[Clash Of Blades Season 1] Week 4: Katoka vs NIGHT
NIGHT replied to Kindling's topic in Player Vs Player
talkative! talkative, talkative, talkative -- this was exactly night's problem with everyone else in the middle of a fight. but when it was just them, one on one, night had to listen. almost forced to, against the droning of an uncaring, omnipotent eternity, but this time, she wasn't sure where the rage was coming from. at being wrong? night had completely disregarded the gathering after the labyrinth boss with wushen defeated. the exhaustion from beating down that dragon had taken its toll, never mind the solo effort with the golem. and, past that, had she actually remembered the attende -

NIGHT replied to Kindling's topic in Player Vs Player
night felt her eye twitch. their blades had parried, and night redirected the art meant for her assailing somewhere else. but neither did she tear her gaze away to look where it'd went. the flush on kat was telling -- night continued to size her up still, gritting her teeth. "sorry?" and now she was in too deep to realize she wasn't supposed to be listening to psychological warfare. where was she to start? that this wasn't the time and place for a nice date? night angled her blade ahead of herself once more, trying not to avert her sights -- a difficult task for someone so anxious. i -
[Clash Of Blades Season 1] Week 4: Katoka vs NIGHT
NIGHT replied to Kindling's topic in Player Vs Player
"-- you weren't paying attention to me?" night spoke those words aloud, blank. still wary about the lord in the background, she hadn't even considered kat was someone who was interested in talking mid-fight. should she be familiar with that? they'd gone hunting, once. night remembered little from it, beyond needing the items for the floor boss. with mina, she'd already known to be aware of the chatter. not so much with kat. night flipped her blade. "you're going to lose if you..." ... ? suddenly, a little too late, she put the pieces together. ... -
[Clash Of Blades Season 1] Week 4: Katoka vs NIGHT
NIGHT replied to Kindling's topic in Player Vs Player
night kept her sights trained on katoka as she pointed to emrakul. "unless you mean them, i think the creepy crawlies are the least of our problems... but i'd rather be anywhere else too." then, she stammered, bracing herself for the fight. "uh, no offence, emrakul." she thought the lord took offense anyway, with the edges of the world going hazy. still, as the bell tolled, night swayed not from her objective. her greatsword was flipped pommel-first as she darted towards the other swordswoman, allowing the weight of the new blade to trail behind her, that darkened steel that feigned as ge -

| NIGHT | Lv. 154 >> P. 120, Lv. 34 | Status: HAHAHAHAHA WHAT IS THAT Notes: sheet found [here]. where were they? f29? there was a hum in the air as though to introduce their new sponsor... host... er... predator... the moment night entered the arena. there wasn't an audience present, save emrakul, and maybe the kindling and minako both. which left a curious notion towards why they each thought this was an ideal fighting grounds for their tournament thus far. if anything, she closed her eyes to wave at the lord. a s -

"any composition?" night asked on the way forward. "i was hoping it was at least edible. i hope all your ice creams aren't of the same combustible energy -- save the flavour in your mouth, of course. i don't doubt they'd be tasty, coming from you." one lion would've afforded her all that she was looking for. convenient, then, that they simply stumbled upon the singular threat on the way to ice cream. night did wonder if she should be making the call to go hunting for it after the skirmish -- a more sensible voice in her head merely suggested they go to oscar's for a better bite thereafter

so that was the point. (the revelation, once it came to light, would eat at her slowly despite her consciously unaware.) she watched as hirru pull out the cloak that resembled very much like the game master's, and was certain half the reason that she hadn't flinched was because of its subdued colors in the cool ambience of the moonlight. the faded gold trim was the other half, likely, and night listened as her friend spoke. watched his digits curl around the robe, that monstrous thing, a figment of their haunting memory made real like a threat -- a reminder, to other players, that w

[PP-F27] The Mysterious Divide, Part I: Dagan
NIGHT replied to Morningstar's topic in Intermediate Floors
"no way." this was becoming more involved than what how she remembered it had gone in the past. still, she wasn't too sure about the size of the boulder being a comfortable obstacle for the npcs to lift. before she could protest, however, night decided the best thing for them to do was to get in the cave than to be locked out by biding their time arguing about the right methods, so that's what she did, safe or otherwise. at the very least, she had done this before, and where star would get stuck at, she'd be able to haul him out -- and through. only once they were both past the rockf -
it was likely due to the amount of time he'd already spent airborne that left him silent on the fall. but night's head still snapped towards sorun once he announced his position, holding up his axe. night but casually picked up her blade and swung it over her shoulder, choosing to meet him halfway after a slow gait. she shrugged off the hood once she was sure the winds had finally calmed. "'unusual' enough," was her answer, after mulling over the options for a time, fingers to her chin. her gaze went towards the direction they entered the bowel from, trying to imagine how she'd get out. c

[Clash Of Blades Season 1] Week 3: NIGHT vs Tricolor_Mina
NIGHT replied to Kindling's topic in Player Vs Player
moving much was likely in poor taste. through the bumps in the sand, night could spot a couple of mines nearby; well hidden, had it not been the shifting winds and the angle she'd spot them from. she wondered if mina had been able to catch sight of the few littered around from her position, before they'd both moved. "fun to watch?" night's gaze fell back upon mina, brow arched, looking down at the fighter resist cardinal's hold. "is it really that fun to watch someone struggle in the ring? -- don't tell me you're into this sort of thing." it was only a moment after that night remembe -

like a true coliseum fighter. from her stretching to her quip, night simply nodded, twirling cosmic devourer in her hand in parallel. this seemed like a straightforward fight to the player; no daggers? no problem. though she wasn't sure how much enjoyment she got from being free of her triggers, night shot her opponent a sideways glance. "depends on what you mean by fun." so she launched herself at the call of the bell. from under the hood, night couldn't see well, and with the mines buried under the sand, it was more than likely she was meant to trip over something on the way over. the b
