Well then, I think I found the right place to open my shop." Nobuyuki smiled a little inside, as he readied to head out on the expedition on the third floor for the first time. He had come here multiple times, to tend to his shop, or interacted with the NPCs of this floor. Elves are pleasant to talk with, or at least that's what Nobuyuki think. One day strolling around, he came across An NPC blacksmith shop. The shop owner have an exclamation mark over his head, which rouse his curiosity up. Upon investigating, The shop owner soon came up with a quest of asking him to gather materials for a free equipment of his choice. Of course, anyone in their right mind would accept it. And so here he is, venturing in the misty forest, trying to find the dark elves that dropped the material he needed. Hopefully I don't die here." He smiled nervously, as the search continues on

"There she is." Nobuyuki told himself, as he spot one of the dark elves standing in the misty jungle.Slowly step out into the opening, He stood before the elf, weapon readied in hand. He ran toward the elf, as his sword art activated. With a quick swing, he cut the elf through the mid section, then quickly duck under and land another strike to the back. The dark elf was unable to hit Nobuyuki with her knife, jump out of the way before it had a chance to retaliate. Nobuyuki wield his blade in hand and pointed at the elf, focusing on her, ready to strike one more time.

As confident as he is, Nobuyuki has made a slight mistake of not paying attention. The moment he charged in, his foot immediately got caught by a tree root under the mist. He tripped over and fallen onto the ground straight onto his face. The dark elf saw the chance and jumped in for the kill. Quickly, Nobuyuki rolled out of the way. He got back to his feet, cursed his sloppiness and readied for a retry. "It could've been a broken nose right there, if this is the real world. Sometime, I really love SAO."

Nobuyuki stood and waited for the elf to attack. The moment it leap in the air for the attack, he goes in as well. The knife the elf wield provide a much shorter range, therefore a large disadvantage. Nobuyuki sword drove through the elf, as it fallen down from the air. "Simple as that." He said to himself, gather the material needed and pack up, leaving to find another dark elf. There should be more around.

"Another dark elf, this time with a bow and arrow." Nobuyuki stopped, looking straight ahead at the dark elf standing on the clear path. She seemed to be looking straight at him, and before he even knew about it, an arrow flew fast toward him. "@#$%" Nobuyuki tried to dodge it, but it was too late. The attack hit him in the shoulder. Although it wasn't hurt, it did put him into a high alert state. Readied his sword and hide behind a tree, he planned his attack on the elf. As quick as he could, Nobuyuki jumped out of the cover, then quickly duck aside as an arrow flew by. As fast as he could, Nobuyuki charged his sword art and swung at the enemy, before come back for another quick attack. Then, he jumped back, created some good distance, and hide behind a tree, to avoid getting shot.

The moment Nobuyuki peep his head out for a quick check, immediately an arrow flew toward his direction. The arrow hit the tree that he was hiding behind. "Holy crap that's close." He told himself, pulling him back to the hiding place. Finally, Nobuyuki ran out of the hiding spot, swung his sword. The elf has already left the place. As quick as he could, Nobuyuki get down behind a small boulder, hiding from yet another arrow flew toward his direction. He scanned the area surrounding him, finally found the dark elf standing in a clearing nearby.

"Now!" Nobuyuki saw his chance once the elf released it arrow. He ducked under, and ran toward the elf. A single attack was enough to take the elf down. He swung his blade in a slight slant angle, aiming at the dark elf's body. with the elf fell down and burst into million of pieces, Nobuyuki stood up and sheathed his sword to the sheath behind his back. "Well, I think that's that. Let's just go around for some more. It's still early in the day." He shrugged, continued down the dirt trail.

While Nobuyuki walked around, he tried his best to find what could he use for material for his shop. The misty forest have not much valuable, only trees, vines, and insect. With a sigh on disappointment, Nobuyuki sat down next to a tree and rested for a moment. Regain his energy and his health points. While doing that, Nobuyuki decided to have a little snack, taking a cookie from his bag and took a bite out of it.

While walking in the misty forest, Nobuyuki has yet to notice a huge spider luring on top of the tree, readied to strike him. Once the spider dropped down, Nobuyuki's eyes widen, his body froze. Facing his worst fear, he could move any of his muscle. Then, with a sudden cry, Nobuyuki screaming on the top of his lung, drew his sword and frantically run toward the monster. With his sword art charged completely, Nobuyuki swung his blade in an uppercut arc. The hit landed in the spider's face, as it was knocked off the ground. The thing glowed then burst into million pieces that faded in the air before it can touch the ground. "Never... again." Nobuyuki's eyes still widen, as he sheathed his sword and ran away as fast as he could.

