I'm game, I need to get out a bit and make some contacts. As long as your fine with RPing with someone that's a bot cold and distant at first, at first being quite a while unless you work at it, then I'm game. I think the polar opposites would be nice for story.

I'm not sure how starting off notably weak and gaining abilities that are remarkably more powerful would take away a sense of achievement or satisfaction, but eh. Whether they stay or whether they go is entirely inconsequential to the balance of the forum, so I couldn't really care less about what happens to them.

Thats exactly what Im saying, starting of weak and gaining abilities that are remarkably more powerful would give you a since of achievement. Im not saying to take away all sword arts, Im saying to take away sword arts that don't do anything more than a basic attack. "Whether they stay or whether they go is entirely inconsequential to the balance of the forum." Thats also exactly my point. Think of it like a horder on one of those TV shows. If the mechanic, whether certain sword arts or something completely different, isn't adding value to the game then why is it there? Throw it away and make room for things that do add value. Like any other game players on this forum will want new and fresh content. In order to accommodate this you have to delete or merge existing mechanics otherwise once we reach floor 100 we will have a tutorial page thats to long to read. All I'm simply doing is pointing a small thing that I don't see any value in having. Everyone is welcome to their opinion though and in the end its up to the staff. Regardless though I look forward to enjoying my time here.

Well, for someone like me, a Two-handed Straight Sword user, the basic sword arts are quite funky, so I use them a lot actually. But that's just my sword I guess.

Probably just a random adventure since I wouldn't last long in a boss fight lol
