It's quite measurable. I'm the Earl of Kent. That puts me below a Duke, but above a baron. :P Ah! Awesome. It's way too ungodly hot there, so I avoid going out in leather on the last weekend wherever possible, but everyone there knows me by name. If you say you know "Sir Clark" someone can point me out. That may be the nicest thing anyone's ever said *wipes away a single perfect tear*

If you're low level going on the boss fight, Field Rations give you +2 Max HP. Remember Pots are a post action as well.
