  1. Koga regarded the new customer with...indifference as he gave the man his usual greeting in his best customer service voice. Koga was tired, this guy was clearly new which meant little to no money, and Koga had kinda made it a rule that newbies get their first set of gear free. So, there wasn't much interest beyond getting all this done as quickly as possible. Which, usually was not very quick in Koga's case. Koga listened as the new guy explained his order before nodding. "Yeah, no problem. Gimme a bit and I'll have 'em ready for you." 'Just pray I'm not talking outta my ass, kid,'
  2. "H-hey, musubi is great, okay!" Koga watched helplessly as NIGHT was handed a myriad of these things he'd heard of only in myth and legend....vegetables..."Okami eats better than I do! I get him fucking steaks and racks of ribs! The mutt eats better than I do!" Okami snickered in affirmation of the statement. "How exactly have you been eating this whole time...?" "Uhm...I kinda just...don't?" Koga said with an awkward smile. "It's not like we have to eat in here, and I just eat whenever I want something tasty! Besides, you know Yukiro eats me out of house and home on a daily basis!"
  3. As Koga opened the door he was greeted by a complete stranger...which was to be expected when you put out a public invitation to your house, but nonetheless, Koga was still a little bit unprepared. Still, he put on his usual demeanor when meeting knew people and greeted the man. "Hi, welcome. Not early at all, actually you're...exactly on time. Nice to meet you, I'm Koga," he said to the...tightly adorned man. "So uh, I know we just met, but am I allowed to make gigolo jokes?" he replied as he ushered the man in just as a vaguely familiar voice called out his name. @Oji A pink-haired woma
  4. The singular glance from NIGHT had Koga stopped in his tracks, ready to turn and run like he was facing an angry, carnivorous predator looking at their next meal. And not in the sexy way. In the murder-y way. It didn't seem that DAY noticed, however, as she happily greeted the player and his familiar, kneeling down and petting the canine affectionately. Koga and NIGHT, for their part, held a deadly staring contest for what felt like ages until NIGHT apparently decided to forgive whatever slight Koga had inflicted against her. "Me neither," Koga replied cautiously as he took careful steps
  5. The market was had a healthy amount of people in it today. Busy, but not quite too busy. People milled back and forth between stalls, with enough room to not bump into each other, but still occupy the vendors, and ensure they would be putting break upon their tables tonight. Even still, Koga made an effort to not draw much attention to himself, not entirely interested in making new acquaintances tonight. What the man really needed was oyster sauce, a surprisingly difficult thing to find for whatever reason. Koga had yet to find someone who consistently sold the product, so he wandered up

  9. k o g a Koga's House, 5:59pm Koga flew around the kitchen, doing his best to make sure nothing burned, bubbled, or boiled over and ultimately trying to avoid causing a mess that he wouldn't be able to clean in time. Sadly for him, not only was Yukiro an atrocious chef, he was also nowhere to be found! Koga hadn't the slightest idea where the man was, so the man was not able to help poor Koga's frantic predicament. Okami, for his part, did his best to help his owner for once...which meant staying well out of the man's way as he shoved a 42 lb turducken into th
  10. Koga was surprised when another figure sat down across from him and spoke his name. Normally as soon as Koga would have recognized the voice, he would have broken out into a grin, but not today. "You too, huh?" Koga asked as he pushed his leaf aside. "Long time, no see Alky. Stayin' outta trouble?" Koga finally asked, giving the man a half-decent greeting. Given the look on his face though, Koga was willing to venture the man had not managed to stay out of the odd spot of danger or two. The pair didn't quite seem to have a knack for that. "What're you doin' here on 20?" the swordsman aske
  11. If it weren't for the STS, Ghost's rapid fire signing would have been lost on Koga. Mercifully for the both of them though, it was functioning just fine, and the smile that crept onto Ghost's face shone for the briefest moment. "Familiar's are nice, for sure," Koga said with nod, reaching down to pat the Wolf on head. "This dumb ass though, he lives just to make life difficult for me though." Okami began to chuff in what could only be compared to snicker. He knew exactly what he was doing usually, and loved getting a rise out of his owner. "If you're goin' after the Boulder quest, I'm gue
  12. k o g a the elder wolf Floor 20, home of game to hunt, flora to gather and eat, and GIANT FUCKING BUGS. Why in the hell did bugs exist. Normal bugs were bad enough, but giant ones? And Koga had thought the Wasp Queen and her soldiers had been the end of it all. And yet, here he was doing...something. Why was Koga on Floor 20 again? Oh yeah, he'd heard that the food here was exotic. Good, but exotic. Now if he had known that 'exotic' meant 'food made from bugs' he would have instead burnt all the restaurants on this floor to the grou
  13. "Don't worry too much about how awkward or not you'll, just focus on fighting. I'll be there to tank the damage for you, I just want you to get acquainted with the combat systems," Koga replied as the walked, "The rest, well, I'll leave it up to your imagination. You'll see when we get there though." Hmm, integrating possibly third-party software into SAO. Koga hadn't really ever thought about it too much. He knew a lot about modding games, so he knew that some games made it virtually impossible to add or remove things without the right software, Koga had always just assumed that's what S
  14. The girl stepped a pace or two ahead of Koga and started to sign at him again, however when the subtitles started popping up between them, Koga nearly jumped out of his skin. "What in the fuck!? That's a thing?" he asked, once he recovered some semblance of composure. "Eh, yeah I can read that," he added with a chuckle. "Damn, Kayaba really didn't skimp out on all the extra features to make us comfortable while he killed us all off, huh?" "So I guess we won't need those messages anymore at least," the man said with a smile as they both exited the settlement and entered into the floor prop
