  1. Krysta still looked sternly at Venorim, even though he had essentially told her that he intended to play it fair from now on. Vigilon decided it was time to head out, but then the door was blocked by someone. This mysterious player took off her hood and bandanna before speaking, and what she said basically meant that she wanted to do it herself. Kanari and Azrea didn't seem to like this at all. Krysta had her own opinion on the matter. "How do we know we can trust you? Besides, I still wish to help." This was probably going to end up nowhere. From behind, a voice said, "Having trouble, are we?" Krysta turned around and saw a woman standing there. She walked over to the pink haired player. "Why do you deny their help? Do you see them only as obstacles towards your goal, or do you wish to prove how skilled and secretive you are by doing this on your lonesome?"

  2. Krysta heard someone else offer to join, and Venorim said that the player who had just offered to join wouldn't be going without him. Was this player a member of the Platinum Force? The player scoffed, and asked if Venorim was supposed to be her babysitter or something else of the like., and said she could handle herself. Vigilon recognized her, noting that she had changed her appearance somewhat, but not her personality. Kanari asked Vigilon who the two players were, and Vigilon answered the question, giving some information about the black haired player, Azrea, as well as info on Venorim. Krysta herself hadn't really heard much about this Victor Falcon person, but from what Krysta could tell, there were definitely chances that she might encounter him in this game at some point. Venorim gestured to Azrea as he spoke of his failure, and it seemed that Venorim was tasked with keeping an eye on Azrea...but why? Krysta feared she might find out soon enough, but wouldn't want to know it. She did have a few stern words for Venorim, however. "I do hope that you've learned to not be a dishonorable thief."

  3. Krysta listened to the conversation unfold. Vigilon mentioned Auranika, the player who was at the event Nova had set up, the one with a karaoke competition. The player who's arrival was announced, said to be the leader of a Guild known as the Angelic Brigade. Kanari asked Vigilon who Auranika was, and he revealed her real world identity. It seemed that Kanari might have not exactly had the best history with this young woman. Vigilon said that he had guessed it was Akudo who was the cloaked player that spoke to Auranika, but with the proof right in front of them, it was now likely that a shady player had spoken to the young woman, probably for some ill intent. Vigilon asked if Krysta was in on the task of helping. "I wouldn't stand idly by while some shady player gets what he wants! You can count on me to assist in this task!"

  4. Fae's attempt to brighten things up for Krysta were unsuccessful, for Krysta now distrusted Fae from what Vigilon had told her some time ago. It seemed that Kanari wasn't feeling any dread whatsoever. Krysta began to wonder how on earth Kanari was so spirited, no matter the situation. A player with an orange cursor came and spoke to them, saying that they were going to arrest Wyson without even asking for his side of the story. "Three things: One, we are hunting down a mass murderer who has killed twenty-seven players. Two, even if we did ask, he would probably lie to further his advantage, and I would rather not be two steps behind this fiend. Three, how could I fully trust someone I don't know who bears the mark of the murderer; the orange cursor above his head?" A buff looking male came near, assumed the three players he was looking at weren't very strong. Krysta, honestly, had already had a few...encounters with such people back in the real world. If they weren't trying to show off for her, they were trying to find other means, such as love letters, to try and draw her towards them...it happened so much that she began to avoid them as much as possible...so naturally, she'd prefer to avoid following what this one was asking. "I'd rather stay close to my boyfriend, thank you very much." She said to the buff player as she took hold of Vigilon's left hand, and would be staying close to him as long as the buff player was around. It seemed that, from what Fae was saying, Fae wanted to befriend the murderous fiend... Oh dear...

  5. Krysta had set out to seek out a mass murderer and bring him to justice...but the trip had a rather somber mood, and was filled with dread. Thundering clouds hung in the air, and bone-chilling winds blew. From the conversations Kanari and Vigilon were having, it seemed that Vigilon was feeling a sense of dread as well. It was nice to know that Krysta wasn't the only one feeling dreadful anticipation, but this was the first time she had seen Vigilon seemingly worried with a sense of dread. Thunder rumbled overhead. There would be no peaceful calm before the storm came, that was certain. Lessa said that it might rain soon, so they should see if they could accomplish their mission before then. Vigilon asked Krysta an unusual question. "I'm afraid not...it all seems so dark and dreadful...this all seems so dark...but...maybe the light will break through in the end, and we will bring Wyson to justice."

