Nicklaus continued to search for rare items out in the field. He did not expect his luck to repeat but he knew to at least try. At the very least, he was not allergic to vervain in the game as he was in real life. So he was able to physical see the plant in a lot closer detail than he would in the real world. Nicklaus needed something else to do. He got tired after defeating one weak boar. He decided it was time to explore the plains while searching for materials at the exact same time. He did not expect this to go well but he was going to try. It was the bare minimum of what he could do, which was to explore.
