Well, I don't remember how many skill points I had before my hiatus... And I can NOT be bothered going back through every topic I was in to figure it out, so I'm starting from scratch with Carambit :D Can't wait to RP with some of you!
-
Ladies and Gentlemen... Carambit is thinking of returning to the forum. Are things still pretty active around here? I've missed RPing and I'd love to get back into it.

How to wake up with Carambit.
1) Hear alarm go off in the morning, and hear it distantly behind you, indicating you are on the far side of your bed.
2) Roll over at full speed to get to the other side of the bed faster.
3) Discover you were incorrect in assuming step 1.
4) Smash face on bedside drawers and crash into floor, sustaining gnarly carpet burn.
5) Shamefully pick self up off of floor and carry on.
Turns out I had turned that one alarm I had selected down in volume. And therefore when I woke up it sounded further away, but was just quieter.- Show previous comments 10 more

The thing is ... I started in the bed but never woke up from the fall. It had happened quite a few times, even when I was little and had nightmares, I ran into my parent's room to sleep on the side. My mom woke up suddenly at night because of a big and loud "THOMP" and it was me who fell from the bed. She wouldn't pick me up because she was afraid of me waking up. I was still sleeping.

Purchased a $400 piece of equipment (with shipping and handling from the other side of the world) and when it arrived... The charger port on it is busted, and as a result isn't functional. Now they want me to ship it back to them, at my expense, so they can work out what's wrong with it and let me know what to do from there.
Like really, it isn't my fault I got sent broken stuff... So why do I have to pay to ship it back to them to fix the issue... That kinda sucks... Shipping from me to them is going to cost me another 70 dollars at least. I have such bad luck buying stuff online.-
That suuuucks. I always have good luck, even when I buy things last minute they arrive and are of excellent quality. But, if you really want that item, then you'll contribute the money needed.
...Next time find a cheaper alternative xD I'm always bargaining and in the depths of multiple sites so I get the best deal.

Yeah I'm throwing the money at them to ship it back to them, because I really do want it... But damn son.
Yeah this one could only be bought from the company that actually makes them. Its a pair of sunglasses wiht a 1080p camera in the center so I can use them for insurance and vlogging. Gonna start my youtube back up and vlog with it, recording my everyday life stuff and recording dumb drivers.

Well, the end of a long journey. Yesterday my partner and I decided after being together for nearly 3 years, that it wasn't working anymore and it was time to split. We're handling it like adults and it was a mutual break up, so we're still talking we just aren't dating anymore.
I'm not sure if anyone has any experience with breakups on here or not, but if they do, any advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated, as it was my first real relationship, and its a pretty rough thing to go through.
Thanks for reading this guys. -
Bad news guys, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided I don't have enough time on my hands any longer to continue being active in this forum.
University life is much more busy than I had anticipated, and although I am working to keep on top of my assignments and studies and get them done early, more work continues to arise from the abyss. I am sorry to those who I am in a current RP with, but I just can't keep up anymore :(
I want to let everyone know that although my time here has been short, I have enjoyed every moment of it and had heaps of fun interacting with the community here. You're all so friendly and so very welcoming.
If there ever comes a time where I am able to continue here on the forum, trust that I will be back. But for now, I must bid you adieu. -
Well that's not what you want... My foot felt sticky so I looked down at it to see I'd cut the top of it open and it was bleeding everywhere. All cleaned up and bandaged. I haven't got a clue how I did it though. It didn't even hurt until I noticed it properly. What's more worrying is the drips of blood on the new carpet. What a bugger.
I guess these sorts of things don't tend to have as much of an impact if you aren't paying attention to them. The human body sure is a weird thing... -
Why is the ocean the way it is? Like really. When creating the earth nature must have been like.
"Just fill it with water!"
"Oh that's a great idea, now if they get thirsty they-"
"Make it undrinkable." -
Sorry about the absence guys. Anyone who's in an RP with me I do sincerely apologize for taking so long, and I promise I'll be back to posting soon, I've just had a heap of stuff to deal with as of late regarding my personal life. As much as I'd love to just RP through this, I don't feel like I'm in the right mindset to put out any sort of decent content, which isn't really fair to you guys or myself. The problems seem to be sorted out for now, I might just need another couple of days to sort my head space out. Promise I'll be back soon! For those who are in an open party RP with me, just keep skipping me until I say I'm back. Sorry again for the inconvenience. Some stuff just came out of nowhere, and life hits like a freight train.

Well, you look quite different. Did you get a haircut?

Just gotta put it out there; whenever I hear people say "9 out of 10 forest fires are caused by humans" all I can think is "There's a bear out there somewhere who knows how to use matches..."
-
I always find myself questioning whether that statistic includes the myriad tiny, controlled burns that we use to limit the numbers of huge, uncontrollable nightmares. We finally figured that one out, after all, didn't we? Torching the forest a little bit at a time does near-miraculous good for slowing down the pace of fuel buildup.
