them to tumble. Skipping along the waters surface, they bounce a couple of times -

Standard Recovery +4 EN Waltzing across the field seeking out the creature that Simmone had spotted, his eyes fall upon the small 6 inch tall crabs. A pathetic example of a foe, the smith tilts his head off to the left. "I was expecting a bit...more." He'd offer the woman before clubbing them like moles popping out of a carnival game. The others scatter and flee, trying to avoid direct punishment. The reasoning is either out of fear or to build time and allow them the chance to grow. The smith's leg span was far larger, so tiny feet skitter allowing them to make only a few feet. A single -

Standard Recovery +4 EN Pulling back as hard as he can the beast's legs would break off as the chain comes more freely toward his chest. The man was strong but apparently stronger then he looked. With the added force of Celeste offering her own physique to the mix they were more then potent enough to rip half of it off. Counting his blessings that the chain was of a much stronger material then most, he'd coil it up around his right wrist in a wrapping motion. The creature wobbles limply with two of its legs missing as it struggles to keep upright, slamming into a nearby tree before langui -

Blows go out and rock that giant crap in such a way the damn thing flounders off to one side. Despite her early confusion the red head had absolutely no pause in storming into the fray, a fact that Griswold could respect. Not the thinking type, more a person of action over mixed words. He lacked their speed but could match the girls power. A slam of his hammer as he'd release it, the sheer potency of the blow sees it continue to fly with the chain extending. The man would clasp it, and slink the chain around two legs and pull it tout. The goal? To lock it down with now a good portion of its mo -

The heavy steps into the sand would convey the large statue of a man clad in cobalt plate mail. A weighty titan that sunk in due to his sheer mass. He'd done this a few times so far but nearly to the same degree as the others clearly had. "Best not think too hard about it." The smith would offer Celeste as he'd walk by, tapping her on the right shoulder with a gloved hand. He'd played this rodeo before, and he most certainly wasn't the studying type. However he was wise enough to know that there was some information he did not know. Like many of the games mechanics when he first joined. Throug -
[F24-PP-PT] The scent of man (In too Deep)
Griswold replied to Nisahime's topic in Intermediate Floors
Standard Recovery +4 EN, Battle Healing +36 HP Bashing his hammer against his shield, moving forward, pulling his defender up protecting himself from those furious swings. Pulling the weapon up and smashing against a plated piece that lays on Ugzeke's thigh. That part comes flinging off like a bullet behind Griswold mere inches from his head. Clashing to the ground, the brute of a man stands his ground. The more around the creature, the less chance he would have to hit the other team members of Firm Anima. This would be over soon, watching Ugzeke fall to a knee but the swinging never stop -

Combat Ended Temporarily, Trolls Blood Reset (Gaius), Rhino Horn Reset (Celeste) Standard Recovery +4 EN, Battle Healing +36 HP, Relaxed (1/2) Moved to Floor 23 -> [Ugzeke] Shaking his head for a minute, ears ringing, couldn’t even hear himself think. Raidou comes walking up to him showing him a note -Floor 23 Ukzeke-. Griswold simply nods and starts heading back to the warp gate. Raidou walks to everyone seeing as they still couldn’t hear anything and a message would not be heard unless they were paying attention, so he decided to go old fashioned. Seeing Firm Anima walking beh -

Standard Recovery +4 EN One of the boulders that Griswold was lifting shifts, he manages to scoot back enough to see them grow into something entirely different. They almost towered him in height, but that wasn’t going to stop him. Bashing his hammer against his shield with a hardy laugh as orange flames ignite against his metallic forge. Hammering down against the creature causing it to crumble and reform. Turning, he throws his weapon toward another, upon impact it breaks into pieces. Griswold runs, gripping his forge and smacking hard against the other one that was standing near him. T -

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Relaxed [1/2] Vision washes over the dried tan ground. There was nothing to find, glancing at the others, they couldn’t seem to find anything either. Griswold could feel his strength start to repair itself. Eyes find Nisa’s who was crossing her arms, assumingly waiting like everyone else. Clearing his throat as he walks over to one of the larger rocks, lifting it up, finding nothing up it. Letting it go as it drops to the ground creating a puff of dust to lift around it. Griswold was hating the silence but he was unsure what could be said or done about that. Looki -

