    I am working on a new original character art. Even though my drawing sucks I will try. Also if your blind IRL are you blind in SAO?

      The answer to the last part would be no.

      The NerveGear is sending signals to the brain directly.  Unless the person had the vision center of their mind damaged, then they would be blind in game too.  Most cases of blindness are caused externally from the brain (detached retina, severe trauma, etc.)

      It's just like having no legs in real life, but being able to walk in SAO.  Your brain knows how to work that limb, even if it isn't there.  Which brings about phantom pain.  My character suffers from this, so it's easy to figure out.