    @Vigilon

  6. Kanari had responded to Krysta's question completely in a casual way. What she said was, "Absolutely. I'm stubborn in the face of stupid...twenty-four seven." She didn't even seem remotely concerned at all, and she was completely blunt on her answer, too. "I...I don't get how...I..." Vigilon seemed relieved to know that Krysta wasn't completely bothered by how he had handled the situation he was in. It wasn't long before another player came up to the three players. He had red hair, a red scarf, and he seemed to know Vigilon and Kanari. From what she heard, the player's name was Akudo. Akudo asked for payment on intel, so he must have been some sort of hired informant. Vigilon realized something, and then seemed worried. "Is something wrong, Alex?" What could this be? Could it be something serious, or could it be something minor? Krysta waited to hear Vigilon speak again. He might speak of the new situation.

    @Vigilon

  7. Vigilon and Krysta were approached by Arabelle and Tsu. Arabelle suggested that Vigilon and Krysta sing a duet, a cute idea, but Vigilon seemed flustered, and even asked for his opinion. "Heehee, I actually think it would be a nice idea...I actually sang once, and he decided to join in." She was about to continue when Nova came and made the announcement that the Karaoke was about to start, and she called the players involved to the stage. She then announced who would be going first...and it was Krysta. Nova came to the players and wished them luck. Krysta breathed in, and breathed out. "I'll do my best..." She made a chuckle that trailed off after saying that. She managed to come up with a song that she had once heard. She had heard it various times, as her mother had sang it during Krysta's early childhood, and Krysta occasionally sang it herself from then on. She knew what she would sing. The Voice.

    (OOC: This song should give away the singing style Krysta prefers. The voice singing the song is actually quite close to Krysta's.)

  8. -Signed up for Lessa's team

    Krysta was going about her usual business on the first floor, preparing to head out, and she was called to come to the Monument of Life. She came, all right, she just did so reluctantly. She listened to what was going on. Twenty-seven murders. Wyson. Laughing Coffin. That's all she had to hear, and her blood boiled with anguish. Justice had to be done! It must be done! She had no hesitation before she started moving towards Lessa, for Krysta would be joining her in the mission to seek out the foul fiend. Once she had reached the group, the first thing she did was walk up to Lessa. "Hello, I am Krysta. I am more than just willing to seek out this dastardly murderer and bring him to justice! I consider myself fairly good in terms of potential damage and healing, so I should be capable enough for the task." She then turned around to see her teammates. Vigilon, Hestia, a brown haired player...and two others she wasn't exactly excited to see. One of them, she used to trust, the other, she had distrusted for quite a while. She tried to focus on the positives first. "Hello again, Alex! So we'll be working together on this task. How wonderful!" She then turned towards Hestia. "Hello again, Hestia! It's nice to see you again!" She then turned towards the brown haired player. "Hello, I am Krysta. Nice to meet you!" After she had finished the introduction...then came the hesitation to continue speaking with each teammate. She slowly turned towards Fae, her smile fading. In a softer voice, she said, "Fae...I used to trust you...Vigilon told me all that he knew." As for the last teammate, she didn't exactly have any need to be soft in her voice... "You know, I am truly curious as to why a miscreant such as yourself would be willing to bring someone to justice, Outlander..." The player just so happened  to have spoken a threat to Vigilon, as well as some rude words and behavior. "You don't ever think before you speak, do you?" She said to Outlander as she crossed her arms.

  9. Kanari's response to Krysta's question left her worried. "Moral compass...let's...hope that works out..." Kanari continued, and it really caused Krysta to be worried. This player seemed very distrusting of authority, whether they were just or not. " 'Easily become corrupt'? 'Meaningless drudgery'?? 'A big mistake'??? Just...just how reckless are you???" Krysta was full of disbelief on how reckless this player seemed. Vigilon then spoke to Krysta about something he had been needing to tell her. He spoke of a meet-up with villainous players, and how he intended to gather information in guise as one of their sort. A clever method that Krysta not only didn't think could be a possible solution, but wouldn't have the courage to do so herself. She couldn't even act close to their sort, so she wouldn't have been up for the task either way. She would have been one of the party crashers instead. He also shared what he knew of this dastardly bunch, and the members he'd seen, including... "W-what!?!?" She couldn't believe it. She had seen Fae at two events, and both times she had seemed like the sweet, innocent child... Was it all merely a ploy? Or did she snap under the game's pressure and influence? Vigilon was hoping Krysta wouldn't be upset with him. "Alex...you had the acting, the disguise, the purpose, and the courage to do that for the greater good. I might have had other methods of handling the situation, but what matters is that you did it for the greater good, and that you were honest about it."

