The Chained Werewolf stopped to take off his felt white glove then grasped her right hand again, warmer without the material than with. "Erm... Um..." he began to stammer. The lad stopped to take a deep shaky breath as his palm began to sweat. "I, er... never was with anyone. I never had the time or the desire... What about you...?" he asked weakly.
-
He sighed as his blushing body began to melt the snow around him. He yelped in surprise and jumped back, his skin returning soon to a natural colour. Geez, so Sword Art Online has some bugs, huh... Garou sighed again as he walked up to Beatha, holding out his left hand with a shy smile.
-
Garou turned around to look at her again with his shimmering green eyes, his whole face still blushing. "Well... Um... This is an event where people... together hold hands... so..." His voice cracked with his last word, giving away just how skittish he was with Beatha.
-
Hormones pulsed through his veins as she also blushed, but he forced his excitement out of his head. Garou turned around again and started walking, finding the pressure to much to bear. The boy walked on in silence, too nervous to strike up conversation again. They turned onto an icy road with other players on it, holding hands and kissing as the time passed noon.
-
He smiled brightly and looked up at the sky, then turned to CobaltsDream with a almost dreaming look in his eyes. "I want to thank you for coming to this event with me. It means a lot." He stepped up to her, blushing but never breaking eye contact as he usually did.
-
Garou kept his voice hushed, in case any spy was listening in. "Yes... Its name will be SONUS SILENTII, which is Latin for the "sound of silence." We've only a few members so far... But we were planning on expanding the guild. Might you be interested...?"
-
The lad smiled softly as he hid his face with a cupped hand. "Alright, thats fine." He turned to an alley and walked ahead of her, his hands in his large Victorian coat pockets. He spoke softly as his black hat caught snow, forming a ring on the brims. "I'm making a guild of people who hunt down player killers," he whispered.
-
He blushed a deep red, kicking at the snow beneath him for a second. "Well... Um... I... Erm..." he stammered. Garou scratched the back of his head. "I would like to... If you'd like to... I mean, not that I don't want to, but I don't want to force it, or anything..." He puckered his mouth in nervousness.
-
Garou smiled wide and patted Beatha on her back. "Well, thats it for darts it seems. What game do you wanna play next?" The boy began walking forward down a snowed road, catching one falling snowflake with his tongue.
-
The Chained Werewolf's jaw dropped as Beatha almost took home another bullseye. "Man... You're even better than me..." He picked up his last dart and aimed it with one eye closed. Alright... Last dart... Better make this one count... Try to impress her... Win her over... It went fairly well, landing just outside her own darts. He scratched his head and looked into her blue eyes with his own green pair. "Heh... I guess I'm not as food as you. Show me how to do it with your last shot."
-
The boy applauded for a few seconds before picking up another dart, chucking it at the board. Only know he realized that the board was cleared from the previous game. The projectile hit pretty decently on the board. Truthfully, Garou didn't really care about the prize he had won at the moment, or even about the event. He was just glad to be with a special girl.
-
Garou grinned at his friend, then brought up another menu. "Apparently we can play again! Your prize will be sent to you at the festival's end. Time to play again, I suppose." Garou picked up a fresh dice and tossed it without thinking. WHAM. BULLSEYE!!!!!!!!!! He couldn't believe that he had just successfully got a perfect hit right after Beatha.
-
The boy stood and stared for a while, not exactly able to consciously register what had just happened. "Wow..." was about all he could muster. Garou then turned to CobaltsDream and hugged her tightly. "MY GOD, YOU'VE DONE IT!!!"
-
Garou made a "pffft" noise and took another dart, tossing it with all his strength. It barely hit again, and it was starting to get on his nerves. "Go ahead, finish up the game..." he muttered.
-
Garou frowned at her cruel snickering but laughed at her own failure. "Well, looks like I'm the superior player after all," he mused. Tossing another dart casually. It actually landed on the outer rim of the board, not sinking in as his other projectile did. "Ahhh, what the heck." The boy laughed some more as he moved out of Beatha's way, grinning at her.
-
Garou patted her back as he picked up a dart of his own. Garou eyed the board with almost a sixth sense, rearing back and letting the dart zoom through the air. Which was all nice because his shot didn't even hit the board. His dart was right of the edge of the board, driven into the wooden wall of the outdoor stall. Garou grumbled to himself as he looked at CobaltsDream, waiting for her to take her turn.
-
Garou got up and blushed in embarrassment as couple their age skated bye. "Weirdos," the male whispered audibly. The purple haired boy sighed at the comment and took off his ice skates, walking back to the old lady and gave their skates back. "Here you go." He stooped down to grab his hat that had drifted to that side of Snowberry lake and put it back on his head, also gathering his chains and gloves to put them back on. After he was fully reequipped, Garou led CobaltsDream to a moustachioed man and gave him some col. "Alright, I'll let you throw the first dart," the boy said with a smile.
-
"Hmm... how about darts?" the green eyed boy asked. Before anything else could happen, they reached the other end of the lake with their Garou's back to it. The 'wolfman' fell onto his back on the soft snow, causing Beatha to collapse on top of him. "Blast... sorry about that," he murmured looking up at her as other skaters stopped at stared at the two.
-
Garou chuckled happily as he held Beatha to his body. "So do you want to get off the lake now, or what do you have in mind? You don't seem to be much of a skater," he chided softly.
-
The Chained Werewolf dashed forth, the wind that was barely there whipping his face from the speed. Garou's black, long-rimmed hat flew off his purple hair as he spun and caught Beatha's hand pulling her close to him as they spun slowly towards the other end of the lake. "How was that?" Garou asked with a smile.
-
Garou grabbed her hand firmly and grinned at her. "Get ready! You're about to wow everyone!" He spun on the heels of his skates past an older, young adult couple and flung CobaltsDream away from him, skitting towards the center of the lake. The boy got low and started skating quickly towards her, almost light speed it seemed. Just hang on for one second, Beatha, the boy thought. I'll get you in one second.
-
Garou smiled warmly at the girl as he took off the chains over his body manually, removing his white felt gloves afterwards. He grabbed her right hand with his own left, a palm even warmer than his smile. The green-eyed boy led her right onto Snowberry Lake, pulling her close as he glided slowly across the edge of the icy body of water. The closeness caused him to blush again. "You just have to be careful and concentrate, is all it takes..."
-
He nodded as he led the way towards the iced-over lake on the other side of the town. Though Garou was visibly nervous to be with Beatha on what seemed to be a date, his stride was still bold and he seemed confident. Garou bought both of them a pair of ice skates each from a happy looking, little old NPC lady. The purple-haired boy laced up before Beatha, kicking out his bladed foot at thin air. "Huh. Just like back home." Luckily for Garou, he was average at ice skating.
-
The boy led the way into the frosty village of Hugemel, his face suddenly brightening like the rays of the sun. "Wow..." he whispered. The view was breathtaking, as buildings wove red and pink streamers from their roofs' edges, pink cut-outs of people holding hands, and balloons the shape of hearts saying, "I LOVE YOU." Garou looked at Beatha shyly. "So, uh... do you want to play any games?"
-
Garou watched with an open mouth as he caught the col and watched Clarence be escorted away. "Well, at least we don't have to deal with those blasted guards." He turned to look at Beatha again shyly. "Erm... are you really... my girlfriend...?"
