  1. There was no turning back, was there? She was here now, and now she must fight for not only her life, but the lives of the others around her. The welfare of many depended on the result of this battle, so she intended to win it. To do so, she will need to play her part and make sure everyone makes it out alive. The duty of Support had the chance to become a heavy, burdensome yoke, but that would depend on the actions the players took. As the malicious Wyrm loomed overhead, looking upon the players as though they were mere pests, a fierce, imminent battle about to begin,
  2. From one dangerous scenario to another. The fact that the day of the raid was upon the players was enough, there was no necessity for a guild to conspire against their fellow players...but at least the matter was settled before it could become disastrous. Now that the conspirators had been dealt with, it was time to return to the purpose of this trip, to assist in the raid, so that the battle would end in victory. She followed after Vigilon who at this point was hastily making his way over to the others. Krysta could only hope that neither of the two were too late, but
  3. Krysta had a duty, and she intended to see it through. The day of the raid had come, and Krysta was already on her way. Vigilon had notified her some time ago that he would cover for consumables, at least for what he could afford. Regardless, Krysta wanted to gather her own preparations, especially for the roles she would primarily be utilizing in the coming battle. Despite her intentions, this was actually her fist time within this floor. She had yet to memorize the settlement's layout, so it took her some time to reach the edge of the safe zone...whe
  4. Raid preparation was always a frenzy. This time, not only was she aware of a coming raid, she knew that she would be directly involved. If she wanted to keep everyone alive, she would need to be prepared for what was to come. Preparing for emergency recovery would be a wise decision in such a hostile world as Aincrad. So, despite Vigilon's claim that he would be handling the consumables, Krysta chose to stock up on a certain consumable anyway. Entering the shop of Cintamani, she would seek out Mass Healing Crystals, before bringing ten of them to the

  6. Freyd arrived at the shop, appearing to be splattered by the remnants of battle(which, oddly, hardly ever show up due to how entities within the game shatter, and thus it was likely he had drudged through the hive itself during his battle). He complimented Krysta's taste in interior decor, then placed two items upon the counter for fusion, as well as the necessary materials to make the fusion into the desired product. "Fine by me, I shall get to it at once." She replied. Fusions:
  7. Krysta had her right where she should have been. She did not care for the fact that the invitation to her services was rescinded, as Krysta would not prefer to spend her time and money haggling with this individual in a war of words, that couldn't possibly be a pleasant experience in business anyway. She handed over the weapon, and hoped that whoever would purchase this next wouldn't be financially left up a creek. Perhaps there was someone out there who could remind her what ethical business was... Regardless, the trade was made, an over and done deal. Vigilon then asked
  8. Oh. Oh. Oh, this woman was a shrewd trader. Did she seriously believe she could pull off the "buy cheap, sell high" tactic? Well, she was negotiating with the wrong woman. Krysta tried to suppress it at first, but in the end she found herself laughing at this absurdity. Krysta was kind, but not naive. "Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!" The woman gave her reasoning for the price she decided on, but it just did not do her any luck. As charismatic and charming as this woman may be/believe herself to be, it was not en
  9. Krysta was not expecting the sword she had offered to be asked about in the way it was. A woman had approached Krysta, asking her if it was for sale. Krysta blinked, she wasn't anticipating someone would ask to buy it. Of course, she was willing to part with the weapon in this manner anyway, since she'd intended to pass it on due to having a weapon she preferred to use instead. "I suppose I could part with the blade in this manner, since no one attending the raid has offered to receive it." She decided. Now all that would be left, since this was now a business deal,

  11. [Day 23] [7/31/2023] In all honesty, Krysta never expected she'd need to craft a whip before. Regardless, an order was an order, even if it seemed rather unorthodox to Krysta. "Certainly. I shall notify you when your equipment is ready." She replied with a smile. It took more time than expected, but due to the fact that this was Krysta's first time making a whip, it should have been expected that Krysta's attempts would come out as lesser quality components that were better off for fusion. Surely there was a way to create items and equipment more efficiently? Reg
  12. -Krysta would receive the box containing the item she needed, and then open it up to reveal...a Tiara. Perhaps, given the track record of Krysta herself, as well as how others saw her, not to mention the truth of her identity and how even the Cardinal knew, she should have expected this to be the resulting item. It was a lovely tiara, though. Krysta placed a sack full of the necessary col for the purchase, then equipped the tiara. It was a perfect fit, and it seemed to suit Krysta surprisingly well. Perhaps the fantasy aspects of the game might be able to hide the
  13. Krysta had been needing to have a fitting item for herself, but for the time being, with the coming battle being an imminent, looming threat, she would need an item that would benefit her for the raid, as well as other battles in the near future. She needed to be ready for what Aincrad had in store for her. There was much to do and time was of the essence, so she was now here in the first floor, searching for an artisan who could assist her in this endeavor. She would find herself entering the Evening Star once again, but rather than making a purchase from stock, she wou
