  1. One of the vines managed to get the jump on Ciela, lifting her into the air. Ciela gritted her teeth as she hung upside down, the vines tightening around her ankles and swinging her like a pendulum. She had been doing more damage to these relentless plants with the thorns on her armor than with her actual weapon, but now they'd turned the tables. Suspended midair, she momentarily cursed her lapse in focus. "Really this is how it's gonna be?" Muttering under her breath, the frustration rising as she gripped her sword. The vines creaked and twisted, pulling her higher. Her head was spinning
  2. She smiled at Nymoria, "You know it! With Wulfrin out helping frontliners, I figured I'd do the same." As Nymoria introduced her, she smiled and waved. She signed over to Nym, "Also since when did I go from being book girl to the Pink Knightess? I'm not complaining, mind you, just curious." She chuckled. After a moment, the team finally approached the Wasp Queen, which was their strike team's specific target. Ciela let Nym, Kana, and Caliburn go first so she could do her tanking thing. You could tell from the look on her face that she was excited, I'll actually get to tank for the first t
  3. Ciela returned back to the tea shop so she could pick up her order from Kingsley. "Thank you so much for fulfilling my request. I know it was a strange one. But, I really appreciate it and so will Wulfrin." She picked up the box and stored it away. "I'm actually going to take some of your teas." Ciela smiled at Kingsley, "I'll take one Fortaleza Chai and one Imperial Quarter Blend. I don't wanna take all of your stock so I'll leave it at that for now." Ciela waved at Kingsley and headed back to her home on Floor 22. * * * Picking up order x5 vanilla extract| TIERLESS PERFECT POT
  4. Ciela looked at both Wulfrin and Freyd in confusion. She wouldn't admit it to them but they were basically speaking gibberish to her. She knew as long as Freyd was here, there wasn't any reason to be a-freyd. She chuckled to herself at the pun. Determined to stick close to Freyd and Wulfrin, she was careful not to wander off. She knew that staying together was the best way to navigate this unfamiliar place, and she was more curious than concerned about what lay ahead. What would they run into, who would they meet? "So, Ugzeke—is he like the other creatures we’ve faced on past quests?
  5. Ciela rolled out of bed, groggy but alert enough to catch Mina’s message popping up in front of her. She moved slowly at first, taking her time to make her way in the kitchen. She prepared a few quick snacks and pack a simple lunch for the day. A glance at the clock made her freeze. 11 o'clock already? Seriously!? She glanced down at her pajamas, letting out a groan before facepalming. There was no way she could show up at the beach dressed like this, although she knew Mina or Freyd might get a kick out of her bunny slippers. In a hurry, Ciela grabbed a red shirt from Wulfrin’s dresser an
  6. Ciela was exhausted, and it was evident in her expression. "Good job, honey," she muttered, the fatigue weighing heavily on her. The relentless heat was starting to take its toll. She reached for the metal canteen she had brought, padded to keep the ice water cool. But as she took a sip, she realized the water had become just as hot as the air around them. So much for staying refreshed, she grimaced at the lukewarm drink. With a tired sigh, she looked over at Wulfrin, her eyes reflecting her weariness. "We’re done now, right? Can we go home?" she asked, her voice carrying a hint of desper
  7. Ciela lunged forward once more, determined to strike down the final bandit, but he deftly evaded her attack, slipping past her with surprising agility. The bandit retaliated quickly, his scimitar flashing through the air as he aimed a blow at her. Reacting instinctively, Ciela raised her shield just in time, the metal clanging loudly as it absorbed the impact. Frustration simmered beneath her calm exterior as she locked eyes with her opponent. "I’m ready for this to be over," she muttered, her voice tinged with impatience. "You’re nothing but a nuisance." Her gaze was steely, unwavering a
