[SP-F09] The Bleeding Citadel | <<Gate Keeper of Fire>>
Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
Wulfrin was in full crowd control mode. His blade continuously alight with a sword art that was border line button mashing in a game with no buttons. Each strike was calculated though, as he needed to be precise with his attacks. The trick to getting the Sword Art he was after was to get each head of Cerberus, Inferno Rage down to about a quarter of its health bar without killing any of the heads. This last barrage of attacks from Wulfrin not only cleared the field of Infernal Hellhounds, but also brought the first of Cerberus's heads down to the proper level. Cerberus, now without its m -

Arriving at Cerberus's den and the change was significant. Cerberus has basically doubled in size and radiated a heat similar to that of Avernus, the hidden area beyond the gate he guarded. Wulfrin's blade stood at the ready as he approached. As wulfrin took the last step to enter the den proper, Cerberus let loose a mighty roar that shook the infernal cavern around him. Three additional beasts manifested in the wake of the mighty roar. In unison their health bars appeared revealing their upgraded names: Cerberus, Inferno's Rage and Infernal Hellhounds. Wulfrin noticed the heads were too large -
Returning to Floor 9, Wulfrin did his best to prepare for his dive into the hellish landscape of Avernus. The first obstacle in his path would be the rebirthed Cerberus. Though for Wulfrin that was less of an inconvenience. Cerberus's rebirth meant he could grab one of the few remaining sword arts he was missing. This one supposedly applied burn on a hit, and considering that the DoT version of the enhancements usually required precise swordplay that even Wulfrin couldn't nail 100% of the time. Having a guaranteed to proc option would increase his already expansive arsenal. Wulfrin's info on t

"Hey Night," Wulfrin mumbled as he entered the familiar shop on floor 1. The air grew heavy as he walked, the shadows of the evening seeming to cling to him as he walked in a half-alive state. "I need a favor. I picked up this trinket a while back and wanted to get it transferred into my main kit. Unfortunately the other two enhancements aren't really of use to me. I've been using one of your Dioscuri since I started and that is basically what I'm wanting to keep around." He placed on the counter a brooch, a Gleaming Scale, a Demonic Shard, and a handful of fish. He scrawled out some info

[BR-F28] Paving the Way to Floor 29 [Team 2: Freyd]
Wulfrin replied to Plot Master's topic in The Frontlines
Callisto’s hide shuddered with each impact of Wulfrin’s blade and the sequential follow up from his teammates. Freyd the ever stalwart defender rushed in, wreathed with the flames of a three headed gate guardian. A delayed dab from the Whisper reciprocated from their off tank Mac as their disgust at the boss regenerating hung in the air. Mac’s strike was well timed and placed in such a way that it sent Callisto into the same disoriented state Wulfrin had been keeping him in for the extent of the raid up to this point. Baldur was the next to follow up, their katana a light with a sword a -

It is a katana, black as the deepest void with a Damascus pattern that mimics a river of lighter greys and blacks. It is outlined all over with golden filigree. In place of the usual mark of Sentinel Armaments is a Phoenix trapped in the coil of a long inky black shadow with two small shards of sapphire. Materials paid at time of craft. Post Link:

Wulfrin watched as the fledgling warriors took their first steps into the dangerous wilds of Aincrad. Like a silent mentor he observed each of the perspective players. Siren was first to move. With precision, her rapier (a finely crafted Sentinel Armaments original piece), pierced the first boar's flesh with ease. It burst into a shower of fractal lights, but just as quickly as it feel, another took its place. Astra moved next. His form was choppy, unrefined, and not unlike Wulfrin when he first started. He had expressed interest in becoming a DPS user like Wulfrin. If that were to be the -

<<Floor 22, Wulfrin's estate>> Wulfrin's mind was far too clouded for sleep. Diwali was a nice distraction for a time, but it had come and gone far too soon in his eyes. He lay in his bed staring up at his lakeside estate's ceiling. Sound asleep next to him was Ciela, his darling wife. Thoughts of countless possibilities flooded his already over active brain. Contingencies on contingencies. For the fifth time now, he attempted to induce sleep. *DING* A message alert chimed in his ears. With a few quick gestures, being careful not to wake his sleeping partner, Wulfrin -
<< Floor 22 | Sentinel Armaments >> Wulfrin was hard at work in his workshop when he got a message ping on his HUD. One of the newer players he had helped out, Astra, was requesting his presence for a bit of fishing. Looking at his stores of items, he could use a fishing trip that was more than just a handful of minutes while some newer players searched for materials. He looked over to his main bench where a freshly sharpened blade and set of light armor lay waiting. "Good a time as any to give it to him right?" Wulfrin asked out to no one in particular. "Perhaps giv

