Baldur's blush at Ariel's suggestions were interrupted by Kimba's playfulness so Baldur scratched the rascal behind his ears and under his chin. Bleed, statistically, isn't worth it. Straight +DMG will deal more.
Thorns is good for protracted fights, or whittling away something with high MIT (such as boss fights) but not really for trash, since the number of mobs we can spawn is limited for 4 per player.
In 99% of the encounters, a straight +3 DMG/+3 ACC/+3 MIT is going to be your most effective item set regardless of character type or build. Once you have some +ACC from other sources, you can start to fill in other enhancements for flavor.

Baldur let out a sigh as he finally found the place he was looking for. He had thought he had gone crazy when he couldn't seem to find Ariel's shop on the snow covered floor. Pushing open the crowned lion door, Baldur looked around. The shop had a very homey feel to it, but this was obviously her place of work. Baldur had just enough time to see the fireplace before he was pounced on by a familiar white ball of fur. "Hey there Kimba." Baldur said with a laugh as he pet the white lion. "Where's Ariel? What is with all the max party size 3 quests? That's so annoying :( I want to put on some fun quest threads, but 2 other people just isn't enough.

I think I have figured out how to fix boss fights... or at least improve they way they're handled mechanically.

How many players do we have who just recently hit level 25? And i'm curious, what's your spec? I've been toying with the idea of putting together a 6 mean team for some shenanigans.

I will be gone for almost a week. I'll be traveling to see my grandparents for (probably) the last time. Kinda bizarre to think about that. I'll try to respond before I go, but my time online will probably be non-existent.

All of this is basically why we decided to tackle a revised guide. Many of the professions and rules haven't even been updated to include things like item tiers and sword arts being a thing. There are even rules in the Info Broker thread that aren't listed anywhere else. It's fine to leave the rules listed there, but there needs to be a single thread players can consult for all the rules so that stuff isn't getting lost, and we can say "this is the site's bible." And yes, if it isn't written there, then you can't do it. Friend's Inventory was pretty obscure canon, and not handled the same way

While I agree it's too early to judge the committee since everything we do and talk about is done in private and we don't have anything yet that we can show as "hey, this is what we've done based on your feedback," I do agree with everyone else's point that there shouldn't need to be a committee. That's what staff is supposed to be. Now perhaps a committee could be called upon to judge rulings where staff members are involved so there's some impartiality there, but ultimately the GMs and PSTs should be the ones taking player advice and feedback and implementing those changes. Baldur found the shop he was looking for. He had heard it was open in spite of the closed sign that hung off of the name of the shop. Knocking on the door, he tried to summon the Alchemist. "Hello? Anyone home? I've got some materials, and I really need some tier 1 mitigation crystals in a hurry! I was told by a friend you could help." Baldur hands over 9 Materials.
