That made two new profession skills unlocked. At this point he had the capability of crafting any piece of equipment in the game so long as it had the mundane enhancements on it. His next target was the consumable crafting professions. The first on that list would be the easiest to level and would provide him access to a near endless supply of crafter's respites, assuming he could successfully craft them. Despite Zachariah being the alchemist you speak to for starting the first lessons quest, he wasn't the one to handle teaching the craft. "Oh hi!" A young woman greeted Wulfrin warmly as

"I've returned with the materials," Wulfrin announced as he crossed the threshold of the artisan shop. "I'm ready to learn whenever you're ready to teach." "Right then," The shop keep replied as he cleared off a workspace. "Let's get started." Wulfrin set to work at the jeweler's station. He was already somewhat familiar with fine metalwork and gemology as some of his smithing crafts required those skills, but focusing entirely on the skills was proving to be the real challenge. Wulfrin watched and mimicked the steps being shown to him with near pin point accuracy. Before long he hel

Wulfrin began to circle the pack that had fruitlessly attempted to take him down. Each received their final sword strike in their sky facing flank before they could return to their feet. Wulfrin watched as the various loot panels flashed into view and vanished just as quickly. In much the same vein as the previous pack, Wulfrin's purse grew heavier and his rare materials count continued to tick up, this time gleaming scales. His collection of maps was growing just as fast. One of these days he'd have to actually try and clear all these dungeons, but for now all he could do was sit on them. A t

Wulfrin left the Town of Beginnings and returned to his hunting ground deep in the woods. In the back of his mind, he had been keeping track of the seconds that had passed since he felled the wolves. The trick to his plan was to time his return perfectly with the wolves respawning. In short it was going to be a simple day of: start a quest, kill the wolves, do the craft, and repeat. Thus were the perks of being a high level player. With near pin point punctuality, Wulfrin arrived at his clearing. He closed his eyes and steadied his breathing to ensure he could hear his approaching targets. As

New cloak in hand, Wulfrin continued to peruse the market district of the Town of Beginnings. Next on his list of professions to collect was the skills of being an artisan. Between the skills given by that profession, tailoring, and his already nearly maxed out blacksmithing, Wulfrin was quickly moving towards being able to build just about any piece of gear he would need. Sure he would need to still sure to level up the professions up to the point that he could properly make gear of the appropriate tier, but at least they could benefit slightly form his blacksmith levels. Wulfrin entered the

"I've returned," Wulfrin announced as he stepped back into Richard's shop. "Brought some wolf pelts with me. I hope they'll work." "They'll do fine," Richard replied as he worked to set up a shared workspace for the two of them. "So long as you can get the needle to pull the thread through." Wulfrin sat down next to Richard at his work desk. Wulfrin watched as Richard pulled the thread trough with grace and dexterity that he attempted to replicate in real time. Thankfully the system did most of the work for him. Just like when he was working at his forge, so long as Wulfrin went thro

As the wolves attempted to recover from Wulfrin's initial strike, he moved to finish off the kills. It wasn't difficult, the mobs of floor 1 rarely posed much issue to him, that was part of why he always chose this spot for his escort missions. One by one Wulfrin made his way to each wolf and plunged the blade of his sword into their flank. It was the swiftest death he could grant them. Thankfully he seemed to be hitting a small lucky streak as each one yielded col, materials, dungeon maps, and the oh so coveted demonic shards. If he was going to be focusing more on crafting multiple things, h

Wulfrin took a moment to take in the familiar sights of his old hunting ground. He had spent many a time here fishing and watching over new players looking to get a leg up in this death trap of a game. it was peaceful and without much interference from mobs, at least when Wulfrin didn't bring them in. See the area around this small clearing of the forest was filled with various mobs, most of which were harmless, but there was one pack of wolves that occasionally prowled a bit too close. On any normal day, Wulfrin would have his shadows gently nudge the the mobs away from the clearing as to ens

Having been notified of the ability to obtain multiple professions a spark ignited in his completionist mind. While he didn't mind going to various shops and purchasing his necessary items, Wulfrin couldn't help but mentally explore the amount of time he'd save by being able to just do it all himself. He had found himself lately having more attempts than he needed to complete blacksmithing orders so having other avenues for those extra attempts would help him out in the long run. "Hello," A sharp dressed, mountain of a man swept in from the back room of the quaint tailoring shop Wulfrin h