    @Vigilon

  10. Amelia reintroduced herself as Kanari Kakaze, "Freedom Typhoon". She and Vigilon then discussed the whole title thing for a bit. There was only one thing that confused Krysta, however. "Um...exempt? As in, free from all obligations and just law? Isn't lawless behavior something that we don't practice, especially in this game or the real world?" Vigilon explained his reason for the potion. Apparently he was "Finding himself", trying to figure out several things, some were...actually a bit obvious, although it may have just been him trying to dig deeper into that, which Krysta could understand. One thing was a complete riddle. "Go find the Dragon." "The Dragon? Well, I don't know of any non-familiar dragons that are benevolent, but should they exist, could one of them be your next hint, riddle or the like? Hopefully the answers you seek!" Maybe they should speak with Mitria. She might know of a benevolent dragon somewhere.

    @Vigilon

  11. Krysta didn't know what she was going to do. She couldn't aim properly without having her eyes open, but whenever her eyes were open, she saw the horrifying beast. She couldn't just stand there with her knees knocking, she had to do something! She closed her eyes again, and attempted to attack using the Sword Art known as Crucifixion. It went just as well as last time, meaning, she missed again. Arakkia managed to get her stinger out of the wall, then she turned around and slashed her claw towards Krysta, dealing some minor damage. Krysta looked to her HP. The damage...actually wasn't that bad. From the looks of things, the worst thing about Arakkia was her appearance. Krysta just had to get over this little problem, even if it was only temporarily, and victory just might be assured. It's not like she would willingly fight such a horrible monster again, though.

  12. Krysta had followed Vigilon and who just so happened to be a real world friend of his, through the sixth floor, and over to a restaurant within the eleventh floor. Perhaps it would be best to get to know this friend of his, and possibly try learning more about her boyfriend via conversation. "So, Amelia, may I ask what your username is?" The potion that the the NPC known as Scilla had made for Vigilon was said to make certain things clearer. The only question was, what was Vigilon trying to make clear? "Alex, may I know what has been happening lately? If that potion truly is meant for making certain things crystal clear, what is it you're trying to solve?" The questions kept coming to her. However, Krysta believed she would understand the situation in due time...eventually, but she didn't know when. Yolviinsil remained near Krysta, shyly curled up, her wings in front of her head.

    @Vigilon

  13. Vigilon opened the chest, and found some minor loot inside. He gave half to Krysta, then suggested that they return to Nimbus, taking the Lute with them as well, since there may be someone looking for it. Perhaps whoever the Lute was taken from could answer the confusing questions. It was a bit of a trip, but once they had finally returned to the safe zone, Krysta saw someone looking down in the dumps, sitting on a stone bench. "Excuse me, is something the matter?" The NPC looked up at Krysta. "Indeed, lass. Just a day ago, I was out on the road, playing music for travelers, when a Wyvern descended upon me. I began to run, and I had my Lute over my head. Suddenly, I was above the ground. The beast had grabbed the lute, and was carrying me with it. I had to let go before the beast could get any higher in it's flight, but I'd lost my instrument..." A lute... "A lute? You mean like this one?" Krysta inquired as she pulled the instrument out of her inventory. "That's...that's my lute! I don't know how you got it from the creature, but thank you very much!" Krysta began to think out loud. "So it appeared during song on that time, too...maybe it did merely want music after all..." "I beg your pardon? It just wanted the music? Well, others have told me about a Wyvern that was spreading it's poisons and rampaging around every now and then...maybe it was just upset that it didn't get what it wanted? I have heard Wyverns aren't the most intelligent of creatures..." The lute was returned, and Krysta had all she needed to know. "Well, Alex? where to now?"

    @Vigilon

  14. Vigilon suggested that they continue up the mountain in hopes of possibly finding answers to the confusing questions. He also offered to give half of the col looted from the Wyvern to Krysta. "I...I'll take it." They headed up the mountain, and soon spotted a cave. She began to look within the one-room cave, hoping to find something. It wasn't one of those caves that had a small entrance and a dark interior, but it seemed like a round hollow in the stone, with a large semicircle opening, large enough for light to be in all areas of the cave, excluding the dark corners behind the stone walls around the entrance. She saw two things: a Bard's Lute, and a chest. "Alex, I think I've found a chest, and what might be a possible answer!" She ran over to the Lute. It looked like it had been gripped with sharp claws, but it was probably still playable.

