He twiddled this thumbs as the sounds of hacking continued (not to be confused with the more technological variety), and he hoped that it was the flesh of a mob, rather than some unfortunate player. "Actually, depending on the mob, that still sounds absolutely repulsive," he thought. But either way, he wasn't here to address his own food needs today. Azide drummed his fingers against the countertop and began tapping his feet against the wooden floor. He cleared his throat somewhat loudly, but failed to draw the shopkeeper's attention. He sighed, and began looking through the cuts that had a

He entered the shop in the way that'd become customary for him in this world. That is to say, he'd simply barged in uninvited and unannounced, with the expectation that the owner wouldn't actually care. As heavy wooden doors swung shut behind him, he walked up to the counter and glanced around. There were carcasses of various mobs hanging all about, and he could heard the heavy swings of what he could only assume was a butcher's knife. Each dull thud echoed out from the back room. "This place is kind of morbid, you know," remarked Azide. He doubted the shopkeeper could hear him, but he was b

"Is that so?" asked Azide. He stroked his chin with one hand, while the other remained by his hip. It wasn't as if he mistrusted the woman- it was the simple fact that the last time an NPC had approached in him the jungle, he'd been attacked. "By my own doppleganger, of all the things that could attack me." But even if she were to transform and lunge at him, he doubted he'd be in very much trouble. After all, he'd grown leaps and bounds since that time. "But I'm not number one yet," he reminded himself quietly. No, he certainly wasn't. Despite word of the disappearance of Azure's Zelrius, t

He rested his forearm against the small table that stood between himself and Mari. "I wouldn't be too worried about that," said Azide. He gave another glance at the various wares that the woman the woman housed in her shop. There were all sorts of curiosities- plenty of colors and textures he had yet to encounter in his own experiments. He scratched his cheek with a curled finger before looking back to her. "As long as it's been since the time you showed up at my lab with the sack of col and materials, I still have yet to open to the public. But honestly? Even if I were to start selling

"God damn it..." he muttered; his arms flailed about in a desperate attempt to steady himself. Azide stumbled through the flaps of a tent he'd barely even been able to find. As his arms parted the thick fabric, he was surprised to find that his shoes sank into plush-covered floors. The lighting was on the fainter side, but it was enough that he couldn't help but notice the clashing assortment of rugs and pillows that covered the ground. "Either the construction budget was a little tight, or she's just into the whole kitsch decor thing. Funny- I didn't picture either of those from a girl like h

[F11 - Master Tailor] The Lion's Den (Open)
Azide replied to Ariel - The Crowned Lion's topic in Merchants and Shops
He watched as Ariel made her return from the back room, carrying six boxes to the counter. He'd drawn his hands back before this, of course. The male player raised a brow after reading the note she'd addressed to himself and Anima. "You left a note for me? But I'm right here. And leaving money on the counter?" He scratched his head, then pulled up his inventory menu and transferred 1200 col to the tailor. "I think someone's had a long day," he remarked, taking the box that'd been labelled with his moniker. He briefly inspected them, then waved her goodbye as he exited The Lion's Den. -1200 c -

"I'd briefly considered the same thing, but for my uses, I think this will end up being the more preferable option. After all, I plan on using them against at least 90 more bosses after this one. Wouldn't want to have to buy all the vouchers needed to swap them back and forth between each fight," he remarked, chuckling. Azide leaned against the counter and began rapping his knuckles gently against the countertop, playing out something that was not quite a tune, though it made sense in his head. -

"Guess who's here with another order?" asked Azide. He entered the Lion's Den and made his way to the front desk, letting the door close shut behind him. "If you haven't already guessed, that person happens to be me," he added, stopping in front of the counter. He slid one of the forms from the stack onto the flat surface in front of him and began filling it out while speaking to the shopkeeper. "I'm more than pleased with the other gloves you've crafted for me," he said, raising his hand to prove his point. "In fact, I don't plan on swapping them out at all. But with that said, I'm here to or -

Azide peered into the box, then pulled out the two items inside and gave the two a cursorily inspection. "Everything seems to be in order," he said, giving a nod of satisfaction. "Much appreciated, Ariel. You've done well yet again. Don't be too surprised if I come back soon," added, chuckling. "Although in all seriousness, I'm pretty sure I'll be back soon." He opened up the SAO interface and sent 2400 col to Ariel, then exited it. After sending the items to his inventory, he smiled and gave his thanks, then waved over his shoulder as he exited the store. "I should probably cancel my order at -

Just as the lion cub began to approach him, he heard the jingling of a bell, signaling the entrance of another customer. He glanced over his shoulder and smiled upon seeing that it was a guild mate of his. More specifically, it was Shinex, who'd seemed to have devoted his life in Aincrad to becoming a ninja of some sort. Azide returned his bow with an even lower and more exaggerated. "Fancy meeting you here, Shinex. And as a matter of fact, I just placed an order for two items, actually," he said, crouching down. He lightly scratched the cub behind the ears, then ran his hand down the back -