  14. It would seem that there was some mild madness to the man's methods, as apparently usual. Krysta had only worked alongside Freyd once, and she still had trouble understanding him. He trusted Hirru to quite the degree, and as the conversation went on, he decided his sketch was obsolete, an excess of thought driven by "occupational hazard." Krysta had never heard such a term in her days. Vigilon also seemed to have a lack of understanding towards the enigmatic player. As Krysta would have positive feedback for Jomei, Vigilon would be in agreement with another pla
  15. The trip here was done solely because Vigilon had notified Krysta of this meeting. Aside from the first floor's sights, Krysta had yet to see a flyer anywhere. She may have arrived a few minutes later than Vigilon, but she was still willing to attend and assist wherever necessary. What Krysta was not expecting, was for the meeting location to be as extravagant as it was. As she entered the structure and looked around herself as she took her time walking down the glass steps, whoever had ownership of this place may have been fond of great wealth, even if it was only in an
  16. Once Krysta knew what she needed to do next, an armored individual would arrive to the scene, their yellow cursor turning red. "You there! Your assault ends now!" They declared, pointing their double bladed axe towards Krysta. Krysta would ready her weapon, expecting this foe to be yet another hireling. Krysta's sword art nearly failed to damage the enemy, but Krysta wasn't expecting <<Knightmare>> to appear above their HP. "What is the meaning of this?" Krysta thought. "Is this an entity of the floor I have yet to see? Were they brought forth from another flo
  17. "Just a little more!" Krysta thought aloud. She readied her sword art, Celestial Sweep, yet another time, and with the hit she dealt, the main cannon stopped moving, and appeared to be shutting down. The loot menu would appear in front of her, but then that familiar, dangerous heat would be felt around Krysta, as well as a noise that suggested the weapon was still trying to charge. This could only mean one thing. It was time to clear the area and give the entity she defeated a considerably wide berth. No longer than four seconds after she'd distanced herself from the weapo
  18. Ellyria was becoming furious. Not entirely at Krysta, and certainly not her subordinates. No, she was irritated by how feeble this weapon's defenses were. This was a glaring weakness, and the sum that Ellyria and her guild had paid was a hefty one. Regardless of whether there will be victory or defeat, she would need to have a few words with that fool who negotiated the prices with her... Vulban was more than simply concerned at this point. He may have been succeeding in firing at Krysta thus far, but the advantage had remained Krysta's. He growled with futile rage as he watche
  19. Vulban couldn't let this keep up, the Main Cannon had already taken far more than enough damage. "Ethan, get up, I'll be manning the cannon controls now, I can't let that blonde cripple our ship's main weapon! If she breaks it, The Bardiche little more than a modified common airship made from military grade material topped with scrap." He ordered. The NPC got up from the seat where the cannon's controls were, and Captain Vulban took his place. "Alright, you little girl, it's time we stopped messing about, shall we?" He remarked, not that Krysta could hear.
  20. To say that things have turned in Krysta's favor would be an understatement. The princess was winning this battle against an NPC controlled machine. The NPC working with the weapon's controls, had signs of stress on his expression, over how he wasn't managing to stop one individual. Ellyria was silent, but clearly peeved about this whole situation. Vulban slammed his fist down on the controls twice, in confusion and aggravation. "How?? How is our ship's main cannon losing to a blonde with a sword?? It makes no! Damn! Sense!" He uttered out, slamming his fist three
  21. Krysta saw an icon for a positive status. Her most powerful Sword Art was available. She took position to activate it, and her weapon glowed, more intensely than with other sword arts. "That Glow!" Ellyria observed. "Someone, stop her now!" Captain Vulban wasted no time in issuing the order for his subordinate. "Fire! Now!" Krysta managed to jump over, resulting in a near miss for the cannonball, but it did not stop the momentum Krysta had for her sword art. She leapt once more, as she set her sword art in motion. "Lumina Majestica!"
  22. Krysta charged up her sword art once more, and decided to try striking a different spot of the cannon. Her weapon would shine with holy energy as she swung it to strike her target, and that energy burst when she made the hit, and the cannon's HP would receive damage. For those within the control room who had smiles on their faces, those smiles faded immediately. Ellyria's eyes widened when she saw that the cannon's HP was no longer full. "Did she just damage the Main Cannon?!?" She exclaimed. Captain Vulban was utterly shocked at the result of Krysta's latest attack. "Oh, shit..."
  23. Krysta would then ready her blade to attempt a sword art. Her attack would clang against the cannon, but an HP Bar appeared instead of the expected <<Immortal Object>>. The Cannon could be destroyed, the damage potential of The Bardiche could be crippled...now she just needed to figure out where she would need to strike in order to deal damage. The two NPCs stared at Krysta as if she was being stupid. "Did she just..." "Swing her sword at the cannon...?" Ellyria looked closely at th
  24. Ellyria watched this unfold, but she still had a wary expression on her face. Being a player herself, she knew how some players might think, or how they might act. This obvious critical hit was probably a result of the element of surprise. Now that Krysta knows the cannon can fire more than just a blast of energy, she's more likely to be on her toes in terms of taking action. Granted, it's possible she might reevaluate her options, but for now, Ellyria will be on the assumption that Krysta will continue her assault, regardless of which direction she takes. Krysta rolled the ca
