  1. A late night fishing trip hadn't been on his mind, but the opportunity was too good to pass up. Wulfrin cast his line into the river with a gentle flick of the wrist. The bobber rest gently on the river's surface as it occasionally moved. The sounds of the forest were eerie and haunting. The sounds of prowling wolves could be heard in the distance. The perfect target should Wulfrin become ready to strike out. "You know," Wulfrin said to the dark forest around him. "This is probably the longest you've sat without so much as a word." "I've just been thinking," A second version of Wulf
  2. Wulfrin went for Yeff's sword arm this time. The Delaying Strike sword art found it's mark with precision. Solaris pulled back as the darkest elf's blade clattered to the ground. Not long after, Yeff's HP dropped to zero. Within the scattering of his fractal motes of light, Wulfrin noticed a small vial on the ground. Picking it up and opening it's info menu revealed that it was in fact the item he was looking for. With a simple gesture, the item disappeared into the void that was his inventory. "Too bad Yeff didn't have the stats to drop anything else," Wulfrin sighed. "Guess it's time to
  3. Wulfrin continued his assault against Yeff, The Darkest Elf. His blade erupted with the emerald light of Florenthian Howl as he brought it to bare against his elven foe. Yeff brought his blade to meet Wulfrin's, causing the blow to only graze his form. Great. Dude can Parry. Wulfrin thought to himself as he pivoted around Yeff. What he didn't expect was Yeff spinning around to follow him and thrust his blade outward. The pain receptors buzzed a bit in Wulfrin's right shoulder as Yeff, The Darkest Elf removed its blade from the wound. Wulfrin's HP barely moved, though that wasn't surprising. Ev
  4. It only took a handful of hours to locate Yeff. The waning hours of night time within the Forest of Wavering Mist was not making it easy, but thanks to the combined abilities of Solaris and his Night Vision Mod, Wulfrin was managing to make decent progress. He followed the elf for a few moments until they approached a clearing perfect for ambushing his target. "Alright Yeff," Wulfrin said as he stepped out of the shaded woods, reveling himself. "Time to hand over your salve. I kind of need it for helping out some friends." The dark elf jumped a bit before drawing a beautifully crafte
  5. For the first time in several cycles of Cardinal's ever shifting day night system, Wulfrin found himself traveling to Floor 3. There weren't many reasons to come here, mainly just to participate in a prison break quest and mini golf in a maze. Wulfrin's attention however was pulled towards something else entirely. His target was a fugitive dark elf named Yeff. He was told that they were some sort of escaped criminal, though the information was rather plain. As it turns out, it was just some player trying to pull a fast one on him. After a bit of digging, Wulfrin did come to realize that the Fi

  7. "Unfortunately yes," Wulfrin sighed as Jomei asked his question. "Kumatetsu is the only one I've faced. The other keepers I only have speculation on." He pointed to a skeletal figure seeming to rise out of a river of twisted faces. "This is the only one I have any speculation on. I don't know the name or location, but I am assuming this is the sentinel of the afterlife. If I had to guess, we'd need something with holy to combat it. The others are even more obscure. Too be honest, I kind of stopped researching once the labyrinth boss was defeated. It was nothing but grind grind grind at that po

  10. "Pleasure to meet you!" Wulfrin nodded to Morningstar's plus one. "We can catch up later when you aren't swarmed. I owe you an apology anyway." The crowd was even starting to make Wulfrin uncomfortable. Instead Wulfrin made his way to the refreshments table and added the finely crafted cake from Fondante's Inferno. HIs wife, Ciela, had slaved over it the day prior and he didn't want her hard work just going to waste while he waited for a chance to catch up with his friend. Wulfrin moved a bit further down the beach to one of the open docs. He remained in ear shot, but figured he could kic
  11. "Well would you look at that," Wulfrin smiled as the tablet clicked out of place. "Mission accomplished." Out of curiosity, Wulfrin opened his quest log to where his previously corrupted data for Scents of the Wild was housed. Having recompleted the first of the quest, the data seemed to have fixed itself. That or it was a special flag to avoid line skipping the deciphering portion of the quest. Cheeky Cardinal always trying to keep the players from skipping where they could in an attempt to "speed run" the floors. Come to think of it, Wulfrin hadn't seen any speed runners taking part in
  12. Still recovering form the labor of the task the previous god put him through, Wulfrin scrolled through his inventory to find the damned nymph whistle that accompanied his second invite to Olympus. Why he couldn't have gotten only one invite rather than two separate ones he didn't know. Wulfrin found himself at the edge of Corinthia, along it's coast away from prying eyes, as requested and sounded the whistle. As he did the tides calmed, the wind ceased, and a mist started to roll. For a moment he thought it was the mist of Icingdeath but this mist was more of a sea based mist rather than dry i
  13. Wulfrin sighed as he scrolled through his quest log for the umpteenth time. There was a duo of quests sitting in his log that he had been routinely putting off in favor of grinding for the raid or just simply questing with some of his fellow players. These quests though were almost necessary for him to better his ability to craft items. Today he found himself with a whole day to kill and once again he scrolled past the invite to the very home of the Greek Gods, Olympus. "Ah fuck it," Wulfrin said as he dismissed his menu. "I guess it's time to go and visit some literal gods." Wulfrin
  14. Wulfrin watched as Jomei took his translation and started adding his own additions. They were making decent progress, yet there was still plenty for them to decipher. Wulfrin continued trying different letters in the missing spots, but each time he would think he had a symbol pinned down, that same symbol would make a word incoherent further on in the message. This whole process seemed way more tedious than the last time he had completed it. His mind began to wander with various possibilities on whether they could finish this task in one sitting. If they could finish it, how would they kill th
  15. "Sorry to disappoint Persi," Wulfrin sighed realizing the mistake. "You can have some Griffin though." Wulfrin pivoted to the boss's haunches. Icingdeath became wreathed in the emerald hued light of Florenthian Howl. The griffin began to stumble as the blade carved into its hide. The tell tell signs of the shatter stacking continued to spread across the boss's form. This time around there was no freeze or stun from Wulfrin, so Wulfrin pivoted past Freyd and prepared for a retaliatory strike. Wulfrin's gaze trailed towards their aristocratic target's booth. Perched above it was Solaris, ke
  16. "Really going hard on the whole Gothic Horror tropes aren't we?" Wulfrin chuckled as they made their way through the winding corridor lined with cells. "I hope this weapon is worth it at least." Wulfrin stopped dead in his tracks as he approached a massive pile of corpses clad in similar cloaks to the guards they had met back at the main settlement. Seeing the obvious undead ambush before them Wulfrin carefully took note of their surroundings, namely the large constructs that lined the prison walls. Wulfrin didn't know if they were functional, but he also wasn't keen to test them. Morning

  18. "I don't think they did," Wulfrin smirked back at the Whisper as two more lively and heavily armored Fallen Valkyries made their presence known. Wulfrin pushed past his black clad mentor, his blade engulfed in the crimson light of a sword art. With two well placed strikes, the Valkyries that had somehow managed to miss the initial onslaught that was Freyd were put on the back foot leaving them open for continued attacks. The icy mist of Wulfrin's blade began to slowly encase the first to receive Wulfrin's attention, turning it into an immovable frozen statue. Wulfrin made his way back to
