While she had the moment now, Yuki opened her menu and sent a party invite to Crozeph and Arabelle. Not particularly bothered from the pestering of her friend, Yuki smiled to the both of them and put a thumb up to her chest. "Don't worry guys. Stay behind me and nothing bad will happen. This is the kind of thing that I've been training for!" Her grin was wide. Likely she wasn't the best player suited for taking around here but everyone was needed to do their part, even if it meant that Yuki died protecting someone else, that is what she would do.
See a familiar face, Yuki pulled her over and gave her a smile. "Oi, you're Shield's buddy aren't ya? Where is that wall of steel and thorns?" Shye quietly shook her head in response. "I have no idea. He never gave us a message to meet up here, maybe he's running late."
"Well, he'd better get here soon. The higher level players are going to need a reliable tank to stand behind. We have to over estimate this enemy entirely, if we don't they might get the better of even this giant group of people."
The clouds rolled in carefully, darkening the bright blue sky of floor one. A sense dread fell over even Yuki as the three dark figures marched their direction. Collecting her spear and shield from their hammerspace, Yuki took a battle ready position in front of her allies. And the dread faded the moment she saw her enemies. A goblin, a boar and a fish. Really? She wouldn't under-estimate any of them, because she knows that looks can be deceiving bit really? Whatever, kill them and go home.
The paladin's lovely spear came in right after Mari's on the boar. The gap in damage between the two was massive but this was no time to be complaining about how much damage she did. It would have helped more if she had actually hit her target. [censored], perhaps she should have came more buffed. How could she let her enthusiast for going home make her forget about something so important?
As the attacks came through the paladin looked around at everyone's health points. Her eyes widened widened in horror: Did literally everyone just lose half of the maximum health points?!?! What kind of meta gaming bullshit was that?! How was she supposed to do her job like this?!?! Her silent foot falls moved her back to her team slowly, the concern on her face was broadcasted to her entire group. All she could muster to say at the moment was: "This is bad..."

A clank against her armor sounded when she missed the catch. The chunk of stone plopped into the snow at her feet and the paladin sighed, willing her spear back into her hammerspace, she carefully bends down and moves the Essence of Steel into her inventory.
"Yeah, thanks." Her tone was a bit flat. Yet another battle where she did absolutely nothing. "My name is Zay-Chi-Sah. Sorry, I know its difficult to pronounce. That's why I go by the name Yuki. Much easier to pronounce and very ambiguous."
Taking a deep breath, the pinkette shook her head and tried to change her mood the best she could. "You're still strong as ever Mari!" Her big toothy grin finally came out. "I see you took up a new weapon as well. Matching me for my weapon style, but I think that was a two-handed specific attack. Nice choice!" Her mood was seeming to get a bit better now that there was no enemy to focus on at least.

"Oi, its no worry!" The paladin said with her proud grin stamped across her face. She gracefully accepted the Col rendered from the junk sale. "Its not all in your control what the identifications come out to so I could hardly blame you. Its not like uniques just fall from the sky or anything. Tell ya what though." Yuki said, resting her elbow upon the counter for a moment and pointing An with a happy grin. "I'll bring you more stuff to check out later down the line and we'll try to get me a good unique. When we get me something I like, half the Col in my coffers is yours. How does that sound?"

Opening her menu, she sent the boy a friend request. Although it was pretty upsetting that he hadn't gotten the item as well, she would make him another offer.
"Alright then, if you ever need this item in the future, or just any help with any boss. You just ping me and tell me where to meet you. Except for snake. Do not message me to fight that crappy snake." Her face got serious upon mentioning the snake. Memories that were better left to the depths of time and to the only two people who knew about it. [censored], Paralysis.
"I'm always free to party up, don't think that I'm busy just cause I'm a 'high-level player'. I'm just as much a person as you are and we all need help from each other if we want to make it out of here alive. Now, let's get you back to the safe zone."

Essence of Steel to Yuki -
With another gracious opportunity opened up by Freyd, Yuki rushes forward once more, her golden-white lance taking on it's pretty pink hum once more. With a few precise jabs to the head of the beast and a tick of bleed, it momentarily paused and exploded into nothing but data. The paladin sighed and willed her spear back into her hammerspace. A wave of her hand opened up her menu to ensure that the quest item had been moved to her inventory. Thankfully, it was there.
"Nice. Now that that is finished, I can improve my weapon. Very much needed even though I'm coming close to being Tier three." She pulled the Essence of Steel out of her inventory and showed it to Freyd. "You too should have an item that looks something like this in your inventory. Keep hold of it and if you ever find an item that you like that isn't kitted out to the best of it's abilities, than use this to make it better."

Never one to miss an event, Yuki hurriedly made her way to the first floor. "If you want your freedom-" Was Kayaba offing them the keys to their prison, or was he simply handing them the noose for taking so long clear only 25 floors? Missing the chance to be apart of any type of event would be like shooting oneself in the foot, especially if they were working on leveling like she was. Getting to tier three was going be fast than she expected and she would do anything expedite the process.
Arriving at the location the message had entailed, Yuki summoned her massive lance. It looks like she was the first of the event participants to get here, or maybe she was the only one who was going to be here in the first place. That would be pretty disappointing all things considered. Who knows if this would actually be freedom for the participants of the game.

With the Frost Beast on it's back, Yuki could basically get a free shot in. She rushed over to it's fallen position and attempted to sink her spear into it's head, but was only met with the urgency to block the monster's stub of a fist. The ice made a horrific noise as it grind across her hand, making her attack go wide and get stuck in the ground. A groan of annoyance sounded from the paladin as this battle continued to drag out much longer than she had anticipated.
"Mou! Could you be any worse at sucker punching? Hell, if you were somewhat good at it you would be dead already!" She voiced her complaints, clearly getting enraged by the fact that this mob basically refused to attack her. It was like it didn't actually want to die or something. "Good job Freyd, keep doing what you are doing."

The Beast was relentless. Nothing in her information had told her about the enemy getting a second wind like a ton of other bosses. Perhaps it was recognizing just how screwed it was and was doing everything it could to stay alive. The only way is going to win this battle though was if Yuki missed several more attacks and it had hit her with nothing but critical attacks.
Weaving through more dangerous attacks Yuki rushed through it's guard and pierced her lance into it's chest, dragging the golden blade across the enemies front and leaving a wide open gash. One more good round of attacks and the thing would cease to exist. That item was just moments away from being hers and finally she could up her damage even further. Remembering that she had brought company, the paladin looked over to make sure Freyd was alright. Thankfully, it looked like he was getting ready to launch another attack.

Yuki walked quietly with a grin on her face. Ralberg was a nice enough place, but a bit too posh for her tastes. Floor 22 was still one of her favorite floors to date. Interrupted by the familiar voice that she had forgotten was even there, Yuki gave her a smile.
"No need to worry about that." She waved off the comment about Andromeda. "It's truly not her fault that I didn't get any unique items. The game has more of a factor in it when it comes to determining drops. If I was worried about not getting anything unique, than I would be complaining right now. Just gotta keep moving forward, keep grinding and keep leveling."
The game was difficult with her so far. Her build required so much attention right now and it was starting to become slightly draining. It wouldn't be so bad if only she could handle her loot minimum enemies by herself, which she probably could with necessary buffs, but it would take ages to finish combat like that. Plus, that's why she had a friend like Night.
"Yuki, ready to head out?" Said friend asked as it seemed her preparations were all in order. With a nod and an "Nn." Yuki followed her comrade where she may go.