  8. Wulfrin had told Ciela about a quaint little tea shop nestled on Floor 28. As she approached it, she was met with the feeling of fall. She reveled in it a moment and walked inside where it was even cozier. "Hello? I've come to put in a request for some crafter's respite potions." She pulled out a little paper and waited for Kingsley to pop out from somewhere. As Kingsley popped out from the back of the shop, she handed off the paper to him and smiled. "Is there any way I could get these? I'm not sure how much they cost but I'm willing to pay whatever the cost." * * * Ordering: 5 Cr
  9. "That was so strange. Why do they just disappear like that? It totally breaks the realism!" Ciela muttered, shaking her fist at the sky in mock frustration. She paused for a moment, lost in thought, but the sounds of approaching bandits quickly pulled her back to reality. Wulfrin had already struck most of them, leaving them dazed and stunned. One of the bandits, however, appeared to be more severely injured than the others. Seizing the opportunity, Ciela moved in swiftly, her sword cutting through the air in a wide arc, aiming to take down as many as she could. Most of the bandits m
  10. "Thank goodness," Ciela muttered as she found a rock offering a bit of shade. She sank into the sand, leaning against it with a sigh. "I’m so ready to be out of this cursed desert." She closed her eyes briefly, savoring the moment of rest, but was soon interrupted by Zamek’s voice. Reluctantly, she stood and walked over to where Wulfrin and Zamek were gathered. "Ah, here it is," the elderly man said, dropping to his knees beside a cluster of rocks. Despite his frail condition, he mustered all his remaining strength to dig into the sand. His calloused hands trembled as he pushed the grains
  11. It wasn't long after Ciela finished her last order that the mixer was finally done making Wulfrin's request. She pulled the cookie dough out the mixer and rolled the dough up into little balls. She put them in little cellophane wrappers and tied them shut with little bows. She met Wulfrin back at the counter and handed him the tin. "Here you go my love. I know how much you love cookie dough so I made some that can be baked if you ever want me to bake them for you." She placed a kiss on his cheek and fixed her display case. * * * Items ready for pickup: [x6] Extra Chocolatey Chunky

  13. It took a while, but she finished the batch of Honey cookies that was requested. Ciela always baked love into her creations. This order was the biggest she's gotten so far, but she enjoyed making it. She worried about making Nari wait for the cookies and hoped she'd partake in the refreshments she laid out in the dining area. Each simple honey cookie was golden brown on the bottom with a soft core. The addition of more honey made them sweeter, a delight for any sweet tooth. As a final touch, each cookie was adorned with a drizzle of honey in the shape of a heart, adding a touch of charm and ca
  14. Ciela watched the bandits retreat, their figures gradually swallowed by the swirling sands. Her grip on the sword tightened momentarily before she sheathed it, her mind racing with thoughts of their next move. Wulfrin's concern was palpable, and she shared it. The desert was unforgiving, and the sandstorm's relentless assault was more than just a visual hindrance. It was a lethal force that could wear them down if they didn’t stay ahead of it. She glanced at her own HP gauge, noticing the drop and the lack of regeneration. This was a game-changer. The sandstorm wasn’t just a passive obsta
  15. Ciela was startled by Wulfrin's sudden shouting and watched intently as he confronted one of the bandit leaders. He had previously told her about these troublemakers; they were the same ones who had given him a hard time while he was searching for Solaris. The memory of his stories fueled her resolve. Seeing an opportunity in the chaos caused by the swirling sandstorm, she quickly devised a plan. Positioned at the back of the group, she crouched low and began to stealthily make her way towards the confrontation. The howling wind and blinding sand provided perfect cover for her movements.
