[PP-F3] Labyrinthian Larks <<Search for the Hoya>>
Wulfrin replied to Yona's topic in Beginner Floors
"You're more talkative than the last one," Wulfrin chuckled as he stepped around Yona. "But my companion has a point. I'm kind of on a winning streak, and I'm not gunna let you ruin it." Then Wulfrin went into motion. His blade wreathed in the familiar light of the same Sword Art that felled the previous target. By his best estimate, Wulfrin assumed this Minotaur was more fleet of foot, so he adjusted his attack accordingly. He moved for the center of mass, where Govarron would have little options of escaping. Wulfrin's blade found flesh and in a few short seconds the healt bar went from -
[PP-F09] Boss Fighting Field Trip! <<Guardian of Fire>>
Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
"Well that's one off the list," Wulfrin chuckled. "Now the second one is gunna be... for lack of a better term, child's play. We're going down to floor 9 to put down a three headed dog. One of two steps to a fancy new sword art." Wulfrin led the group back towards the teleport plaza and initiated the floor shift. In stark contrast to the Underdark feeling of Floor 25, Floor 9 was a volcanic hellscape. Rivers of molten rock flowed like water, changing the topography every few in game hours. The portions that were cooled were smooth and sturdy enough to stand on, though the area still remai -
[PP-F27] Great Balls of Fire <<Ravana's Revenge>>
Wulfrin replied to Freyd's topic in Intermediate Floors
In true Shades of the Gemini user fashion, Wulfrin seemed to materialize out of the shadows of the quickly setting sun. Having the shadows cling to his form was something he was still adjusting to, but Wulfrin couldn't deny that the ability had come in handy more times than he had expected it to. He had spotted Freyd asking questions around the festival and the thought of some sinister plot brewing had piqued his interest. "I wouldn't be so sure," Wulfrin scoffed at The Whisper's denial that their common foe couldn't have a hand in the plot. "While it is unlikely that he would show his fa -
[SP-F09] The Bleeding Citadel | <<Gate Keeper of Fire>>
Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
Wulfrin descended into the valley below ready for a fight. This time it was less about testing waters and more about just pushing forward towards the citadel. For the most part he was managing well enough to evade the battle unfolding around him. That was until a group of demonic warriors broke off and began to assault him. Unable to out run his new opponents, Wulfrin spun around on his back foot and brought up his sword to bare against the four demons still following him. His platinum longsword erupted with the light of his stunning strike, Phoenix Wing. In one arcing strike, Wulfrin managed -

Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
Wulfrin stepped into the hellish landscape of Avernus, its fiery atmosphere clawing at Wulfrin's Survival skill to little effect. He had emerged on a cliff overlooking a massive valley bellow where two sides remained locked in an unending battle. The two factions warring were both of fiendish make, but Wulfrin was able to find a distinction. One side was organized, following a strict hierarchy. The other was simply running off of chaos and numbers. "Devils and Demons," Wulfrin commented from his high vantage point. "If this some how spread to the other floors who knows what could happen. -

Wulfrin quickly scrolled through his inventory. He was both surveying the items he had accumulated from his bout with Cerberus and preparing for his descent into hell. His Phoenix Memoir faded to a simple set of travelers clothes. His ring, Dragon's Hoard materialized onto one of his fingers as he entered what he deemed Loot Mode. His last venture into the area revealed he was more than able to clear it with out the aid of his regular kit. His health steadily climbed as did his energy. So long as the latter was back to full, he should be in no danger from here on out. "Let's not fret the -

Wulfrin charged Cerberus, Inferno Rage for the last time, his blade raking across the massive canine's digital form with an equal amount of ferocity and precision. At last the entirety of Cerberus burst into a cascading array of digital fractals. Wulfrin fell to his knees almost immediately after out of sheer exhaustion. His energy was low. His health pool was lower. To make matters worse he was staring directly into the hellish landscape that he had come for. "Well that was eventful," Wulfrin sighed as he surveyed his surroundings. "All that remains now is the Bleeding Citadel." "Yo -

Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
The dominos were set up perfectly for Wulfrin to achieve victory. He charged forward and wrapped up the three Infernal Hellhounds and the right most head of Cerberus, Inferno Rage in an AoE stun art. It was an unneccessary use of the skill as all the targets were immune to the stun, but they weren't going to get an attack anyway as the three hellhounds and Cerberus's right head fell limp to Wulfrin's volley. That left the middle head for Wulfrin to face. Wulfrin anticipated the attack from his singular target and effortlessly dodged Cerberus's frantic last attack towards the swordsman. The boa -