  15. Okami nuzzled into the woman's palm as his pets returned and Koga read the next of what would surely become a long thread of messages. He stared blankly for a moment at the message for a moment. Oh boy. So everything from scratch? Where should he even start? Where should she even start, that was the better question. Well...there was about one thing and one thing only that Koga was really good at...and that was fighting...but fight what? Where? Then an idea came to Koga's head. A place out of the depths of his memories and his early days in Aincrad. To be completely honest, it would n
  16. Koga walked into the store, not having noticed the sign out front. It was actually a pretty nice place. And also the only tailor Koga could find, available or otherwise. As the man approached the counter he spotted the supposed owner, a small, ashen-girl. She didn't appear to be much older than Koga's own sister. Heck, she was almost certainly younger. Although the look of surprise didn't strike Koga's face it did rush through his mind for a brief moment. "Yo, I'd like these two handwraps made," Koga said as he scribbled something down onto a scrap of paper and handed it to the girl. "And
  17. A moment later and the girl, or rather Ghost, was already typing a message back, and a moments more, and the reply was in Koga's inbox. The man chuckled a little at the mention of the tutorial, "Yeah, that tutorial is uh...not the greatest," he agreed with a wry smile. In fact it was downright infuriating. Still, he had somehow allowed himself to be roped into helping out some newbies get through them. He was relieved to hear that he wouldn't be subjected to that torture again. "What do you need help with?" he asked. There were a lot of systems in the game. Well, ok there were really onl
  18. Koga was quickly losing track of what was going on the fight. Shouting, battle banter, Scathers turning off, players rushing to dismantle them once more. Had Koga's last blow even connected? He'd thought it had, but he didn't know anymore. Koga grit his teeth, the leather of his gloves creaking in his ears alone as his grip tightened upon his weapon. The man shook his head, forcing everything from his mind except the movements of the boss. "Press the attack!" Koga was the first to respond, with Okami right beside him. Low and fast, Koga charged in, Tsuki no Hikari crooning eagerly as
  19. Koga stood there with his hand extended, feeling like a downright idiot while the girl stared at him with an absolutely unreadable face. '...do...do I put my hand down?' Koga thought to himself, refusing to allow his face show any of the immense awkwardness he was feeling. 'Do I say something?' Mercifully, the girl did not leave Koga to ponder his potential social awkwardness for much longer as she finally took his hand and allowed herself to be helped to her feet. Realizing that his pets had also ceased for the moment, the Wolf sat on his haunches between the two, staring up a them
  20. k o g a the elder wolf With the day's (not so) hard work done, it was time to head home again. As always, Koga left his shop, ran back in because he forgot the keys, left again, locked up, and went on his way. Today, however, he didn't head straight to the teleporter as he typically did. Nope, today he was in need of groceries. While not necessary for the lives of those living within Aincrad, it was a welcome comfort, especially for those who knew how to cook. Doubly fortunate was the fact that Yukiro was off doing...whatever the hell it was th
  21. The girl appeared startled for little more than a moment before her face became stoic once more as she picked up Koga's weapon and began to gently pet Okami. 'You're such a man-[censored],' Koga thought, looking at the wolf with a shake of his head. "Sorry about him," Koga apologized to the girl, unphased about her possession of his weapon. It would just reappear in his inventory or in his hands with a single thought. "He likes to just run off with my stuff and make me chase after him sometimes." As Koga spoke, the wolf nuzzled himself into the woman's hand, clearly enjoying the attention he w
  22. A singular bright spot stood in contrast to the dark, shadowed walls. Koga glanced over as he passed by the spot, a low level player, a common sight in this town. Nothing unusual. Except for some reason, Okami decided to get back into his trouble making shenanigans. Koga suddenly found his belt a good deal lighter as Okami bounded away from him, Koga's katana in his maw. "Okami! No, get back here!" The wolf, of course, did not listen as he ran over to the girl, leaning against the wall, and wagged his tail happily as he presented the sword to her. Okami put the katana down at the oth
  23. k o g a the elder wolf The sound of the lock clicking into place echoed quietly in the empty alleyway as a raven haired man turned a key in the door. It wasn't late yet, but the sun had just started to dip below the rooftops of the Town of Beginnings. Since there were no orders to be hammered out, well Koga figured it was okay to close the forge a bit early. Besides, he still had to get home to cook for himself and Yukiro. That boy was eating him out of house and home, but at least he was helping pay for groceries now. "C'mon boy," Koga sa
  24. "Wait, so people were mad at you for making the fight easier?" Koga asked, as Hirru made some space for between himself and the boss, indicating it was Koga's turn. "Or am I missing something?" he asked with a grunt. Koga's blade burst into black flames as he struck the Wood, causing it let out a strange cry of pain. A slight smile tugged at Koga's lips. It was quick to fade though, as the man realized that this meant his Hate was now higher than Hirru's. The swordsman glanced upwards and to find that the Treant was staring right at him. "Ah, shi-" Koga never finished his sentence as
  25. Koga listened as other spoke, making mental notes as best he could as he too took a marshmallow and began to slowly roast it over the fire, gently rotating it. Had to distribute the heat evenly. "Hey now," Koga said as Hirru mentioned they're recent farming run against the Wicked Wood, "That second hit, not my fault. And besides there was no way that boss was gonna be able to get anymore than maybe one more shot on me before we took him down. I was fine." Koga smiled as he spoke, clearly not bothered by the friendly advice, "but yeah, I got it. Stand behind the big shield, can do, will do