Seeing the faint petals of the young girl, she was quick to act the moment the creature appeared. It was throwing its arms at nothing, impressive. Pulling his hammer up to his side as he charges in, shield in front of him as his weapon begins to glow bright orange. A glance is had from the crab toward the huge man before getting bashed in the face. It goes flying toward one of the many boulders laying around, causing it to break in pieces around it. Scrambling to its many feet, twirling in circles seemingly trying to figure out where it was and where the giant hulking man was located. Feeling -

Leaving his boulder behind, Vulcan was not much for the water environment. It was sorta cold compared to what he was used to. The heat that he works around every day is night and day different from out here near the beach. There were a few things on his mind, one being what he was going to wear to the wedding… He would very possibly need to have something custom made given his size and broadness. Pulling out that hammer and gathering the stuff set aside for him. It was just another day of the same list of things that had to get done. Not sure what the purpose of all of it, but he was along for -

Griswold replied to Nisahime's topic in Intermediate Floors
A final slam of a shield would turn the king around, and with a brutal downward strike the hammer impacts clean. The hit alone would see ripples flow down the creatures body before it simply collapses, as if what was keeping its composure had somehow broken, sending a spray of moisture. The droplets of green that scatter around the place confirm the creatures demise, and the smith would look to the rest of his party for guidance. As a number of strange things seemed to have occurred during their little fight, and more interestingly the creature was drastically stronger then it should be. His t -

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Charge CD {2/3} A heavy hit from the smith sends one of the many slime duplicates reeling, proving that its division had soften its durability quite considerably. The strike was to the things head, causing it to unfurl and freeze there like a half popped water balloon before quivering and slowly reforming into a 'face' But before it can Griswold grabs it by the waist with both arms in a bear hug, ripping his weight back like a wrestler. The thing is then vaulted into the others like a wrecking ball, and for a moment there the other kings were the pins. They splash -

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Hyperactive +3 EN, Hyperactive Fades The smith would continue to try and keep up his own form of physical pressure, pulling hard on the chain linked to his right wrist. This causes his mallet to dislodge from back wall, causing a bit of the stone to give way as rubble in a scatter. It flies toward him with a decent speed and starts to whirl over his head as he clutches tight the chain that attaches it. The chain slides up his arm and he finds the handle, clapping the hammer against his shield it would see the thing pump full of flames. Pulling close that wall, its -

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Hyperactive +3 EN Griswold was feeling the demand and his lungs would hurt with how hard he was breathing, but he expected nothing less given his stature and the armor he was wearing. He wasn't as spry as some of these younglings yet he could hold his own. What he lacked in endurance he made up in strength, and damn it all he was going to use it. A turn of his body as the creature was being torn apart by the rest of his group, he finds the beast distracted and was still standing. The smith throws a heavy punch and clamps an open fist on anything he can manage to g -

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Hyperactive +3 EN The titanic colossus of a man, a well built complex of muscle and mass keeps his potent form of oppression as he blocks the incoming swipe before his right arm wraps the point of contact. Around the bladed arm he curves that pillar of flesh of his trapped in cobalt steel, turning it up and pulling it in closer. A singular knee followed by a headbutt causes his foe to stumble, allowing him the opportunity to continue his assault with a solid bash with his shield. The solid *thung* of it rings out, causing a spray of a sickly orange kindling as Gri -

Standard Recovery +4 EN The foundation of a man, a 6'9 giant finds his opponent through sheer tenacity and intensity. Its compromised and frozen quite readily with half of its body trapped. The smith smiles beneath the cobalt plated helmet, and twirls the mallet clutched in his right hand. What would follow is him beating that statue with every ounce of strength he could muster, like pounding rock into sand the attacks flow like a wild animal. Strike after strike, the bashing continues in the almost brutal and lopsided street brawl. A proof of the titan's endurance and his urge to put thi -

Standard Recovery +4 EN A stomp of his foot against the wall as his stampede completes, stopping him dead like a train. "There wont be a next time." The man barks toward the girl as his hammer drops to the floor, and with a twist of his well build upper torso its flung across the chamber. It punches clean through the target, dead center. The smith grabs the chain and undenounced to him it suddenly catches ablaze as he starts to change hands, dragging the creature who desperately flails trying to get the weapon out of its body. A gentle and nearly dying heat, yet still rich enough to show.
