Vladimir wanted nerve gear and SAO for a long time. However Mother Mary, the lady who runs his orphanage, wouldn’t allow it. Vladimir wasn’t exactly her favorite ward. After the police placed him there 9 years ago he got into all kinds of mischief. He was always alone in the house, keeping his distance from the other children. He eventually just went out and with the money he took from Mother Mary bought a little shack and went and stole the nerve gear and SAO. He intends to make it through the game.

Virtues:

Straightforward. He doesn’t lie. Vladimir tends to be blunt with his statements. He doesn’t beat around the bush. He doesn't like to drag on a conversation with people because he feels its a waste of time. Because of this you know you can trust him.

 

Reliable. Vladimir doesn’t lie and hates those who do. He is trustworthy and can be counted on to fulfill his mission. He seldom makes friends but when he does he will do anything to keep them happy. Vladimir will never break a promise he has give . Nor go back on his word. Its just not in him.

 

Protective. Vladimir always put others first. He will do anything he can to help a friend, including lose his life. He has very few people he cares about. And if anyone tries to threaten the ones he cares about he will not even blink before he is confronting them and protecting the ones who are precious to him. Ever since that day 9 years ago he's vowed to never let another loved one die.

 

Flaws:

Violent. Vladimir has a darker side. He turns to violence anytime he gets even a little upset. His past made him that way. His biggest trigger is seeing someone he cares about hurt. Vladimir couldn't care less what happens to him he has no fear of a confrontation, in fact he prefers it. He loves a good fight.

 

Rash. He doesn’t think things through. Vladimir rushes in headstrong without analyzing the situation, in turn putting himself and others in danger often. He tends to think he can survive anything. He is often oblivious to anything except the straightforward challenge and seems to think hitting it is always the answer.

 

He does not trust easily. Vladimirs past has made him wary. He doesn’t trust anyone who he doesn’t know and for this reason has always been a loner. He doesn't want to get close to anyone. He's scared of not being able to protect them. But once he does trust someone he'll stop at nothing to help them.
