As it turned out, Miryu's attempt to keep the monster distracted didn't work out as much as she hoped. The angered boar would fend off attacks from Almina and Kylissia with ease, then proceed to knock Wulfrin down into the mud. Of course, in it's "zeal" it left itself wide open to Miryu's blade. Miryu would unleash her sword art on the creature. Not much of its HP dropped, but if Miryu could hurt it, she and the other two girls could kill it. The boar staggered from Miryu's attack, then squealed at her angrily before turning to face Wulfrin again. Miryu knew how to fight, yet t

Miryu had every intention of getting the soonest opportunity to take the monster down, now if only it could present itself without disruption... The moment Kylissia's hand lowered in consideration, Miryu rushed into the fray, as though she was doing so out of personal habit. Her blade clashed against the beast's tusks, and it was clear that this particular boar had seen plenty of combat. The boar knew how to use her tusks to block and deflect Miryu's weapon, and at one point managed to catch it in attempt to disarm her. The attempt to disarm failed, but the boa

Miryu held position, when the time was right, she would strike. Kylissia and Almina did nothing against the boar, as to not catch its attention. Wulfrin would deal some considerable damage to it, and the monster was too stunned to take any action. Wulfrin would then tell the trio that they were all good to go for a strike and see if any of them could finish it off, seeing that it was currently stunned from Wulfrin's attack. Miryu prepared a sword art, but Kylissia held out her arm to stop her. Miryu, confused, looked to Kylissia, who explained to the two pinkettes the reasoning behin

Once Almina and Kylissia finished with their boarlets, a much greater, mightier boar came charging down, a burning vendetta in its eyes over having become childless. The girls had killed all ten in the litter, now the boarlets' mother had come to avenge them. Kylissia sheathed her weapon, then grabbed Miryu and Almina as she ran to try and lead the monster to Wulfrin, who was still battling with the false apparition. Once the battlefield had been completely moved, The status ailment on the monster finished it off, leaving just the raging mother boar in the battle, but it had identi

Once Miryu had taken care of the first four, Almina and Kylissia rushed in to deal with the boarlets that were charging in to avenge their siblings. Almina dispatched two, and so did Kylissia, leaving only two boarlets left from the litter. Miryu kept her stance, waiting to see if or how she should take action. The sound of hefty footsteps she didn't recognize drew her attention. A beast with a cursor that, while appearing red to Wulfrin, would bear the color black for Miryu. Wulfrin called out for the trio to avoid drawing aggro from the monster, to focus on the quest targets inste

Wulfrin would answer the questions that Almina and Kylissia had. seemed like this was just how it was going to be. On top of that, the name remained a name. No clue who it was as of the moment. Wulfrin did know, however, a place to seek out the boarlets in. Along the path to the location, Miryu stopped, as her eyes met that figure from earlier the moment she looked to the side. She turned to look at the others and tugged at Kylissia's arm, but upon looking back, the figure was gone again. Miryu blinked. "It was right there..." She thought aloud. "I...I could've sworn it was right

Miryu looked to Wulfrin as he addressed her, in regards to the little moment with the tower where she tumbled into the river. Miryu had tried her best, truly, she did. Her response was an unusual one, however. She gently lifted her right hand, and brought her index finger over to Wulfrin's nose, placing it upon the tip. Then, she slowly began to apply pressure as to lightly push. Strangest thing about this was, she didn't even know why she was doing this, she just felt like it. It's not like there was any harm, right? Well, it was time to return to Tol

Miryu looked around for a short moment, before the quest log updated on her HUD. "Hey, I think we're done." She said to Almina and Kylissia. She then walked over to Wulfrin, and tapped him on the shoulder. "The quest log's telling us to return now." She revealed. The ground shook. Miryu lost her footing and fell on her rear. Something burst from the ground near the other side of the river. It rose for a fair amount of seconds before stopping. Whatever it was, it was standing tall now. The endemic life might not have been hostile to players in this moment, but they seemed to be in a

Miryu's search continued, while the other two seemed to begin having trouble. Kylissia was looking but had not found anything other than that one herb, and Almina had ended up looking at the sky and slipped on a material that then shattered. She wasn't very lucky, was she? Miryu looked in front of her to find an odd bloom, same color as the grass around, but was definitely a closed bloom with possible alchemical uses. Miryu gripped it with two hands and pulled it out. Wulfrin remarked about being less picky, that any material will suffice for the quest. "Who knows, what can help may

Miryu had some mild confusion as to why Wulfrin thought that a worst case scenario would be something jumping out and trying to kill...but if hostile monsters could appear in those locations, why would Miryu have possibly taken the time to take a screenshot of the area? Did it really make any sense? Regardless of that, he seemed to hope that answers to Miryu's amnesia would be found in those locations. Well, that might be possible...if Miryu was the one to come along, that is. What could random locations even mean to someone who's never been there before? Miryu didn't recognize the sc

Kylissia and Wulfrin both suggested that Miryu should avoid deleting the screenshots for the time being. Wulfrin also asked for copies of the screenshots, but this confused her. What use would he have for these? These were landscapes, city locales, biomes of many kinds...exactly what even is this situation? Miryu blinked. "What could you possibly be able to do with them, even if I sent them to you?" Miryu asked, confused and tilting her head to the side. With the trip to the locale being surprisingly peaceful, Miryu felt somewhat at ease, even if Wulfrin did not. Now that t

Kylissia took Wulfrin aside, and after some awkward silence, Almina decided to help Miryu figure out her menu. She seemed to recall how to work the menu, despite having forgotten it even existed. Was it some kind of 'second nature' or something? So much for her to figure out... Almina would explain the functions of the message and screenshot systems, and with the tap of a button, *Click!* Almina would recognize that Miryu had taken a screenshot out of button curiosity, and help her to view it, saying it could be seen at only the tap of a button. As she

Almina asked Miryu if she was ok and if she saw anything. "Yes...there was this armored person...thing? But they were suddenly gone the moment I blinked." Miryu answered. The remainder of the trip was uneventful, so there would be no further interruptions. Wulfrin spotted both of what Miryu needed to find, and opted to stay put unless necessary. Miryu nodded in understanding, and with the other two players she went inside the building. Two men were talking. One older and one younger. "You're sure you haven't seen anything strange happening near o

Kylissia's remark to Almina about a "second life" stuck in Miryu's mind. Not that she could try and bring something back up with it, but it was something worth keeping a mental note of nevertheless. Kylissia then asked Miryu a question in regards to her memory. Miryu entered a state of realization as her expression darkened. Waking up wasn't just the last thing she remembered...it was also the first. "No...I don't..." She revealed. It was a troubling scenario indeed. "Second" life or no, this was currently the only one she knew. She should have known a before, yet she did

Miryu was confused. There was so much that she was hearing, and not all of it made sense. Tolbana actually being a Town? Ok, that was understandable. Creatures that could potentially be hostile? That was also believable. It was the fact that the current environment was referred to as "a game and not reality" that began Miryu's confusion, and what is this GM that Wulfrin spoke of? Some of these things all felt familiar, but they didn't appear to be familiar. If this was indeed a game, it would explain the information within Miryu's vision that normally
