About: History/personality
Val grew up in a pretty normal home. His dad was a high Class Biologist while his Mother was a more stay at home woman. He had Two sisters and one brother. He, of course, was the youngest of all of them. At school he was a shy, adorable teenager who always felt a little lonely. He was gay and out of the closet but he could never really find a guy for him. This really sat on him. Like weight on his shoulders that he tried to ignore. Other than that he was a great, normal kid. He had a lot of good friends and had nothing really to complain about. Lucky for him, homophobia was a thing of the past in this school. He had two great parents and his siblings were perfectly fine. One was 18 and the other two were already out of the house and living on their own with who ever they were living with. This, really showed how lonely he was, but that didn't make him stop being a happy child.

Advances in technology came around and he heard of the game SAO on the newer kind of VR system Nerve Gear. The suggestion of video games made him happy. He never did feel lonely with all his friends, but being in a crowded room you can still feel lonely at times. He begged and pleaded to get this item and finally, with a lot of pestering, he got the game and the system for it. Around his sixteenth birthday is when he got it and he almost left the party right then to go play it, the prospect of meeting new people really made him happy and he couldn't wait for it. Overjoyed, he entered into the game thinking He, maybe I can meet a really cute guy on here. And when is dinner Apparently, not now and not for a few years, if he makes it that long.
Virtues:

Warm Hearted: Being friendly is just in Valen's nature, and he really can't help it. No matter who you are Valen will probably be nice to you, if he can get over his awkwardness and how shy he really is. Even if you are a criminal he wont judge until he knows what really happened. again, it may seem like flirting but Valen truly does care about people.

Love-able: It is hard not to love Valen. People are naturally drawn to him because he is pretty adorable and a sweet guy. Even though the people he attracts are girls who just want to go shopping and keep calling him their "GBF" he also has some male friends as well. Even though the admirers he gets are not from the guys, he appreciates the people who around him and can call them his friends.

Caring: If you are his friend, please be ready for a lot of "Are you okay?" and "How are you?" Messages. Vale is a very caring person and he can't help it, it is just the way he is. This may come off as flirting but it mostly is just him trying to be there for people who need it. But, it may also be flirting... try your best to separate the two of them.

Flaws:
Submissive: Valen will never been Alpha anything in his life, mostly because he bends to pressure and is too submissive for his own good. He can be the second hand man, the VP, or something that doesn't put him fully in charge. He is a submissive guy that likes someone else calling the shots, but also likes to help out in any possible way he can, just don't make him the leader.

Awkward: I would suggest not going up to Valen if you don't know him and he doesn't know you. The reason being is that on top of being shy, he will stutter, talk fast, and not know what to do. After a while, yes, he does warm up to the person talking to him, but it takes a while and a lot of uncomfortable silences and "Ummmmmmmm..."'s. It takes a while for him to really not talk weird around you, but he is great after that.

Shy: Val, even though he really wishes he could, he could never really push himself to talk to some stranger. His chest would feel weird and he would slowly go back to what ever place he was before he tried talking to them. this has cost him any chance he ever really had at getting a boyfriend, even though that guy was probably not even close to being gay.
