IMHO, Uniques should be very specific. They shouldn't be better in ALL situations, but they should be better than anything else in THEIR situation.

Also IMHO, elemental damage is directly in contradiction to canon/lore, so they should be removed. There were DoTs in the game, but they were by weapon type, such as "Piecing DoT" or "Slashing" DoT

So burn, Blight, Holy, Infernal, etc... should be eliminated. Poison I'm fine with as long as it's applied via consumable, or only a unique enhancement

This is the point I was attempting to make. Right now I think bleed is actually even with Blight, and better than envenom.

1.6 percent to be precise, with a +1 CD. Its doable, and for unique enchantments, worth it, in my opinion.

We'll agree to disagree. Hopefully you won't see the frustration with it I've seen (even with the bonus). It was a system designed to fail, unfortunately.

Azide's case is different-

His build relied solely on evasion to avoid taking damage. He didn't use any buffs either and Rohk was an abnormally strong boss for such a low floor.

The thing was immune to stun and para, thorns damage in all variants were halved against it, crits were halved, and it had high evasion to ensure normal attacks miss as well as really high accuracy buffs to make sure its attacks landed. Not to mention the killer AoE that could hit EVERYONE in the battle and the ability to heal itself...

Needless to say there were a lot of close calls in that fight.

The problem is that we had poor planning going into the fight, and the healers weren't in a position to be able to help anyone, and then the boss got to stun people and act 4-5 times before a player could act once. All it would have taken was Azide (or anyone) being able to use a heal crystal. He got attacked 3-4 times without getting an action and died without being able to do anything. The fact that the boss AoE was on Natural 10s meant that evasion builds were useless (as is often the case, unfortunately).

It's just another in a long lists of death that weren't because of player skill (though was exacerbated by poor planning), but rather because of unwieldy turn control.

I was a part of the planning for that fight, although I didnt have much influence. The plan was to put all the dps in front and finish it before it got a chance. We knew how hard it was going to be. However, they neglected to really create a formation after the first party.

You can buy Teleport Crystals from my Merchant shop. I also have field rations, which are a poor man's overhealth food.