[F22 | R5 Cook] Fondante's Inferno | Open
Wulfrin replied to KnightessCiela's topic in Merchants and Shops
"Hey uh..." Wulfrin announced himself as he entered the familiar kitchen of Fondante's Inferno through the back entrance. "I've got a favor to ask." His darling wife was slaving over another beautiful assortment of deserts and pastries, as was her usual routine. Wulfrin, as was his routine, snagged one of the treats for some "quality assurance testing". "So uh..." He continued with his mouth full of frosted cupcake. "If you still have that demonic shard from your gathering quest, do you think I could bother you to use it on me? It would be going towards a reusable charcuterie board k -
[BR-F28] Paving the Way to Floor 29 [Team 2: Freyd]
Wulfrin replied to Plot Master's topic in The Frontlines
Wulfrin was still in laser focus mode, but he could have sworn he saw Freyd continuing to torment Callisto as if nothing had happened. The only explanation Wulfrin had was their shared shill Shades of the Gemini, but it's abilities were barred from events like raids. The whole situation made no sense, and so long as no one took notice, that would solidify that Freyd's "ghost" had just joined his ever-growing chorus of spectral incarnations of his sins. Callisto was no longer playing around, it was desperate and looking for a chance to escape. Like the previous round it took a stance sugge -

Wulfrin returned to the AoE gameplan as he struck the left head of Cerberus, Inferno Rage and the three Infernal Hellhounds. The hellhounds reeled from the stunning strike whil the left head of Cerberus fell limp in defeat. The two remaining heads lashed out towards Wulfrin with only one being able to land a blow on Wulfrin's avatar. His health continued to deplete at an uncomfortable rate. Wulfrin himself was now in a danger zone of his own. His own health pool was approaching the red. The enemy opposition that Wulfrin faced was already seeing significant decline in numbers. The Hellhound rei -
[PP-PT-F01] [ASSIST] Debt Collecting...Again <<The First Few Lessons>>
Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
"I think they're doing pretty well so far," Wulfrin said to himself as he continued to swat away boarlets that desperately tried to attack him. "Remember you each only need three each. The tranquilizers can help if you have an opening as they will immediately knock them unconscious." Pesky things stood no chance at that though. The downside was they were out pacing his battle healing, so at some point Wulfrin would likely have to clear the field. Not an ideal scenario, as it would actually slow them down, but at the very least it would allow him the chance to recover. Wulfrin had brought -

[SP-F09] The Bleeding Citadel | <<Gate Keeper of Fire>>
Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
Wulfrin struck the right most head for the last time as Cerberus, Inferno Rage let loose a mighty roar. The gat behind it was flung open revealing the expanse of Avernus beyond it. Three more Hellhounds made their way through as Wulfrin recovered from his Sword Art. Cerberus's flesh flared with a brighter intensity that Wulfrin merely scoffed at. The fireproof on his armor was going to negate any fire damage that would come his way, so unless the boss got his damage buffed, Wulfrin had nothing to worry about. The new Infernal Hellhounds approached Wulfrin. One of them managed to make use of Wu -

One head remined out of its target range, so it became the next target. Wulfrin's blade carved into the right head with similar precision to the previous heads. In between strikes Wulfrin eyed his health carefully. His own HP was approaching his personal danger zone of half. His left had drifted into the deep pockets of his armor and pulled out a small healing crystal that had been keeping stashed away for the raid. He had hoped not to dip into his stash, but he had no choice. Each attack from Cerberus, Inferno Rage was devastating enough to warrant extra caution. Wulfrin had chosen his loadou -

Wulfrin continued his intrricate ballet of sword play around Cerberus, Inferno Rage. His blade continued to dance across the hide of his infernal canine foe. Every strike continued to drop the health points of the middle head. Eventually its health bar hit the critical point. Wulfrin immediately ceased his assault as to avoid killing the middle head. In the post art freeze though, Wulfrin found himself improperly positioned. It didn't help that Cerberus was changing attack patterns. Wulfrin found himself getting pincer attacked by the middle and right heads both finding purchase in Wulfrin's d -
[SP-F09] The Bleeding Citadel | <<Gate Keeper of Fire>>
Wulfrin replied to Wulfrin's topic in Beginner Floors
"Step one complete," Wulfrin mumbled through labored breaths as he readied another attack. "Just don't hit the leftmost head." Wulfrin had to change up tactics now. Each head was too large for him to AoE, not that he'd want to anyway. The added part of Cerberus, Inferno Rage being immune to stuns meant his go to attack would have to be the basic sword arts available to all players. Wulfrin focused in on the middle head. In his mind is was simple focus on one head at a time, and most importantly don't get hit. Wulfrin's blade carved through the flesh of Cerberus's middle head with ease, th