Wulfrin had just wrapped up another run into the dangerous dust bowl that was Terra Firma’s arena. This was the new routine when he had down time. Wulfrin, whose visage was obscured by his desert hermit disguise, returned to Abdullah’s abode where the aristocrat spent his time in lavish luxury. “Job’s done.” Wulfrin grumbled in a gruff voice, his best Geralt of Rivia impersonation. “I’ll be heading out again to slay the beast once it returns again in a few hours.” ”Yes yes,” Abdullah waved at him dismissively. “You’re efficient compared to those other mongrels that seek my permission

"Sup Abdullah!" Wulfrin jokingly announced his presence in his 'favorite' NPC's domicile. "I'm doing the thing. Your compliance is a non-factor." "I think you'll fi-" Abdullah's voice faded as Wulfrin stepped past the beaded curtain. It was a past time of his. Now that the raid was over, Wulfrin needed to blow off some steam. He could think of no better way than to go and absolutely steamroll a sandy shark. Wulfrin made his way through the streets of Fortaleza to the abandoned cafe he used as a staging ground. The quest was formally known as Bloodstained Land, but it had become known

The growl shook Wulfrin to his core, but Wulfrin held fast. His gaze fixated on Callisto. As Freyd narrowly escaped the bear's grasp, Wulfrin watched as some of Callisto's wounds began to seal. It was never a good thing to see a boss regain health. Wulfrin's mind began to mull over the evidence before them in the background, as the group had to find a way to prevent future activations. It's feeding on the decay, Wulfrin guessed as he watched the bear began to feast on the corpses that littered the ground. Fire might be our best bet, but that isn't exactly in my wheelhouse. "Right," Wulfrin said at Siren's comment. "Anyway, let's get this show on the road. We're going back out into the wilds for a demonstration of how combat works." Wulfrin guided the group back out into the wilds, not terribly far from the stream where they were hunting for materials. They weren't in the forest glade this time, rather the plains nearby. Amongst the rolling fields were several packs of boars. Several of these meager beasts were smaller, known as boarletts, these would be the targets of the newbies' quest. Wulfrin led the group just outside aggression range for the pack leade -

Wulfrin surveyed the battlefield as his group prepared to unleash another round of attacks against the giant fetid Smokey Bear. That was of course until Freyd got snatched up by the bear’s big meaty claws. A little over three health bars remained on their target. So far Team 2 seemed to be fairly well off. Cro was a bit low on energy, but otherwise Wulfrin could tell by the stances, that there were about to be 3 heavy sword arts delivered. Then the arena’s scene shifted. The vines swallowed up some of the lingering bodies and unleashed a toxic film that smelt of rotten eggs. The miasma release -
"Final push," Wulfrin muttered to himself as he prepared for the land shark's attack. "Hit me with your best shot." He had witnessed Terra Firma's rage many times before, but he had yet to be on the receiving end. It did not disappoint. In a flash, Terra Firma ducked beneath the sands once again. A giant toothy maw upened beneath Wulfrin as Terra Firma began it's assault. The beast's jaw clamped around the swordsman's body. Wulfrin's entire body was pins and needles as the TV static like affect of the pain absorbers worked double time. Its prey successfully trapped, Terra Firma continued

Wulfrin replied to Yona's topic in Beginner Floors
"I... uh... " Wulfrin said as Yonna set up to take her swing. "I don't think there are irons in putt-putt. That's kind of an actual golf thing." The heavy impact of makeshift club against ball resulted in a series of rapid plinks that echoed from the corridor ahead. Instinctively, Wulfrin had ducked, anticipating the ricochet to come back on them with how hard Yona had smacked the ball. Thankfully this timeline he was on did not involve losing HP to a flying object, but it got him thinking about how viable golf balls could be as a weapon in this game. Perhaps it could be a future investig
