  1. Krysta saw the effects of her successful attack. The last two creatures' courage was gone. Where the other party was, there was a single rain minion there, all alone, looking absolutely terrified. She looked back to the two creatures that were practically holding each other, prepared for the worst. "I pity you both, though I doubt you are willing to surrender... I shall make this quick." She would charge her Sword Art, and make one more attack on a Rain Minion, striking the creature with Penetrate. Krysta would jump back, and feel the strain of her exertion, and the weight of her weapon. She couldn't possibly use any sword arts until she gathered her strength again. She looked to her party members. "The battle is almost done. I must now rest for a short time before I can contribute again. I feel that I have pretty much done my part here."

  2. Krysta would teleport into the fifth floor of Aincrad. The cold was replaced with the heat, that was one of the first things to be noticed. She looked around her to see a desert settlement. "So then, this is the fifth floor..." This was actually the first time Krysta had been to the fifth floor. "That's right, it is. Be cautious, though. Outside the safe zone, the occasional sandstorm can prove to be a problem. I've heard there was a quest that grants a skill that would make one immune to it, but I have yet to find such a quest myself..." Alanin would explain. Surely, the creature she would be hunting would be found today. The day was still young, and Krysta had slain the previous boss, Avalanche, just a few hours ago. It was almost the afternoon, and Krysta had taken a look in her inventory to make sure she had a teleport crystal. Indeed, she did. If something was to happen, she would be ready for it.

  3. Krysta would soon see Sunova again, and the girl poked Vigilon in the side, she would ask if they remembered her, but then uttered out for the two to not answer, for some reason. "Hello again, Su. Are you doing well?" Sunova would notice Astralin, and introduce herself to her. Astralin would almost slip out her real name, a mistake Krysta had also almost made once. Sunova would turn to speak with Vigilon, but her choice of words would make the situation not so comfortable. Vigilon and Astralin both completely denied it. "W-whaaa?? I do believe that Alex would never be the sort to be like that! He has proven to me that he will love one girl and one only!" Why would Sunova ever suggest such a thing? He was doing a favor for someone, it was an act of kindness! As it turns out, Astralin had mistaken Vigilon's age, to which Vigilon would reveal his actual age. "Yes, he was indeed eighteen years old when this game began. Assuming Alex is correct in terms of time passed, that would make me about eighteen or nineteen as of today." Astralin would then speak of how adorable Vigilon and Krysta were together, and Krysta kind of blushed slightly. Sure, she was fine with the positive feedback over her relationship with Vigilon, but she was starting to get a bit bashful over it. Vigilon's familiar would return to his shoulder, a bit after she was asked about. Yolviinsil was on Krysta's back again, but since Krysta was wearing a one-piece swimsuit, the small ruby red feathered dragon had few places to grip, eventually forcing her to climb up to Krysta's shoulder, where she would just look at all the players around shyly, almost curled up into a ball.

    Not too long after that was said, Someone would approach the players. A young woman with black hair, blue eyes, a blue one-piece swimsuit, and this player had a streak of hair that must have been dyed an ultramarine blue. She would address Astralin as Libra, which was apparently her real name. Astralin would respond, addressing the player as Aquarius. Perhaps these names were just nicknames? It would seem that the two players knew each other in real life. "Pardon me, but may I ask if Libra and Aquarius are your real names, or just nicknames that you gave each other?"

    @Vigilon @Astralin @Sunova

    Meanwhile, there would be a late arrival to the party. Alanin was reluctant to go at first, due to the mild slump he was thrown into from being friendzoned by Krysta. He needed the social interactions, so it wouldn't hurt to go. He would see that almost everyone was in a conversation or two. Perhaps he would join in one, unless someone was to find him and speak to him first.

    Alanin(couldn't find a pic of this guy in a swimsuit, so here's the faceclaim pic instead. He's currently wearing a pair of red and white swim trunks.):

  4. The party would ultimately fail to make use of Kityuisa's strategy, and the remaining Rain Minions would begin to try and disrupt the players' actions as they swarmed the party's tank, Mace. Surely, the second time around might fare better for the players. Krysta would manage to figure out where one Rain Minion was headed, and would prepare to attack. Despite the chaos, she managed to position herself so that when the Rain Minion she was going for passed by, she would strike it down before it had a chance to dodge. She managed to attack the creature with the Sword Art known as Penetrate. At last, she managed to attempt an attack that would strike the slippery creatures. Her undesirable streak of misses has been broken. "We can do this, we cannot stop now!" She would call out to the party. "If we work together, we can finish this! Mace, you need worry not about gathering hate any longer, strike when you have a chance!" She called out in suggestion. The battle was almost over, so perhaps if the players could gather their strength and fend off the other two Rain minions, their party could stand in victory.