  15. What could this creature be gesturing? Why was it gesturing? What did it want? Did it's intentions change because it was defeated? Vigilon thought about it, then had essentially revealed the closest thought he had aloud as he dismissed it. The Wyvern didn't like the protector's tone of voice, for it seemed negative, not to mention he still hated the protector in general. He snapped his maw on the protector's arm, and growled at him, as he used his right wing to gesture for him to back off. Krysta pointed her rapier towards the Wyvern, and in response, it stopped growling. The Wyvern was pretty ticked off at his humiliating defeat, and imminent death, but if he was to have one last shot, he wasn't going to mess this up on purpose. He gestured the same way that had caused the confusion, hoping the girl would understand. Krysta looked into the Wyvern's eyes. It had appeared to her once she sang, and Vigilon was assuming it was something else, believing that asking a favor from someone who just got you killed wouldn't make sense at all...unless it was only defending itself from an attack. "Only one way to find out. The status ailment will finish it off anyway, so I guess I'll give it a try." She began to sing, and the Wyvern calmed down, closed it's eyes rather peacefully, and then it shattered. "...So it only wished to hear me sing? I don't get it...and why was it rampaging before?"

  16. To the Wyvern, death was imminent. It was only a matter of time. He was immobilized again, and he was absolutely helpless. Krysta stood before the monster. "Fall to me, foul beast!" She then attacked the Wyvern with the Sword Art known as Crucifixion one more time, and it's HP dropped so low, that it's status ailment would finish it off if Vigilon did nothing more. The Wyvern was doomed. There was nothing else he could do. If he could try...just one more time... The Wyvern looked at the girl, wondering what he should do now before he died. He brought one of his wings to his maw, folded, and he unfolded it as he moved it towards the air as his maw opened. He was actually hoping this gesture could communicate this final wish he had. Krysta was left completely confused. She lowered her weapon. "Um...what does it want? It seems to be gesturing something..."

  17. The Wyvern, once again, felt that he needed to force the girl into submission. Of course, before he could get the chance to do so, he was struck again by the protector. he was wounded and unable to move. This protector was becoming more and more aggravating. He couldn't do anything, he was helpless. He was getting close to death, all because a girl wouldn't come with him willingly, and her protector wanted him dead. All this in a desperate attempt to have a voice for his own... Krysta had to agree with Vigilon. "It seems that we are fortunate in this fight. Victory might as well be assured. Now, it's time to vanquish this awful beast!" Krysta rushed for the Wyvern to strike with Crucifixion once more, but it seemed that the paralysis wore off sooner, for it managed to move enough towards the right to avoid the attack. If the Wyvern could speak, knowing there was no escape from fighting, he could have made one last try with the girl by saying, "If you truly wish to end me, I have one final wish: sing for me." Of course, he couldn't speak. Well, he couldn't speak English, that is.

  18. The Wyvern's attention was brought back to the girl's protector once he was struck with a stunning blow. He glared at Vigilon as he spoke. Sure, he wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but if there was one thing that could aggravate him, it was calling him an idiot. This protector seemed to be doing what only came naturally, but if the Wyvern was to claim a voice for his own, this protector would need to be out of the way. It also seemed that this protector had a small dragon for a pet. The Wyvern didn't care if the protector fought for a noble cause, for it only did as it wished. It always loved music, but he could never have it, for those who had it would always attack him or run, and thus he took out his anguish every now and then by laying waste to the land. This was no different. Krysta was ready to try attacking again. At the rate they were going, they should defeat the monster in time before it can do any real damage. Krysta rushed for the Wyvern and attacked with Crucifixion once again, but striking it hard enough to regain the monster's attention.

  19. Krysta began to back away as the Wyvern moved towards her, when Vigilon came between them. The Wyvern did not like this at all, nor did he appreciate the attempted attack. So the girl with the voice had someone protecting her. If he was to get his claws on her, he would have to eliminate the protector first. He would claim a voice as his own today. He wanted that voice, to hear it every day. He wasn't going to let some protector get in his way. "Kyraaaaasssshhhh!!!!" The Wyvern bared it's fangs, and attempted to bite Vigilon, but he was swifter than the Wyvern had anticipated. Krysta drew her rapier, and took her usual justified battle stance. "Foul creature, your demise is at hand!" She rushed for the monster, and attacked with Crucifixion, dealing a bit of damage. The Wyvern looked her in the eyes, and saw that she was now upset, rather than scared. He guessed that by attacking her protector, he'd angered her. Pity, he didn't want to have to bring terrible, fatal harm to the girl, but he would force her into submission if need be.

