Vigilon picked up a book on blacksmithing earlier, because why not? He was reading it carefully, since a little knowledge might help with his crafting. Eventually, he stumbled upon shield forging. "Hmm....Ah, I get it now!" He checked the capabilities of his profession on the menu real quick, and noticed that he was now capable of making shields. Clearly the book had nothing to do with it, but at least he had a few tips, tricks, and shield styles to work with. Another day in the shop was another day to craft some things for the shop. Vigilon grabbed the hammer, started up the forge, and got to work. Clearly, it would take some time before he mastered crafting tier two items. At least he was able to get two rare items made. For his last craft, he went back to his tier one materials. He managed to make a pretty good sword that should be worth a nice price. "Guess I'm going to need some more practice when it comes to items of a higher tier...but on the bright side, at least I'm actually stocking the shelves with these!" Crafting Results: -

It had been a while since Vigilon had last made something for his shop. He might as well begin crafting again, for he might actually make something worth buying. He started with forging a rapier, and that would be the best result he'd get for the whole day. After successfully making two other tier one weapons, things would only get crazier from then on. As he attempted to forge a two handed axe from a tier two material, he accidentally got his hand stuck between the anvil and the hot weapon-to-be. How did he notice? With unpredictable availability for use of a computer, as well as trying to put together a story or more, I might end up posting less than the rate I want to... I just hope I don't forget any threads...

I've been gone for a bit of a while, but I'm slowly coming back, and hoping to get back into the swing of things. I clearly have a lot of threads to reply to, but it might take me a few days to get back to posting like crazy, and catch up with all these threads. However, I consider myself ready to get back to roleplaying on this site.

I've noticed that I've been getting less and less active lately... My writer's block issue may be diminishing, but due to another problem that is strengthening it little by little, my muse is still far from where it needs to be. I still have a lot of threads to reply to, and the problem that's bothering me the most....well, I'd say it would take me a lot of courage to admit that I believe I might have an anxiety problem... I worry if my posts are well-written, rather than poorly written, I fear negative responses that are definitely possible, and sometimes when I go to bed after making a post, I find it hard to sleep because I'm already regretting the post, calling myself an idiot in my head. I'm doing what I can to resolve this problem of mine, and get back to posting at the rate I once did, but I don't know how long that is going to take me...
So, in short, I apologize to all I have threads with, and I hope to be able to get back to posting a my usual rate soon.

Although I'm not in a thread with you, I'd say take as much time as you need. I know how it feels to have an issue with anxiety (especially depending on the severity) so I understand if it takes a while for you to sort some things out. I understand this doesn't mean much for someone in your position, but what you should care about is if you think the quality of your work is good rather than the responses of people. After that, everything else follows. If you seek to improve that quality, do it because you want to improve your writing rather than you want people to enjoy it more.
But once again, I'd just like to say if you need time to figure some things out, it's completely fine.

Vigilon waited patiently as Shield identified the light armor. So there wasn't anything unique. Well, what else is new? Decent for a DPS? Good enough. When the light armor was handed back to Vigilon, he took a look at what the item was now. A black leather mantle with a silver brooch in the shape of a shield. It had Mitigation, Evasion, and Recovery. Basically what he had before, but slightly better in terms of Mitigation. It was also much cooler than his other light armor. Now that Vigilon was finally tier two, he would need to start getting some gear that had to do with such. He had a set of tier two light armor, but it just hadn't been identified yet. As a result, it was off to the merchants again. He knew exactly who to go to for this task. He at least had the col to pay for it, so... He made his way to the eleventh floor, and once he reached his destination, he entered the building. "Got another item for you to identify. Tier two this time, now that I've finally reached it." Well, from what Sports I've done... I could have gone with paintball, but those shots can hurt. Shots to the back are among the worst. I used to do kickball weekly, but I didn't enjoy it as much as my vote. Dodgeball was much more fun, so that's my vote.

Vigilon was making sure the forge was still in working order. Even though he had too few materials, it wouldn't hurt to have some maintenance. Someone entered through the door, and he saw someone looking at two of the items he'd crafted. Bruniikahrel's Resilience, and Darukai. Both pretty good choices. He came up to the counter and asked for the items as he motioned to them. "Yup, that's only 1400 col. It's nice to know that some of my best work can be put to good use." Right...so I actually have notes to add to some of my answers, for a few reasons I won't be mentioning. The whole thing of being able to create a character in a world like this seemed like a good RP opportunity. To be honest, this is the first Forum RP site I've ever been to. Having to become stronger seemed to be the primary task of my character, Vigilon, from since the beginning, and even the present day. I've been able to find bits of story I could throw in with that in mind, and the only thing I didn't like about this situation of mine, is the slow level growth my character has... I m

Is it possible for typical players like myself to start Poll-type threads in SAO(OOC) subforum to get other players' opinions on something?

Well, from what you're saying, I think I haven't given the context...so I will do so now, 'cause better late than never.
Basically, I have found myself in a specific roadblock. I have been considering getting Vigilon into GGORPG, but unlike with SAORPG, I ended up finding about four potential avatar choices and I can't seem to figure out which one to go with. Thus, I considered possibly letting the players around share their thoughts on which one should be the avatar Vigilon ends up with. Besides, all I could come up with on asking for the players' opinions kind of comes in like a multiple choice question that would be easier to track by going with the poll setup. I also didn't see a "GGO(OOC)" subforum anywhere in the world seed, and last time I checked, discord is still not an option for me. And yes, the Poll option does appear for me when I prepare to start a thread.
So...does my context change the answer, or can I still ask for players' thoughts?