  5. Krysta was happy to accept her boyfriend's offer to escort her and his acquaintance to the beach party on the twenty-fourth floor. Krysta would assist Vigilon with the only hostile encounter, and the beast was swiftly vanquished. She was able to become acquainted with Astralin during the journey. It would seem that this player wasn't one for blade weapons, yet she got the game anyway. Was she expecting there to be other things in this game? Whatever the case, she seemed like quite an energetic young woman.

    When the players arrived at the beach, Vigilon would seek out some cover in order to change using the equip system. Most likely, it brought him some feeling of security to do so, and Krysta would follow suit, seeking out some cover as well to use the equip system to swap out her normal adventuring gear for her beach outfit. When she came out, she was wearing a one-piece white swimsuit, and she would swiftly reunite with the two players. Vigilon would note that two of his real-world friends were apparently coming, and Krysta would turn around to see two players, one who she recognized, and one who she did not recognize. She would turn to look at Astralin, and decide to tell her, "He's not wrong, they're approaching as we speak. I would be cautious with the girl, she can be a bit...wild sometimes." To Vigilon, she would say, "Certainly, that might be the best course of action as to how we begin our time in this event."

    Krysta's appearance(Description, not image...):

    Spoiler

    Krysta is currently wearing a one-piece white swimsuit. In her inventory, there is a white flowing dress that can be worn at the beach that she may equip over it, depending on the situation.

  6. Krysta would bolt for the safe zone as soon as she had the chance. The mimic would follow her, until Alanin blocked its path. The mimic snarled, aggravated that Krysta's ally was preventing it from its goal. Krysta left Alanin to the mimic, for she believed he was able to take it down, due to how much HP he still had. Krysta had no such luck, in this case. She would reach the edge of the safe zone, and enter the town of Snowfrost. Krysta would slow down, and swap her gear again, exchanging the necklace for the shield. She would need it for the future battles to come. She fell on her back due to fatigue, leaving an imprint of Krysta and her gear in the snow. After a minute or two, she would get up, and would turn around to see the imprint on the snow. It kind of looked like this imprint of snow was holding up her weapon, and her shield was held with an arm outstretched to the side, ready to raise the shield at any given notice.

    Krysta would enter the Hearth and Harrow again, and after about half an hour, she would begin to leave, and see Alanin coming in the door. "Leon!" She exclaimed. "Jewel! Oh, thank goodness you're alright! Come, your stats will surely regenerate by the time we leave the safe zone of floor 5!" Alanin responded. "Of course...but could I have a moment first? I'll see you at the teleport gate." She stated. Once Alanin left Krysta's vision, Krysta would leave the building, and look over to where her imprint was. Someone had made an addition to it. One could see that the imprint now had the outline of Krysta's hair, and the imprint had an addition that wasn't normal. The imprint now had imprints of a pair of angel wings. Krysta pulled up her menu's camera system, and took a picture. "Curious...simply curious indeed..."

  7. This was only the second time Krysta ever had to flee from a monster. She would need to find another way to handle this. She would get up, and try to flee again. However, the Mimic was prepared for that. It tripped her and attacked, causing Krysta's HP to drop to the yellow, and Alanin would arrive to try and pry the mimic off of her. "Let go of her, you devious little pest!" He would manage to pull the mimic off of Krysta, infuriating the mimic in the process. Krysta's HP was too low to risk any further combat at the moment, she needed to make for the safe zone with all due haste! "Thank you for that, Leon, I truly appreciate it!" She would then begin to get up, and she would do so quickly, as to avoid the mimic managing to escape Alanin's grip and attack again.

  8. The Mimic watched Krysta's movements. When Krysta began backing away, the Mimic prepared to make a charging attack. When Krysta bolted, The mimic would charge forward in order to improvise. Alanin managed to finish off the mimic that he was originally fighting, and realize that the other mimic wasn't there. He would look ahead to see it chasing Krysta through the snow. "No! ...You will live, Jewel...I'll stake my life on it. Over here, you pathetic excuse for a trick!" Alanin would make chase for the mimic still trying to attack Krysta. Krysta would stop when the Mimic somehow managed to get in the way, snarling at her. She would dodge to her left to avoid the mimic's attack, and she would have to think fast if she was going to get away. "I need a better way to get through this sticky situation I've gotten myself into. Now, just how do I do it?"

