  1. The first creature fell beneath her continuous assault as she launched herself back into the fray that was the forms of the things. Her sabre danced around, slashing at each and managing to land a pair of strikes, before she was driven backwards by the responding attacks of the creatures, their arms and legs slashing at her as she tried to avoid each and every single one of them – a task which quickly became more and more difficult. Even as the shards of the creature floated on the air towards the ground, Nymoria felt another of the claw-like legs slam into her, slashing through her arm
  2. Her sabre danced around the creatures, trying to parry the various bladed arms and legs that suddenly lashed out towards her. She danced as much as she could around the creatures, trying to avoid their appendages in a manner that would allow her to strike back nearly as much as she was being attack, but she quickly found herself in a losing match against their speed, stamina and numbers. Slowing herself slightly, she forced herself to drop back into a defensive movement, giving ground where she had once been pressing forwards, determined to lure them into a false sense of security. She g
  3. Lovely felt like an underwhelming statement to Nymoria as she stared out across the fields, taking in the view before her with a soft sigh. Everything seemed, in its own unique way, to be absolutely perfect to Nymoria’s eyes. The flowing grasses met with pond, river, tree and brush in a manner that she could only expect from a piece of media. The perfect was entirely unreal, even if she could see it before her and touch it. It was, in a way, a reminder of her current situation in many ways. Softly, letting her eyes pass over the area that she could see from her current vantage point, she turne
  4. Nature's Treasure | Quest Nymoria’s morning had started off as so many others often did; awakening to the vibration of the alarm, rolling reluctantly out of bed in the hopes that the rays of the sun shining through the half-translucent curtains covering the window were nothing more than a lie, before realising that there was no resisting the call of the morning sunshine. The difference, this morning, had come in the appearance of a small white and brown face poking at her, demanding her departure from the bed and the start of their day in earnest. She’d managed to shoo away the face lon
  5. Nymoria strolled into the tea shop, remembering the locale and owner from when she had helped him pass through the very first quest that most players engaged with. She glanced over the shop - noticing the inviting aromas that touched and tickled her nose as she glanced over all of the area. She passed her hand over a few small displays, before smiling at the elderly man and signing towards him. Hey, Kingsley. It has been some time, but it is good to see you. I was hoping to grab some teas, and it looks like you have the perfect place for it. It smells like home. She added the last part wi
  6. For the first time since their departure from the city, Nemo turned towards Nymoria and showed an awareness that he hadn’t previously displayed. His voice carried an edge of concern, possibly hesitation to it, that struck Nymoria as more and more human. “I’ve not offended you in some way, have I?” Caught off guard, it took her a moment to respond as she collected her thoughts and registered the fact that he’d been worried about her silence. Or, at least, she assumed it had been in relation to her silence. Her hands moved in response, a pleasant, façade of a smile streaking across her fac
  7. Somewhere along the way, Nemo suddenly became extremely talkative. His voice carried against the backdrop oddly, sounding both loud and muffled all at the same time. An occurrence that Nymoria placed upon the otherwise abandoned and haunted feeling that the forest seemed to give off as an environment. More oddly, at least to her own awareness and consideration, was the fact that his voice seemed to be perfectly placed to reach her whether she was staring directly at him or not – a fact that she found unsettling, considering her general experience with hearing. “These are uncommon in most

  10. Nemo kept a strong pace as they made their way across the darkened lands that were the wilds of the tenth floor. The entire area, overgrown from the looks of it, seemed somehow more abandoned and disparaging than the city itself had been. Nymoria found herself, on more occasions than one, sliding closer to her escort in a natural response to the environment around her. The areas that they passed through seemed to be an ever-pressing mixture of deadwoods, overgrown brush, and assorted forest like vegetation; all of it pressing in towards Nymoria and Nemo in an almost threatening way. Bitin
  11. Nymoria had spent a large portion of her morning wandering from floor to floor, asking those few players and semi aware NPCs whether they had seen the man named Nemo. Various reports had seen her rushing to new areas, only to be left in disappointment when she arrived and found no sign of her quarry. It had been with annoyance and a slight desire to get away from her most recent encounter with a less than friendly player on the eighth floor, that has driven her into the tenth. As she had stepped off the teleporter pad and into the cobblestone off the main walkway, Nymoria had felt a col