Azide replied to Ariel - The Crowned Lion's topic in Merchants and Shops
Azide stepped into the Lion's Den and immediately walked over to the counter to grab two order forms and began hastily filling them out. "Forget what I said last time, Ariel. Actually, I'm still acting out of a concern for time frame, so nothing's really changed on that end. But I've decided I'd like prefer to have my items created here, assuming you've had time to restock your materials." He handed her the two sheets of paper. "So it's technically only one set, but each one has a different effect. What do you think? Are you up to it?" he asked, chuckling. Out of the corner of his eye, he spot -

"Ah, glad to hear business is booming," replied Azide. "I'd be more than happy to entertain these new prices, Ariel. After all, you get what you pay for, and your products have served me well so far. But unfortunately, my issue would be with the timespan." He laughed. "It looks like you might have to wait a while to get an actual order sheet from me. In the meantime, I wish you the best with your work!" He took his leave and waved as he exited the building. "Shall I try that new shop that's sprung up recently? The Crimson Jeweler, was it?" -

Azide replied to Ariel - The Crowned Lion's topic in Merchants and Shops
"Long time no see!" said Azide as he entered The Lion's Den, playing up his excitement a bit. He walked straight up to the counter and took one of the forms that Ariel had always kept around the place. "Of course, I haven't exactly used one yet, but better late than never." He began filling out neatly, but talked to the owner of the place while doing so. "I know what you're thinking- yes, I'm back already." With a chuckle, he handed Ariel the sheet, which had been completed with all that he'd detailed. "As it turns out, I'm getting a little tired of all the exploding potions down at the lab, s -

Azide picked up and inspected the five items, but made sure not too be overly thorough about it. "Normally I'm careful as hell about my stuff, and I'd love to go over it with a fine-toothed comb, but I'd rather not make a mockery of Ariel's crafting skills. It'd likely come off as a bit of an insult." The quality of the three miscellaneous items she'd provided were themselves, quite good. Among them, the armor set stood out particularly. But these items were to simply be donated to the guild storage, to be distributed among new recruits. The real prize catches were the armor and gloves he'd pe -

Azide entered The Lion's Den and saw Ariel, hard at work at whatever crafts she might be working on at the moment. "No doubt working to keep up with those order's she's been getting left and right." He'd seen all of the order sheets she'd had around the shop. In any case, he smiled and waved at the tailor and Lion herself, then walked up to the front desk. "I got your message, so I thought I'd swing by first chance I had to do a quick pickup. Is that alright with you?" -

Azide blinked. "She's really thought this through, hasn't she? Quite the business woman. He chuckled a bit as he picked up the contract and read it silently. "I'll just assume you've guessed my age from my appearance, but the bowing thing is just an old habit," he explained with a smile. He grabbed a nearby pen and nodded as he finished reading the tailor's terms, then signed his name neatly at the designated location. Or rather- his username: Azide. He figured that in this world, it'd be more binding than a name that no doubt appeared on absolutely no records (aka, his real name). "Surprising -

Azide looked up to see Ariel, who'd stepped out from the back room. He smiled and walked up to the counter. "Good to see you again as well, Ariel." He gave a slight bow, a habit which he'd resisted to follow through on until now. "I got your message the other day saying you'd finished the gloves, but as you know, I decided I'd wait until the set was completed before picking them up. I've actually just come back from a material gathering trip. If you happened to close the shop down from a lack of supplies, I'd be more than happy to supply you some, on the condition that I can have two additiona -

Azide replied to Ariel - The Crowned Lion's topic in Merchants and Shops
Azide opened the door to The Lion's Den and entered unannounced, as was customary to him. He'd noticed a sign, presumably from Ariel, that mentioned something about no further orders being taken at the moment. Regardless, he wasn't intending on placing any additional orders. Rather, he was here to inquire about the status of an existing one. Seeing no sign of any customers or Ariel, he decided to take a seat at the shop's sole table. "Hmm, looks like maple, or maybe oak. Never was very good at botany..." -

"I'm sure of it," he told her. "In fact, our guild will be setting off soon for an upcoming assignment of sorts I've been planning. I'll be sure to message you before we leave, in case you'd like to join us." He smiled and exited from the menus and thanked the tailor, then exited the Lion's Den, waving his goodbyes as he walked out. "After Oikawa finishes that little assignment I left him with, I'll be one step closer towards entering the frontlines," he noted. But that was for another day. -

Azide laughed. "Well, I do happen to be here at the moment, so I'm free to interact with any customers that might be around here. That being said, I've always thought paper forms to be somewhat archaic, especially in a digital system like this one. But in any case, I'll be sure to make a note of that in case I happen to stop by again." He then pulled up his inventory screen and transferred six materials over to Ariel and waited for her to accept them, nodding afterwards to confirm the answer to her request. "That sounds more than reasonable, Ariel. I think this arrangement will work out favora -

Azide strolled into The Lion's Den and glanced around. "Fancy place she's got here." True, he'd briefly discussed and then forged an alliance with Ariel, the owner. But that had been over private messages. "We've only met less than a handful of times before, and this is probably the first time I've set foot in a tailor shop. Not quite as frilly as I imagined." He'd noticed Oikawa leaving before he'd walked in, but the player had been a bit too far away for him to call out to. In any case, he spotted Ariel and walked up to her counter and bowed slightly with a smile. "Nice to see you, Ariel. I