  16. Ciela had woken up this morning by Wulfrin attempting to sneak out of the house and attempting to not wake her. After some prying from Ciela, he divulged about the labyrinth boss being defeated and how he was heading out to some coordinates given to him by Morningstar and how he assumed that it was probably related to some kind of grinding for materials to get ready to clear Floor 28. Wulfrin told her as he headed out the door he'd pass her name along to the frontliners so she could help if she wanted to. She got ready and donned her armor, and shortly after she'd received a message from
  17. Ciela chuckled at Morningstar and Wulfrin enjoying the food she made. "I'm just as good a cook in real life. The system helps with cooking things to perfection. Maybe once this is all over we can all meet up and have some kind of potluck or family reunion but friends instead. I dunno what that would be called." She pondered for a moment. "I guess the best way to name it would be friendsunion. I feel like that sounds dumb though." She curled her lip and raised her eyebrows in confusion. The look of confusion wiped from her face, "All I know is that I definitely wanna hang out with you both in r
  18. Ciela continued her snowman, just putting the little buttons and smoothing out the edges. She heard a slight whistle noise as Wulfrin collided into her freshly built snowman. Ciela glared at Wulfrin, as she looked down at him covered in the corpse of her freshly built snowman. "I-I was gonna name him Kenton. I even had a little hat and everything." Ciela pulled out a tiny cowboy hat that fit perfectly in the palm of her hand. Ciela kicked a bit of snow at Wulfrin. "Now I have to think of a new name." She crossed her arms and pouted. Once Wulfrin had gotten up from his slaughter, She began to r
  19. "I'm sure Koko will be fine." Ciela furrowed her brow. "I'm more worried about Choshi. It's very hard for a mother to recover from losing their child, NPC or not." With how inconsolable Choshi was when she only thought Koko was missing, she didn't even wanna think about how Choshi would react if they managed to not find Koko and have to return to Choshi without Koko. As Ciela and Etherial finally caught up with Wulfrin, "No luck finding her either?" She called out once more for Koko, "Koko! If you can hear this follow my voice, your mom is worried! It's time to come home!" Ciela listened
  20. "Thank you Star, honestly it wasn't expected. Wulfrin literally proposed to me with my armor." She laughed and looked over to Wulfrin. "He's also been over here from when he was at my shop. Morningstar was my first ever customer." As Wulfrin stated to make themselves at home, Ciela chuckled. There was almost a fort of pillows and blankets on his couch from where she set up camp in his living room. "I already have. Anyway, I'll make us some lunch." Ciela donned her apron and quickly whipped the trio up some lunch. In her mind it was nothing too fancy. She gave Morningstar a tin with s
  21. Ciela stepped just inside the entrance of the cave just to spite Wulfrin's warning. She's nothing if not extremely stubborn. She waited for the all clear sign, as she did she read her book that she's been working on for a while. As Wulfrin gave the all clear Ciela stepped further in, motioning for Etherial to follow. She followed the wall and yelled out to Wulfrin, using that to find him in the cave. As she and Etherial finally caught up with Wulfrin, she went further and yelled for Koko. After a moment she could've sworn she saw a child, but as she approached she realized that it was ju
  22. As the Funky Monkey fell, Ciela let out a soft sigh of relief. She relaxed slightly and returned her sword and shield to her back. "Well that's one of the extra tech arts unlocked, many more to go." She let out an exasperated sigh. After Star and Wulfrin shook Sewallus' hand, she followed suit. "Thank you for your company Sewallus." Ciela watched as Sewallus left the trio and headed into the forest. Ciela smiled at Wulfrin's ramblings. "I'd be down for lunch. Whether we go to a shop or I make it at Wulfrin's house. I'm impartial to what we do honestly." Ciela fiddled with her menus for a
  23. Ciela had managed to stay behind Zamek, knowing it would be unwise to have the older gentleman all the way at the back of the troupe. She was a slight bit frustrated by how slow he moved, but she kept it to herself. She kicked the sand off of her sandals and as she did she noticed something sparkling at her feet. She bent down to pick it up and dusted it off. She found a brooch that was shaped like a heart and showed Wulfrin. "Look what I found!" She handed it off to him and let him look at it. She was giddy and after Wulfrin finished looking at it she pinned it to the bandana on her head