  12. Nature's Treasure | Quest Nymoria scrolled through the various quests available to her, noting that she had completed more than a few in the recent weeks. She smiled at the idea, once more, of how far she had come with all of her work. Between her quick progress through her various professions, the increase in her levels – which had even led her to being able to single handedly take out the three headed dog Cerberus with ease, in a single blow no less – as well as the continuous increase in her funds and available resources, Nymoria couldn’t help but wonder at the change in her life. She s
  13. She’d met them in a flurry of strikes and slashes, her sabre parrying each of their attempts to strike her even as it returned her assault in turn. The vultures barely had time to register their demise before they had exploded into shards, leaving Nymoria standing and panting in success as the field was once more empty, alone aside from herself and Musei’s presence. The weasel had, at some point, managed to find more loot within the area and returned to Nymoria’s shoulder with a pleased appearance across his otherwise weasely face. She shook her head in limited surprise, content that they
  14. Her aim was true as her strike lashed out across the collection of vultures, cutting into them with precision and near perfection. The blade dipped further into the form of one of the creatures as she passed through and beyond towards the next, leaving a mark of her bleeding skill across it as she continued to slam its final friend. Landing on her feet, Nymoria stepped backwards and allowed some space to grow between herself and the creatures, knowing that timing was everything. The few seconds they were stunned would pass quickly, leaving her fighting against fully autonomous forms once
  15. Her steps had carried her towards the base of the hills that contained the village she needed to return to, and it was here that she had come to a stop. Above her, standing on the edges of a nearby edge, were a small flock of vulture like creatures that seemed to stare down at Nymoria with a vicious eye. She’d stopped several steps outside of their obvious sphere of influence, considering her next step carefully. The creatures didn’t look overtly dangerous, but she’d long ago learnt not to judge anything simply by its appearance. Still, she’d defeated the big bad Cerberus, and was feelin
  16. A divergence in the tunnel had caught Nymoria’s attention, bringing her regular pace to a sudden halt as she stared down the newly found tunnel entrance. The area had been angled in such a way that it was clearly invisible to the passing eye on the way into the cave system. She’d been peering down it for a few moments when she suddenly realised what it was; an entrance to a dungeon that could be used to obtain various loots and other goods. Dangerous, but highly profitable if she made her way into it. Highly dangerous, even with how well I’ve been doing as of late. It’s not worth throwin
  17. A singular gem, larger than the others she had found, had rested where the three headed dog had once been. Its core contained a flowing kaleidoscope of oranges, reds and blues that seemed to resemble the flames within a fire. Nymoria stared at the piece for a few breaths before placing it gently into her inventory, wondering if the piece was some sort of rare treasure, rather than a simple gemstone to be used in her artisan’s work. Either way, she knew that it was a lucky find, and one that she would put to good use when the time came. Another quick glance confirmed nothing else in the
  18. Nymoria couldn’t help but grin in excitement at the success of her findings. She’d already found more than she’d expected, but as she began canvassing the central area of the chamber, she nearly tripped over the collection of gemstones and col that had been piled in one small area; a plethora of goods just waiting for her to arrive and locate them all. Her excitement was only accented as Musei returned with a various collection in his own teeth, only making their search more worthwhile. This was worth hanging around for. Definitely. With this…well, with this I’m doing so well. Alright, o
  19. Her success seemed to have been running out as she neared the far side of the cavern from where she had begun. Turning her gaze towards the centre, as much to confirm that the form of Cerberus still had not reappeared as to take in the general landscape itself, Nymoria decided that the time had come to attempt searching the very centre of the cavern – the spot where Cerberus had laid upon her original entry into the area. She’d been putting it off as she moved around the outside, slowly circling her way closer and closer, but as her hands came up empty once more, she knew that she couldn’t ign