  9. Krysta would manage to swing the weapon with enough force for the mimic to fly off. It landed in the snow, unhindered, and leaped to attack Krysta. This creature was too unexpected to properly defend oneself against, the bosses themselves would have to do in terms of training. She would get the creature off of her, but what would she do now? If she continued to fight, this creature might actually defeat her! There was still a chance for her to win, but was the risk of dying worth it? She didn't want to fall in battle against one of these deceptive creatures... She decided that from now on, she would always carry a teleport crystal with her. For situations like this one. She looked to Alanin, who noticed what was going on. "I'll take them both on! I have a fairly good Area of Effect Sword art, so I should be able to handle these two!"

  10. Krysta saw the mimic was ready to attack. She charged her sword art, but she canceled her attack in order to block the mimic's next attack. An infuriated mimic would snarl as it held on to Krysta's Rapier. Its lid was closed, so it was more of a muffled snarl. "Argh, get off! Let go of my blade!" Krysta would begin swinging the weapon around, the mimic along with it. This swinging would continue as Alanin rolled out of the way when the mimic facing him lunged. Krysta's swinging would be in the right position and direction to whack Alanin's mimic in midair, knocking it about five yards away. The mimic facing Alanin would snarl at Krysta, then turn back towards Alanin, who was ready to strike it with another Sword Art. This mimic was already a problem, but two well-placed hits should finish it off. She just had to avoid getting struck by the mimic any further as a result.

  11. Krysta would get the mimic off of her, and attack with penetrate once again. The Mimic's HP would drop to the yellow, and the monster would approach more cautiously before attacking again. Krysta would get the creature off of her, and look over to her HP. It wasn't far from reaching yellow. Perhaps the shield had it's other uses after all... Nevertheless, she had gotten herself into this mess, and two more well-placed attacks should be able to do the trick. She would glance over to Alanin's fight, and he was faring just as well. However, he kind of stumbled, and the mimic would attempt to further damage him. "Leon!" Alanin would quickly call out, "I'm fine, you just handle the mimic in front of you! Quickly now, before it catches you off guard!" Krysta would do as was suggested, and turn back to her own fight. The mimic was preparing to cautiously make another attack.

  12. Krysta would manage to get the mimic off of her, and then she would proceed to attack it with the sword art known as Penetrate. The mimic's HP would drop by a little over a quarter, which meant that this creature was a bit like a glass cannon. Perhaps it was the same on Alanin's end? Indeed, he used a fairly strong sword art and damaged the creature, dealing a least a third of the creature's HP in damage. Was this because the mimic Alanin was facing was simply of a weaker level, or was Alanin more powerful than Krysta believed? Either way, these mimics weren't doing so well anymore. The odds were fairly even, to say the least, but it would be better off if the battle were to turn in the players' favor entirely. "I will at least put up a fight before things become dire, so you should prepare for your demise!" The mimic simply snarled and attacked in response.

  13. Krysta stopped for a moment, she would slowly move her hand toward the chest, but when the chest started to shake, Krysta's fear became reality. Krysta jumped back, and the chest would open its eye, revealing it to be a mimic. The monster would attack Krysta as she was pulling out her weapon, and this battle would begin...though not onto a good start. She looked over to Alanin, who also ended up with a mimic to fight, drawing his weapon as he sustained damage from the mimic. This was the perfect trap. These two mimics, letting themselves be covered by snow, just waiting for a traveler or two to become curious. "These creatures were clever to come up with a trap like this," Krysta began. "but they will surely regret it!" Krysta would handle her devious assailant, and Alanin would do battle with the one that deceived him.

  14. As the players neared the town, Krysta would spot something. It was a shape that was quite familiar...quite familiar indeed. She would walk over to the shape, and brush the snow off of it. Upon doing so, she would uncover the reason why the shape was so familiar. It was a chest. Krysta smiled at her discovery. "It appears that I have found a chest!" She exclaimed. Alanin would find another familiar shape more on the well-hidden side, and brush off to uncover a chest. "It appears as if I have found one, too. All we can do now is hope that these chests are not devious mimics trying to fool us." True, there was indeed the chance of there being a mimic, but for now, Krysta would focus on the positives. If either one was a mimic, they would be fought and vanquished. All Krysta could do now was pray that these weren't mimics...