For a while longer, Nobuyuki walked on the dirt trail. He looked over the side of the road to check if there's anything useful for him to gather. He saw a patch of small edible mushrooms. Definitely something that he can make soup or stew out of, Nobuyuki without hesitation harvested the thing for later usages. Smiling happily, Nobuyuki continued on the dirt road, exploring more lands.

Walking around some more, Nobuyuki spotted some more rare material that was recommended in the cook book. "These would make good spice for the food. Better collect them!" Nobuyuki quickly sat down on the trodden dirt road, and quickly harvested the plant. After that, he hummed happily, continued down the road. Nobuyuki was hoping that he would find more for his shop, since he's running on a shortage of materials.

"Well, look at that. Another dark elf... I might as well, there's nothing better to do really." Nobuyuki sighed, grab his blade from behind his back and slowly approached the elf. Once it spotted him, Nobuyuki immediately went in for the attack. He struck his blade downward in a horizontal strike. The elf have no time to react, as it took the full hit to the body. With quick reflex, Nobuyuki jumped out of the way just before the elf could hit him back. He waited for the dark elf to make it move first, then he will retaliate.

When the dark elf made it move and swung it's dagger toward Nobuyuki, he quickly duck under the attack. With a swift swing of his blade, and the sword art active, he went for the kill. Slicing the monster once in the stomach, then another slice in the back, he sheath his sword as the elf burst into million of pieces behind his back. "I'm getting better at this." Nobuyuki exclaimed, as he continued on the road.

"It's getting dark. I should return back to town before it's too late." Nobuyuki sighed, before he turned around and head back to the main settlement on this floor. Lost in the wood at night would be a really bad situation he could get stuck in, since he isn't fond of this place very much. Walking on the trodden dirt trail, he began to think of the time have passed ever since he had joined SAO. This place had changed him somewhat. Nobuyuki has been much more socialize than he is in the real world, then yet again, he still sometimes isolated himself.

On the trodden dirt trail, Nobuyuki was ambushed by a dark elf. From the tree, it leaped down and struck it weapon onto him at his least expected moment. With his guard down, Nobuyuki couldn't drew his weapon out to block the sword in time, however, he did able to retaliate. Before the elf could get away, Nobuyuki drew the sword from his back and strike the dark elf in the body. The slant attack landed, as the elf took some damage like he did. "Is that all you got?" He taunted, stood up from the ground and readied for the elf to strike

When the Elf stopped and enter a more defense stance, Nobuyuki decided to went in for the an attack. To his surprise, the elf stepped a step back, ducked under his swing. With the knife in its hand, the elf made a quick slash in Nobuyuki's face, before tumbled backward, creating distance between both of them. Nobuyuki let out a hiss, as the wound stung on his face. He looked at the elf, focused on his target. With his sword in hand, he went back in.

Nobuyuki went back in, toward the waiting dark elf. Unlike last time, his sword art connected this time, With a wide slant swing, he hit the elf in the midsection, as it returned with a strike in his shoulder. With that, Nobuyuki pushed the dark elf back, creating room for him to think and attack. He saw an opening ahead. Without hesitation, Nobuyuki went in for a the final strike.

Nobuyuki swung his sword, attack the elf's weak point. A loud clang echoed through his ear. The elf was able to parry the attack with it's weapon, and now with the knife in hand, Nobuyuki could see the elf murderous intention. He let his body fell back, just as the blade of the elf's knife glided through. A clutch call, as he leaped back up to his feet, and swung his blade again. "Got cha!" He said aloud, aiming for the dark elf's midsection

The attack landed it mark, a critical strike. The sword thrust right through the Elf's stomach, as it fell and burst to million of pieces, defeated by the warrior. Nobuyuki stood up from the ground, brush himself off from the leaves and grass that had gotten stuck onto him. He then proceeded to walk back to town, as the sun is setting behind him

"Finally! Back to town. Just in time too." Nobuyuki let out a sigh, exhausted from the whole day of travelling. He returned the quest which he had taken. With the promise being said, the blacksmith made him a valent leather coat, warm and comfortable, but still, it provide well protection against the enemies and the environment. "Very well done my friend. I hope we will meet each other later, someday in the near future." With those words, the quest was completed. Rent a room in an inn for the night, Nobuyuki let out another sigh, as he fell onto the soft and comfortable bed, resting from a hard working day. "Tomorrow is going to be a new day." He told to himself, as his eyes slowly drifted shut, and he fell asleep on the warm comfortable bed.
