Whew. We had a tornado yesterday. Thankfully I'm alright, nothing was damage or broken, but that was a MASSIVE storm.

SAO Achievements! (long post)
So I've been trying to think of an achievement system for SAO, and I've talked a little bit about it with other staff. I know several players have said it's something they'd like to see... but I'd love more ideas! What kind of achievements would you like to see? How would you like them handled? Badges in your journal? Titles? Some with non-combat rewards of some kind?-
You and I have talked about this already, but I would encourage you to stick with very cut-and-dry achievements. You do it, or you don't. There is no denying what has or hasn't been done. I know ages ago we were talking about post and story quality, but we don't want to go down the Althanas road. I'm a huge badge girl. Earning badges or titles would be neat.

Yea, no I don't want to do post and story quality. I was thinking about achievements like Dungeoneering, where you do a dungeon on every floor in a Tier, or a Quest Master, where you complete X number of quests. Perhaps ones for beating a certain number of bosses, winning a certain number of duels. Other games have ones like "guardian" if you save someone who is almost dead, or maybe "vigilante" if you kill an orange player.
So I'm certainly curious for what kind of tasks could be good achievements, but also if people would like badges for their profiles, or titles, or a mix. If people would want them to show up under their avatar, or in their journal, etc... I have to research the technical limitations too.

Baldur breathed in a long, deep draw of that cold, crisp air flavored with the scent of pine and freshly fallen snow that permeated the floor. It felt so good to be walking along the lake with Lessa. Sorry it's taken me so long to fill in my posts guys. Life has been crazy recently, plus all the N7 stuff that's dropped. I"m trying to go back and hit them as quickly as I can.

Just an update for those curious. There's going to be a small update to skills/items related to healing since we've had our health totals increased so much. We're waiting to start the boss fight to get this update out (since it'll be relevant :P).
There was no big October update as there was in the past couple months, because the Staff team has been working on a MASSIVE update, which includes a complete revamping of the site guide (something that was started back when I was voted to be Player Rep).Thank you for your patience, and we can't wait to show you what we've been working on!

If you plan to participate in the floor 18 boss fight, make sure you're currently assigned to a group! Remember, the rules of how the boss fights work have changed, so make sure you're familiar with them.
