Bastion is a Gamer, He spends majority of his money buying anything he can to support his gaming habits. He has had no real friends or girlfriends, and no jobs previous to being an electrician. He started MMOs at the age of 14 and continues to "MMO jump" often. He has play many many different kinds but upon hearing SAO's announcement, his dream has come true. A Game where you can fully immerse yourself in a virtual world by "Diving". He pre-ordered, obtained, and immediately hooked up the Nervegear. Taking off the first two days of work for SAO's release. As he enters this world, awed by its beauty and design, he learns after the fated meeting with Kayaba Akihiko that he is now stuck in this virtual world along with the other players as well.
