(I apologize to the GMs, I forgot to add the completion of this thread to the title. CobaltsDream and I both earned two items in this thread according to Night Shade/Asen's rules. Please add them to our journals as soon as possible. If you would like me to pinpoint the rolls and posts where we attained said equipment, please contact me through PM or Skype. And thank you guys for what you all do! Sincerely, Garou The Chained Werewolf

He smiled down at her even more. Sadly, they didn't have much more time to enjoy the atmosphere, since a loud clicking sound was heard. The large bed they were laying on tilted about 55 degrees and slid them down a chute that opened from the floor! CobaltsDream and Garou found themselves sliding down the narrow passage, with any attempt to grip for escape impossible. They continued to slide down and down, deeper into the building to the point where they were surely under the ground. "BEATHA!!!" the boy called out, flailing his arm wildly up to try to reach his female friend.
-
As Beatha complemented him, Yon let his lips curl slightly upwards as his eyebrows raised as if lifting the burden of the world off of him. The sad smile withheld tears, droplets of despair that he might one day release from his body. He simply smiled at her in silence, needing no words to thank her for what she had spoken. But still, the mention of her brother stabbed Yon in his heart, reminding him of his sworn duty to protect the innocent and return them to peace. The peace of the real world, where families could enjoy nights together laughing through their regretful arguments, despite the

His expression seemed to drain terribly. What did he even miss? Yon tried to think back, the only thing that really came to mind was his dog. But he knew even that wasn't true. He had taken the dog for granted then, and would only do the same if he returned. He finally gave his piece of mind to Beatha, who perched on his white-shirted chest. "I... There's nothing I would miss," he admitted. "All my life I had been looking for such a bold situation. Sword Art Online just happened to be it." He shrugged lightly. "To be honest, real life bored me. I've always wanted to play the hero, for others t

He nodded. "I hope I can stay here for you, but along the the far road of nobility, sacrifices must be made. Perhaps I will be one of the heroes who give their lives for the cause of freedom..." Yon looked away with a minor sadness, but turned back to smile at her again. He slowly pulled away from her and placed both arms behind the back of his head again. He waited for her to speak again, too tired to continue the conversation on his own terms.
-
Yon immediately started feeling bad. He seemed to slowly be losing himself within the game, losing his spirit, his will, his drive to go on. But now that he had found Beatha, he had been given purpose once more. And now he was berating her? Even if it was just in his head, he recognized it as a destructive force. Yon let the hurtful thoughts drift out of his head until he could focus on his friend's needs again. "I'm sorry. If we don't make it out of this game, then you won't even have the chance." He caressed her cheek and felt his eyes water ever so slightly. "But don't worry... You're alrea
-
"Ahhhhhhh..." he replied meekly. Horses. It had to be horses. He heard stories about horse girls, and they're strange attachments. Yon took a deep, shaky breath as he tried to calm himself down, doing his best to see past her flaw.
-
He hadn't really thought about the direct next step after high school, but he knew what he wanted to do. "I plan to go into meteorology. I'm really into the weather, and I love the rain. I think snow is gorgeous, personally. Maybe even better than just its liquid form..." He poked her nose a couple of times for fun.
-
The gentle lad scrunched his facial features in thought, searching for the right questions about the real world. "So... Do you have any plans when you get out of school?" Yon moved his hands to her right wrist and squeezed lightly, letting her know that he was eager to know. Even if they weren't making real physical contact, it was real enough for them.
-
Yon wore a more neutral expression on his face, less sadness but not exactly happiness. He hugged Beatha tightly and yawned, stretching his legs outwards. "Well, right now you're with me, Beatha. Let's discuss more happy things. We need to get to know each other better so we can really connect as friends. What would you like to talk about?" The boy still lightly held her in his arms, two bars of security than kept the horrors of the outside world away.
-
He frowned lightly and looked at her face again. "Ahhhhh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to strike a touchy subject." He pulled her a bit closer, despite his nervous disposition. "I'm... sorry..." Yon began stroking her hair softly, hoping she would start feeling more comfortable in Sword Art Online.
-
Yon looked down at her awkwardly. He was unsure what to say to her, not knowing the Scottish culture very much. "So... were you two intimate or something...?" He asked with a slight hint of fear for speaking out of place.
-
The (currently un-)Chained Werewolf could sense the girl's dissatisfaction. He pulled her back to him softly and began to speak. "It's okay, it feels nice. What did you mean by you not liking to sleep alone? Did your brother cuddle against you at night or something?" He chuckled, but the suggestion weirded him out a bit.
-
Yon made a goofy oof sound when she put her head on his chest, moving his arms from behind his own head and clinging to the covers like a cornered beast. "Um... Beatha... You're awfully close..." The boy began squirming comedically as he struggled to get more relaxed but not shrug his friend off of him.
-
He pushed himself up and looked at her with a look of slight pity and sadness. This girl... Is she my responsibility now...? He walked over to the other side of the bed and laid down slowly on top of the covers, both arms behind his head in a reclined position. "Happy now...?" the boy asked shyly. He was blushing slightly, but he did his best to force his green eyes to her blue eyes.