Wulfrin replied to KnightessCiela's topic in Beginner Floors
"Present," Wulfrin spoke as he drifted out of Acanthus's shadow. "Just wrapped up with Abdullah. He was nice enough to give us free reign of Terra Firma's arena. Dunno what had him in such a good mood today though. Maybe he managed to hit the hookah bar this morning." Wulfrin tapped the shard of metal around his neck causing a spread of meats and cheeses to appear next to the mosaic that was Ciela's feast. He was pretty sure it was a hot dog of sorts, considering that's what it tasted like when he ate himself a portion, but the pixelated item was pretty much incomprehensible. All together -
"You have exactly one third of that correct," Wulfrin chuckled as he pointed to the writing on the slab. "The first line talks about Kumatetsu. It reads as follows: If seeking power, wisdom and resilience, find ye those which embody nature’s graces: The fiercest of beasts with unmatched strength. With that bit of knowledge why don't you try and decipher the next line?" Wulfrin could actually just recite the whole poem from memory, though that would take all the fun out of it. Instead he saw this as a teaching moment. Not all problems within the floating castle could be solved by swinging

[PP-PT-F24] Shockingly Not A Raidou Thread
Wulfrin replied to Morningstar's topic in Intermediate Floors
Wulfrin had been doing a bit of fishing off the shores of the Paradise Islands as he noticed the makeshift party forming. Wulfrin quietly put away his fishing rod and made his way down to Morningstar's side. "Yall crab hunting?" Wulfrin questioned as the group of five gathered around could only mean such a quest was about to be undertaken. "Looks like your party is one support role short. Lucky for you I've been cosplaying a support user lately. If you'll have me, I'll gladly cover the role." Wulfrin was not in any proper hunting attire, dressed simply in street clothes and a couple -
"It isn't terribly big," Wulfrin replied as he made a rough estimation with his hands. "Not much bigger than a tablet from our world." Wulfrin paid no attention to the cave around them, his Night Vision skill pulling most of the weight as he journeyed through the twisting tunnels. Before long he led them to a chamber with a tree stump standing alone in the center of the large chamber. The trees roots clung to the outer edges of the chamber, eventually coming back together at the apex of the chamber's ceiling. Positioned nicely at the center of the roughly ten foot wide stump was a tablet

[PP - 08] Bark Side of the Moon <<Elvish Conflict>>
Wulfrin replied to Bliss's topic in Beginner Floors
"Could have sworn I saw another player," Wulfrin huffed as Morningstar dismissed his initial observation. "Pretty sure his name was Alkor, but guess I was just seeing things. Callisto is still fresh on my mind." Wulfrin watched as Bliss explained her case to Morningstar after he had offered for her to join their party. Wulfrin was very concerned about Bliss's current level. Floor 8 was pretty high up the castle for a player still relatively new to the world of Aincrad. This floor was filled with gigantic beasts that could off a low level player in a single strike. While he didn't have any -
[BR-F29] Paving the Way to Floor 30 [Team 1: KnightessCiela]
Wulfrin replied to Plot Master's topic in The Frontlines
As the darkness befell the battlefield around them, Wulfrin spotted a similar movement in Belregor's pattern. The veil of darkness that engulfed him and his team caused Wulfrin to lose sight of the black knight for the breifest of moments. In his left hand, his Crystal of Divine Light felth heavy, the memory of its last use causing Wulfrin to hesitate for the breifest of moments. With a deep breath to center himself, Wulfrin raise the crystal to the sky causing the radiance of a dawn cresting sun to fill the shore of the black. The veil dispelled revealed exactly as Wulfrin had expected; where -
[BR-F29] Paving the Way to Floor 30 [Team 1: KnightessCiela]
Wulfrin replied to Plot Master's topic in The Frontlines
"Bruh," Wulfrin sighed as he watched Belregor change out weapons seemingly on the fly. "How many cheap tricks you have up your sleeve?" Wulfrin leapt into action, Belregor's fractal visage of Hirru fading allowing him a clear target. Wulfrin's blade hummed to life as the light effect of his sword art began to fill the small section of the Black's beachfront that had become their battle ground. Wulfrin darted forward, his eyes fixated on his darling wife that had left him just the opening he needed to keep the pressure on their target. Wulfrin leapt into the air and used Ciela's shield as -

"I uh," Wulfrin stammered for a minute, trying to find the best way to explain how he kept his fishing rod in the extradimensional space that was his inventory. "I mostly use a fishing rod and line. I can just use a bit of magic to keep it stored away for easy access at any time." Wulfrin was in awe at the expansive landscape around him. The forest was tranquil and calm, instantly reminding him of his favorite fishing spot on floor 1. The ambient sounds of the world around him only reinforced this longing. With the wave of his hand, a well used rod appeared that was freshly baited and rea

"I've heard..." Wulfrin hesitated, choosing his next words carefully. "Rumors of the All Hammer's ailments. Yet despite all his set backs, he still maintains the fire within his forge. I only hope my skills can prove worthy of the summons." Wulfrin followed his satyr up the stairs of Mount Olympus. Why couldn't they have an elevator in Aincrad like depicted in his favorite fiction series growing up as a kid? The stairs were steep and yet Wulfrin pushed on, keeping pace with his half-goat guide. They were well beyond the clouds by the time they came to rest. There was no break, just pure m
