  1. The drawing that passed her view was laughable at best. It almost looked as if a child had drawn it. If it weren't for the side commentary on it's intended purpose, KnightinGale would have thought it was sort of weir Rorschach test.. KnightinGale held back a stifled snicker as she moved the notepad down the line. She had other projects that needed her immediate attention. Bliss clambered up the stairs behind her to what was left of a small armory. Five cannons stood in various states of disrepair and in only a few short moments blondie had managed to get al five operational with minimal effort
  2. "Glad to see you're still kicking," KnightinGale replied as Riardon pulled himself from the rubble. "It's just as you said. Our position got overrun. We managed to fall back to here, but it definitely easy. There are way too many of those freaks out there for any players to take out. It's almost like every monster on the floor has been funneled directly at our faces." KnightinGale sighed as she continued to sit on the verge of exhaustion. She had held the rear vanguard of their group so they could safely retreat, but it had taken its toll. Her body was heavy. It refused to obey her comman
  3. "Get down!" KnightinGale called out as a massive boulder came careening down from the sky aimed perfectly at their beautiful creation. KnightinGale leapt away from the tensioner as the trebuchet splintered into pieces. "God damn it!" Another boulder sailed overhead, this time aimed towards the Tracker's Alliance headquarters. KnightinGale watched as the watch tower began to buckle and come crashing down. Her attention quickly snapped back to the wave of mobs coming their way. Astra, Bliss's supposed boyfriend and new player to their little group, was about to be overwhelmed. In one quick
  4. "Right," KnightinGale sighed as she brought up the rear of the mountain team. "Guess we should get this little training session rolling." KnightinGale pushed to the front of the party as they made their way into the temple. It wasn't long before a wizened monk made their way over to greet them. "Welcome to my temple," The monk bowed as he spoke. "I am Master Yunxiang. I will only train those who prove themselves first. To qualify you must demonstrate your skills in three tests. The first, physical endurance; one's body must be honed if it is to become a weapon. The second, mental for
  5. "Right so alchemist then," KnightinGale huffed as she shifted her weight. "Guess I'll take point." Eve did just that. Having been a resident of floor 1 she had a fairly decent idea of the Town of Beginnings's layout. Despite getting turned around a couple times, she eventually managed to guide the group of four players to the rather quaint alchemist shop she had seen a handful of times before. As she crossed the threshold, the cocaphony of scents of unfinished brews filled her nostrils. It was like walking into a perfume shop in a mall and very much not her usual dive. "Oh hello," a
  6. A flash of white surged past KnightinGale as she moved to take on another wave of shambling blobs of eldritch tendrils threatening to undo her hard work yet again. As the shower of light particles filled the area, KnightinGale was left speechless. Before her, a white haired young man in a stark white coat that stood out against the bleak battlefield around them. Eve cracked a smile, an odd thing for her when her sister wasn't around. Her hammer dropped to her side with a heavy thud as she turned back to focus on the trebuchet at hand. "Bliss," KnightinGale questioned as her attention drif
  7. The voice, only slightly familiar to her, crossed KnightinGale's ears just as she pushed another monster back behind the line of defense they had established. As she turned to finally adress this newcomer to her defensive position, it finally clicked who she was looking at. It was Bliss, the blonde haired nervous girl from that beach party KnightinGale had so stealthily left early from. Eve simply gave a smile before whipping around and driving her hammer right into the chest of another advancing monster. "Little under dressed don't ya think?" KnightinGale teased as her attention returned
  8. KnightinGale was holding the line to the best of her ability, but even she was starting to waver slightly. For now though she was enjoying a moment of rest as the rampaging mobs seemed to take a small break from ravaging her small section of the defenses. For now all seemed quiet. Her small steam had suffered a few casualties during the last push by the shambling cosmic horror rejects this floor called monsters. Potions were being passed around from the few traveling medical players, but even those were scarce. For now though her team held firm and prepared to make way back to their posts just
  9. "HOLD YOUR GROUND!" Eve's orders echoed from the grounds of the Tracker's Alliance's Forward Operating Base on Floor 29. She and Riardon were in charge of helming the defensive front closer to the teleport gate. The grotesque horror monsters were slamming into the makeshift barricades faster than they could build them. KnightinGale was working overtime just to keep up. Even if I had another mechanic like myself, I fear we wouldn't be able to keep up. Her experience as a grease monkey in the real world allowed her to operate well under these tense scenarios. Her shop was always busy and od
  10. The jungle was far and above KnightinGale's comfort zone. She was a city gal that spent most of her time elbow deep in something with an engine. As a grease monkey, the jungle was about as far from home as she could be. Her armor weighed her down and made it difficult to traverse the overgrown terrain, and not having a bladed weapon didn't help her out either. She made her best effort to follow the path carved out by her party members, but even with those precautions still found herself getting caught a time or two. When they arrived at the boss arena, Wulfrin immediately jumped into acti
  11. "That's it?" KnightinGale scoffed as the injured soldier provided basically the same information as the first guard they had talked to. "That's really all you can tell us?" "Look miss," Sewallus sighed as he stood up, his wounds fully tended to. "As much as I'd like to give you more, there really isn't much about him. The Monkey King is a giant angry gorilla that occasionally terrorizes our small village. Sometimes we can muster up enough of a force to take it down. Most of the time we're forced to retreat." "Well this was a waste. Guess we'll just have to rely on our own guide."
  12. "I bet he plans to take at least you through something called FTK," KnightinGale replied as she shifted her weigh onto her back foot, lowering her guard slightly. "Pretty sure that was the last thing he took me on. Boss spit out tons of exp and I just sat and watched. It's where I met Firefly and served as my introduction to the trackers." "Why did you go to the trackers anyway?" Riardon questioned as he struggled to his feet. "I'm not sure why, but you don't seem like the rumor chasing type." "Mainly just for self improvement. I barely understand video games, let alone this whole me
  13. With the ongoing battle KnightinGale carefully made her way to Riardon. The old man had gone and got himself captured, and yet she was relegated to the rescue effort. While she knew it was the smartest play, she still wished to be in the action. She hated being on the sidelines. Hell she wanted to build her skills in such a way to be the one taking all the hits. It was a lifestyle for her, especially considering all the protecting she had to do back in the real world. With the sharp edge of her shield, she slashed open the ropes binding Riardon to his post. Carefully she helped him to his feet
  14. The plan she was given was simple. Wulfrin and KnightinGale had spotted the boss dragging Riardon back towards the plaza, and as Eve would come to find out, Wulfrin was already scheming. Wulfrin was to stroll right up to the boss and grab his attention. All the while Eve was supposed to stay on the outskirts of the plaza. Her goal was to get Riardon loose and clear of the arena. She had a higher durability and could withstand any unaccounted for threats, so she would be responsible for both of their safety. If thing went south, which Wulfrin was adamant they wouldn't, Eve was to get herself an
  15. "Well look at that," Eve smirked as she saw the flaming bird round the corner with the final group of bandits shortly behind. "You're coming right to me. Must be my birthday." As the bandits got closer, Eve raised her hammer. With a heavy impact, tremors erupted causing the bandits to lose their footing. With the bandits before her on the ground, she approached them, intent on holding them here until their rampaging swordsman could arrive. "Where's your boss?" KnightinGale demanded as she stood over one of the bandits. "And answer honestly. I'm not in the best of moods right now."
