  2. This was the first time that the hunter was in such a weird place. Everyone there seemed like they were top dog and were more important than him. Even though he had never met any of them, he was somehow knew their names. What sort of place was this that could beam such thoughts into ones mind. The hunter thought about that last part for a second and remembered what Shield had said once. Everyone had some kind of helmet on their heads in real life that was giving them sensations through some sort of wavelength that could be used and read by the brain, and read back into the machine to give
  3. Following through to his words, the hunter started to scavenge through the room. For a while, it was mostly inspecting any books and documents that were spread around, but none seemed to have anything that he could easily decipher. Everything was in a runic language that the hunter didn't understand at all, as if the game didn't want to give him the answers he was looking for. Though, that did not mean that he couldn't learn. "If I had a cypher or something.." When Hirru heard Baldur talk about the council again, the hunter realized something. Each one seemed to mirror the player
  4. Hirru had to think on the matter, but it was only to collect his scattering thoughts. He started to pace a bit through the broken room before looking to Baldur. "I don't like to admit it, but I think the game set this up. Trying to taunt us with the events of this floors boss fight." The hunter shook his head. It was too much of a coincidence to be anything but that. "You said you got the map for this from the last hit on Eva.. the council. It could be that it was originally going to lead into a event, or what not." Hirru looked out into the hallway that the Antiroyalis
  5. "Let's end this!" Seeing that Baldur was doing well in ripping into the boss, the hunter would want to continue the onslaught as soon as he possibly could. When the freezing effect from the cooldown had settled, Hirru had already set upon breaking the bosses armor. With the new Shatter ability, he had been constantly trying to use it whenever possible. This situation would be no exception, as the hunter jumped forward to allow the first thrust of Calamitous Disaster to have more power. The hit was true as the thrust went straight into the dark elf's gut before the art pulled back and
  6. After a fair day's work, the hunter was travelling along in his caravan when he noticed something strange. It seemed to be a small campsite, but he couldn't tell for sure. "Merchant! Stop!" He called out to the stagecoach, whom was his merchant npc, to stop the carriage. A pull of the reins, and some tossing and turning of goods that nearly fell on the hunter, Hirru jumped off of the back carriage. It had been some time since he had seen a proper campsite that he thought it was another quest giver. Instead, it seemed to be a player, a shopkeeper actually. "Well, salutation
  7. "Baldur!" The hunter called out as the door flew open, and threw his friend against the wall. Everything happened rather fast. From having questions asked to combat initiating, Hirru wasn't sure what happened. However, what he did know was that this dungeon boss knew more than he let on. "If you wanna know, I got it for services rendered." He would then plant his foot hard into the D. Elf's foot, then used his charge ability at point blank range, using the speed instead upon his blade. Galaxy Destroyer ripped through the antiroyalist's armor, as if it was wet clay. Soon, th
  8. When Astreya missed, that signaled the end of their battle as the Fae and dodged her attack and had enough time to unlock one of the cells with the Tainted Ones. He snickered before that started to grow into a maniacal laughter, as the cage door was pushed open in front of him, and the shambling mass came fumbling out. Creatures that slightly share their Faune traits, but they are twisted and shriveled. Their bodies seeming to be amalgamations of multiple faune combine in unnatural ways. They seemed to crawl out of the cage quite slowly, but soon began to get very fast. Several of them ha

  11. Pulling out the Emerald Flame, the hunter set up shop once more as the caravan had come to town. The mysterious merchant climbed down from his seat and greeted the Rune Scribe as he normally would. Hirru had just returned from a simple job, but nothing he couldn't handle all the same. Still, he was disappointed by the lack of items he was gaining. Hopefully, his luck would change for the better. "Well, let's see what first tier consumables these will be." He said while touching each one in succession. Their little boxes would denote their rarity, these being both single box unco
  12. As Astreya was letting Randal out of his cage, the Jade Hunter was still yelling to gain as much attention as he could. He didn't have the tank skill <<Howl>>, but this would be enough for now to gain the attention of those around him. That and his sweeping AOE attack that caused quite a bit of noise, too. There were only three of the bloody Fae left to deal with, in the area. There could be more as they go along, but that was for later. This was now! Taking his time, he would watch as the one that was torturing the paraded faune to places unknown would come towards him. An
  13. Hirru pursed his lips while thinking upon the matter. Was he really happy with two handed straight sword, as it was? He would have to look into alternatives, or possibly making it better. "We've all come a long way from what we used to be. Though, practice does help. I'll certainly look into your dojo then. If I'm staying there, I might as well train myself harder while looking for new ways to improve myself." The hunter opened his menu with a swipe of his fingers, he would find the skills icon and tap it. From there, he could see his entire skills layout lay before him. Two
  14. "It doesn't help that we didn't have many two handed sword users except Mac, until now. Everyone was mostly one handed straight sword, or one of the more powerful two handed weaponry varieties. So, my only model for my arts has been Mac." He sighed while also pulling over a seat across from his azure friend. While thinking about Mac, he grinned harder and harder before a little laugh came from his lips. It must be the peaceful nature of the current situation, as they were in no real danger, but he felt much more open with Baldur around. "You know, I was planning to go two handed