    ID# 123012 LD: 15+3=18(success, found a chest!)

  15. Krysta would decide to steer clear of worrying that there was something wrong going on with Alanin, and return to a normal conversation. She would find a gemstone, and exchange it for some silk that Alanin had. She would then ask, "Leon, do you know whether or not Kimberly is in this game?" Alanin would shake his head. "No, I do not know. All I can hope, though, is that she did not end up in this game, trapped with us. If she is, however, I hope she is faring well in this accursed virtual prison." Krysta nodded. "I agree. By the way, may I ask, what do you think of her? I know that she is my friend, and that she sees both of us as her friends, too." Alanin would think for a moment, then he would give his opinion. "I first took her for someone willing to humiliate me for not being like other men, but when I learned that she was like us, I accepted her into my life wholeheartedly. I do indeed see her as a friend today."

  16. Krysta would find a plant producing tundra cotton, and she would harvest the material. Was the game changing Alanin for the better, or for the worse? He was acting so strange... His manner of speech was the same, but his demeanor...was completely different. Why? Why was he behaving this way? It was so...different. For now, she would push the matter of suspicion aside, for Alanin was her friend. "Leon...you don't have to say it in such a detailed manner...Is something wrong?" Alanin seemed to be just as semi-frantic as he was with his apology. "Ah, no, nothing is wrong, nothing at all! Oh, no, perish the thought! I don't see a single thing wrong here!" There was something wrong. In the way he presented it, he completely gave away the fact that something was clearly going on. Whatever would it be? He certainly wouldn't be willing to admit it anytime soon...

    ID# 122998 LD: 18+3=21(success, found 1 T1 material)

  17. Krysta would keep her eyes out for any further materials as she listened to Alanin's words, but she didn't seem to spot any. "Are you sure that simply destroying them all would be the best idea? I wasn't too sure of the thought myself... I mean, even if we were to kill them in-game, would that even remotely affect them in reality?" These words would trouble Alanin. "What do you mean? Surely you could better yourself by destroying the creatures that taint your mind! They are called inner demons for a reason, correct?" Should she tell him? "Erm, pardon me, but could we move on from the topic of my mind, please?" Alanin realized he was pushing the matter too far. "Oh! My sincere apologies, Jewel, I never meant to pry in too deep..." Granted, he was willing to leave the topic be, but why was he behaving this way?

    ID# 122994 LD: 10+3=13(nothing found)

  18. Krysta would see a material with alchemical properties, and pick it up. "If only I had use for this...but I intend to be a tailor." Alanin offered to help as he pulled out some leather. "Perhaps we can exchange materials, then. I have found quite a few materials during my time on these floors, and my profession is not tailor. I can give you tailor materials in exchange for any non-tailor materials you find, as long as I have some in my inventory." Krysta would accept the offer to help. "That's very kind of you, thanks." The exchange would be made, and the two players would continue on the path leading back to town. Alanin would give his response to what Krysta told him earlier. "I am certain you were able to vanquish each inner demon, banishing them all from your mind." Uh, that wasn't the route that Krysta took.

    ID# 122992 LD: 12+3=15(success, found 1 T1 Material)

  19. Krysta would unequip her shield, and equip her necklace, Andvari's Blessing, in place of it. She would continue her conversation with Alanin. "That's very kind of you to say, Leon. I have been improving myself in more than just my stats, as of late. I have been to my own mind through the Waterfall of the Sage. One can take a quest when over there...in their own mind, so to speak...or, more accurately, the Cardinal's interpretation of their own mind. Mine was interpreted in an...interesting manner..." Krysta explained. "One's own mind...? I hate to be intrusive, but did you only see those you had met in the game? Or did you see Kimberly and I?" Krysta had only one answer for this question. "Well, the answer, in fact, was neither. I wasn't there for very long, for one. I fought against my inner demons. A being of self-worthlessness, a being of insecurity, a being of terror, and a being that was my inner darkness. Each battle played out quite differently."