  20. "I sure hope it's the latter..." Krysta honestly didn't like the idea of having possibly gone the wrong way, even though it was definitely possible. Vigilon asked if Krysta didn't mind if he played a song crystal, and that it might possibly encourage them. "I don't mind, let's see what it has to offer!" A song began to play, and it seemed to only be one verse. it did seem like one of those songs with deep meaning, perhaps Krysta might be able to try and sing it. She gave it some thought for a few minutes, then she breathed in, then out, and started to sing.

    "In the white light, a hand reaches through, a double edged blade cuts your heart in two.

    Waking dreams fade away, embrace the brand new day.

    Sing with me a song of birthrights and love, the light scatters to the sky above.

    Dawn breaks through the gloom, white as a bone, lost in thoughts, all alone."

    Meanwhile, close to the mountain's summit, a wyvern was having a short rest. He awakened to the sound of music. He loved music... He flew out of his cave, hearing silence for a minute or two, then he heard another voice begin to sing. Such a voice...he couldn't resist. He came down suddenly, staring at Krysta, and startling her, too. He was sure the voice had come from her...

  21. Krysta blushed slightly when Vigilon considered her course of action genius. "Well, I- I don't know about genius, but...oh, you're really sweet, Alex... Just to be safe, though, I think we should walk alongside the trail, rather than on it. I'd hate to get poisoned while I was traveling..." The players traveled for a short time, and while they were passing through the forest as they followed the wyvern's trail of destruction, Krysta thought she saw something to the side. She decided to take a look. She found a cotton plant about two yards from the trail, and walked over to collect the material. Thankfully, the material was on the players' side of the trail, meaning Krysta didn't have to risk getting poisoned by crossing it. Soon after she had found and collected the material, she found herself at the end of the trail, fairly close to a mountain. "Well, I believe this is one end of the trail..."

  22. "I see what you mean. It may have swooped down to catch an animal or a monster once or twice. Vigilon seemed to be thinking considerably hard, for it took him some time to come up with two suggestions. "Provoking it and challenging it would seem equally hard, but the task can be accomplished. I'm sorry that I couldn't come up with any thoughts to give, but at least we can still continue to think about that as we begin our search." And then Krysta began to walk towards the edge of the safe zone, which, actually wasn't far off at all. Before long, they would be on the road. Krysta spotted patches of brown in the grass, and there was one thing she remembered from what the NPC said, it spreads it's poisons all over, killing the plants and tainting the land. "If we follow the areas that were poisoned, we might have a good chance at finding the wyvern. The NPC did tell me that it was spreading it's poisons all around..."

    @Vigilon

  23. Vigilon had a point, Krysta didn't know how she would get the creature to come down. This was a settlement, so maybe she should ask someone? "Well...I...ah...oh!" She spotted an NPC, and walked over. "Excuse me, but, I heard there was a wyvern spotted somewhere. Do you know any ways to have it come down?" "Well, Wyverns are often less intelligent than their mightier cousins, the dragons, so it is a mystery as to why one would keep to the skies, despite that it spreads it's poisons all over, killing the plants and tainting the land. Since they are more beastlike, there is sure to be something simple that might attract it." Krysta nodded her head in appreciation. "Alright, thank you for the info!" She walked back to Vigilon. "It seems that wyverns aren't as intelligent as dragons, so it might be something simple that will have it come down. I don't know what it would consider a proper challenge, but one suggestion was to attract it with something."

  24. Krysta was in Nimbus, wondering what she was going to do next. She had the whole day ahead of her, and yet, nothing specific to do, other than deal with a Wyvern that had been spotted somewhere in this floor. She had heard that it was causing some trouble around the floor, staying in the air, and only landing upon whatever it considered a proper challenge. How would she summon the beast to fight it? Was she enough to strike it down? Such questions began to bother her, and unless someone could help her, she wasn't going to seek out a Wyvern anytime soon. "*sigh*, There is no way that I can handle the beast on my own...could there be someone I can ask for the assistance of? What do you think, Yolviinsil?" The small ruby red feathered dragon looked at Krysta, with a look of uncertainty in her eyes. Krysta then spotted someone familiar, and decided to ask him. "Hey! Alex! It's so wonderful to see you again! I hear that there is a Wyvern causing trouble around the floor, and won't land to fight without seeing what it considers a proper challenge. Maybe we could seek it out and strike it down together?"

  25. I did the test for my character, and I got Neutral Good. When I took a look at the details of the results, I could see how it lined up with my character. Honestly, I believe Krysta is a mix between Lawful and Neutral Good. She fights for justice, opposes Evil in so many forms, even though she has encountered a few mobs she was reluctant to fight.

    Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment because when it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.