  15. Hirru heared a small cracking sound coming from one of the green markers, indicating that one of them was trying to break out. He couldn't see the other two, but there was one that was near him. He couldn't make out any figure or silhouette, so he hoped it was someone he knew. Standing up fully, the hunter pulled out his sword just as the Fae that was keeping watch on him made notice. "How did you get that, you.." Before it could finish, Hirru giving a heavy grin before stomping hard on the ground, which activated his highest sword art: Galaxy Destroyer. With a large sweeping str
  16. With the death of the final enemy within that room, the hunter could relax a little bit. Throughout the room, there didn't seem to be anything in particular that required investigation. Just a mostly empty room with a few tables and chairs here and there. There were some things hanging on the wall, but the hunter didn't know if they were really important or not. If they were, they were in a dialect that he couldn't read just yet. Over time, and a little luck, he may be able to learn it all. Turning back to Baldur, he shrugged while holding the envenomed blade. "I have one more s
  17. The hunter couldn't handle it anymore, as the mist seemed to have some sort of narcoleptic properties to it. His eyes drew heavy, and before he knew it, he was asle.. "Wha!" He awoke with a start after having been splashed with something wet. His face was wet and so was most of his body, though the water physics of the game would have it fall off in a few minutes. His eyes didn't need to adjust to any bright light or anything, as he found himself in a dimly lit cavern. Here and there, small torches would flicker and flare around, showing more and more of the area. With more de
  18. The dull pressure that would come about from the crooked dagger seemed to fade just as quickly as it came. The dark elf extremist that had attacked him had reeled back while spouting some nonsense about killing all of us interlopers, until he saw the small symbol of royalty upon Hirru's headband. His eyes would widen before squinting sharply, as if to say: 'there is no way'. "How do you, an outsider and intruder to our home, carry the symbol of the royal family?!" The hunter took this as a small sign that the item was good for something, but not much anywhere except the 23rd floor.
  19. The hunter sighed as they ventured closer to the runic structure. A small amount of mist was crawling out of the wood work as Randal investigated the monolith, which the hunter soon had issue with. They were nowhere near the Forest of Wavering Mist for that to happen, and it was not morning, where the morning dew would could be seen as light fog as it hung in the atmosphere. Neither conditions were met, so something else was the issue now. His search skill immediately kicked in to alert him to a new danger. Snapping his head over to where Dwayne once stood, there was now something differe
  20. [Enacting darkness debuff: -1 ACC unless Night Vision or Glowstone used] It was dark by the time the group was ready to go. Short words were given, but by the time they had set out, there wasn't much that would help them now. It would take some time to get to the Forest of Wavering Mist from where they were. Going south from Aryut, the party would roll through the small town of Flora. A beautiful place in of itself, but one could feel eyes upon them. Faune and Fae alike live in this village, which gave some concern to the hunter as he wasn't getting any nasty pings out of his search
  21. The Jade Hunter was taken aback by the sudden question. There weren't that many that really questioned it, and most just said it was odd. This was the first time that he was properly questioned about it. He had to turn it around. "Is any of our hair real?" Taking a more philosophical approach, but he couldn't hold his smile back before waving his hand out to the taller man. While grabbing a tuft of hair, Hirru replied. "Ha! No, this is dyed. You could get some from an alchemist, if they still care to make them anymore. My hair was supposed to be green like a clover, for l
  22. The hunter couldn't help but hear shouts for some people around the area. It seemed that a player had just been taken captive by the Fae, as well as, another of the bunny race. The red headed male was trying to find some people to help him in getting their friend back. It seemed to get the attention of two separate players; one that seemed to be built for speed, that much can be seen from the brunette man's choice in armor. The other seemed to be a girl of dark long hair. This one seemed to be sporting a heavier build than the other one, while still being a dress at the same time. Rather
  23. Never Make A Deal With A Fae Among the Faune, humanoid creatures that sport quite large rabbit like ears, there have been word of disappearances of late. Many can be attributed to the other denizens of the third floor, the Fae. Whimsical creatures of their own right, they show an air of excellence and elitism, none so higher than some elves on higher floors. These Fae are known to be quite hospitable and homely, but that is just a light ruse. Their guise is two fold. They can not outright lie, but their ways of spreading out the truth is quite remarkable. It is easy for one such cre
  24. "I've had quite enough practice to figure out this two handed straight sword, but I can say that I do need to break this new one in." Following along side his samurai brother-in-arms, they appeared to be in a den of thieves and miscreants. Apparently, Baldur had got some very important dungeon maps recently that applied to the whereabouts of this particular group of assassins. There were a few dark elves that sprung out of the shadows to stop their attempts, but the speed of Baldur's blade made them a trivial thing. As the rubble that would break from the upper terrace fell down around
  25. "Wait, what?" The hunter was propositioned to join a guild that Baldur and Shield had brought together out of nearly all of the most infamous players in Aincrad, including the mass-murderer Mari. If it wasn't for the fact that Hirru had a brotherly relationship with another mass-murderer, Teayre, then the hunter would think that Baldur had lost his own marbles. Everyone deserved redemption, as the samurai stated before, and he was willing to lend people a hand with it. This man was crazier than the hunter ever thought, and it made him happy. He wasn't the only crazy one around. S