  20. Something was wrong. Something was very wrong. "Leon, are you all right?" Alanin nodded his head. "Yes, Jewel, I am fine." Krysta remembered more on Kimberly. "I remembered how when Kimberly grew into the same interests as us, we gave each other nicknames for about two years." Alanin nodded his head, both agreeing, and admitting it. "Kimberly came up with 'Sir Leon' for me, I came up with 'Princess Jewel' for you, and you came up with 'Duchess Kimberly' for her. We were quite the trio back then, weren't we?" Krysta remembered the occasional consequence of forming a unique group... "Yes...we were occasionally bullied because of it, weren't we? But we still stand strong, and despite their words, we would press on. We shall do so still, even if the odds are against us." Alanin smiled. "I love how positive you are for the future. It is truly a good thing."

  21. "Indeed I do. Once I have slain a few more of them, I should be at the second tier by then. I still hope to handle the rest of them, too. Perhaps we can focus on more pleasant memories as we continue on to town?" Krysta asked. "Why, of course!"  Krysta would begin. "I remember when I noticed you loved hearing all those heroic tales in my mother's books, they definitely intrigued you so much!" Alanin would recall the memory as well. "Yes...those stories always had me coming back. I truly wanted to read more of them..." Krysta giggled. "I remember when Kimberly jokingly called you a bookworm over that." Alanin strained slightly to keep a smile on his face. "Yes...Kimberly. She was one of us, though. She behaves and acts in similar manners to the two of us." Krysta looked over and saw Alanin's expression. Why was he so focused on speaking of himself and Krysta?

  22. Krysta began crying over the memory of losing Wardege. Alanin began trying to comfort her. "There now, Jewel, we can find and vanquish this Dazia together...two good friends, against the one who murdered your cousin..." Krysta wiped her tears, hoping to stop crying. "Yes...two...friends." Alanin hid his...disappointment well. "Yes...friends..." Krysta would continue her tale. "So...I set out with a new friend or two, and I intended to find Dazia...but so many times, I did not find her. There have been several events in which Dazia was there, but it was never the right time to vanquish her...The events themselves would always prevent it from being possible... Nevertheless, I traveled throughout the game, clearing quests and slaying monsters...that all eventually brought me here. I seek to reach the second tier with all due haste, since it approaches swiftly." Alanin seemed intrigued. "So...you slay these monsters, knowing they respawn, in order to train from the first-time experience gains?"

  23. Krysta would ask, "Do you mind if we spoke along the way to the fifth floor?" Alanin would chuckle and say, "I don't see any reason why not! I haven't seen you in quite a while, Jewel. Care to tell me your tale?" Krysta would oblige. "Certainly. I did what I could to begin with simple things that I would need. As I went along, I gathered some materials, and eventually was also given items for the kind deeds I did within the safe zone. I soon learned that Leif was in this game as well! We began to meet up with one another in a certain tavern to speak with one another every once in a while...but then one day, Leif stopped coming. I checked my friend list to see if he was alright, but he wasn't in it...I ran to the monument, and he was...dead, his name was crossed off of the monument! His killer...Dazia, murdered him in a full-loss duel!"

  24. Krysta would rush for the boss and attack with Accel Stub, finishing off the creature. It roared in pain and anguish once more as the glow left its eyes, and it would shatter into icicles and then into pixels. The monster was defeated. The battle was over. Krysta would look over to see how Alanin was doing. He managed to finish off the last Ice Elemental that stood in his path, and he would look over to Krysta, smiling over the fact that the battle was over. "Ha, as I expected, it stood no chance against you! The next one, the Sand Shark, will be a tougher opponent. Of course, I doubt it will still be any match for you!" Krysta would be humble about this. "Ahaha, That's nice of you, Leon, but you don't need to keep saying that. I didn't come here to show off, you know. I came here to train."

  25. Krysta would attempt to attack again, but she wouldn't manage to break the creature's icy body. However, the creature would still stumble from the impact. It began to haphazardly swing its arms around, and it would become dizzy with fatigue and fall on its back. Krysta smiled, for, in all honesty, this was a bit humorous to watch. She looked over to Alanin to see how his fight was going. He had already vanquished three out of four Ice Elementals, and there was one left. He battled it with ease. True, the common Ice Elementals were often weaker than boss monsters such as Avalanche. She looked back over to the boss. "I intend to finish this battle, and you will be destroyed along with whatever you had planned for the people of this land!" It was only a matter of time, now. She would finish this battle, and then she would move on to the next floor, and battle the next boss. The day was young, and far from over.
