“Didn’t know the great ‘Guardian of Aincrad’ was such a little bitch,” Oscar said quickly. His words were sharp, but his tone was not. Oscar never shied away from speaking his mind. Especially when someone was getting in their own way. He always thought that what he had with Cordelia was beautiful and a once-in-a-lifetime thing. But that was his lifetime. Oscar knew that every single person could have their once-in-a-lifetime. He also knew that sometimes, people just needed a little push. And in the absence of any liquid courage, he had no problem being that. He let out a groan, running h

Oscar breathed out a laugh as her lips caressed his cheek. A swing and a miss. He couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed as she pulled back, her eyes searching his. It was a bit disappointing, really. And it felt a bit keener as she - from where he was standing - did her best to console him. He took it that way, at least at first. And he wanted to tell her that those efforts weren't necessary. But he didn't. As Lessa had pointed out, he kept it straight with her. He realized as she finished speaking that this was her doing the same. “At least we can both agree we're hot,” Oscar said wi

Between all of his obligations, it was a wonder that Oscar had the time to devote himself to such pursuits. The Orphanage, his shop, any social calls one of his many confidants required of him. It was a wonder he had time to sleep. Much less check in on someone with an odd fashion sense. Maybe I should hire a secretary, he wondered as he walked from his comfortable, tucked-away section of the Town of Beginnings towards the central square. It was unusual for him to simply take a stroll through the town. He kept the NPC merchants paid with how liberally he used Teleportation Crystals to sha

The shop had become something of a bustling enterprise as of late. Ever since Oscar had ceased charging for food, it seemed as if every evening was spent serving the entirety of the entirety of Aincrad. Every seat was packed at dinner time. The cacophony of voices filled the air, the din heard plainly over the chaos that was Oscar's kitchen. The man looked out of place. Dressed more as a butler than a cook at a diner. But it was all part of the experience. His patrons found it a source of endless entertainment to watch a man in slacks and a dress shirt toiling away over a grill. They took bets

[Clash Of Blades Season 1] Week 4: Oscar v Morningstar

It was a weird place to have a tournament indeed. Everyone seemed to be chanting some strange entity's name. There were even dark-robed cultists in the front row of the arena. Which was weird, because didn't cultists tend to go to dark and dreary places? Why would they be standing out in a sun-lit meadow? Oscar looked around, taking in the scenery and enjoying the way the flowers swayed in the breeze all around them. It was nice, but it didn't fit the motif. If Oscar and Morningstar fought too hard, wouldn't the flowers be damaged? There was a crack of thunder and the scene shifted. Dark -
