[OP-F1] Date Night at The Butcher [PK Accessible]

Recommended Posts

Rules of Engagement: Welcome to Lumiel's establishment named The Butcher. As one would not expect, the name means little to what is actually inside this Restaurant. The outside looks like nothing special right now, but the inside is what will surprise you. As you step inside for the first time you will be greeted by a man named Charles. He will ask you how many people you are with and direct you to a clean table set up that resembles the quality of a Five Star Restaurant, something very fancy and elegant. You would not believe how much effort was put into the shop on the inside as opposed to the outside. You will be seated by Charles, asked for drinks and given a menu. You may order anything from the fancy Rack of Lamb, to your New York Pizza style slices and anything in between. There will be live music thanks to the ever so lovely Loreley. You may communicate and talk among the others at near by tables if you wish, have fun and socialize. But remember you are in a restaurant and your social interaction can only go so far from table to table.

Specific Rules: You may order anything- RP fluff- food wise. The RP will be on-going for 10 Pages. This is not a quick fix, SP get in and get out Thread. If you are looking for something like that, go elsewhere. You may dress as you wish, but again reminding you this is a 5 Star Restaurant, so keep that in mind. Also, since Lumiel is so nice to host such an extravagant event for everyone. 25% of your total Col outcome will go to him at the end of the thread so that he can pay his employees as well as Loreley for giving you all such a wonderful evening of music and entertainment.

Setting: Early Evening, clear skies, wonderful view of a full moon.

Off to the side is a Grand Piano and a Condenser Mic on a simple stand for Loreley.

"How is everything looking, Charles?"
"Quite well, sir. The others are in the back waiting for further instructions. We have everything prepared for tonight. I fine tuned the grand piano myself. The PA seems to be working as well, I had done a mic test earlier to make sure everything was on the up and up."
"Yeah, I heard you singing 'Nothing But a Hound Dog,' up there earlier. Mic test, huh? Hahaha!" Lumiel gave his friend a quick slap on the shoulder, "Alright. Everything is set? Let's get to work..."

Lumiel moved inside the building to the kitchen area where things were smelling perfect, the other employees seemed happy to find work despite their low levels, they had marginally higher cook skills, but Lumiel had a hand for food and he would show the world just how crazy he can get with his creations for the night with the air of his helpers.

After a long day of being trapped in a video game, contemplating life, and not having any friends, Bell walked into a rather cheap looking restaurant, thinking he would find a cheap meal. Instead he found an extravagant, elegantly decorated place that smelled of heaven. He was so enthralled by the decor, that even though he though he couldn't afford it, he just couldn't move. The godly aromas and angelic setting was just too beautiful. Honestly, Bell had never been in such a beautiful restaurant. He stepped a little farther in, eyeing the candlelit tables, and the stage with the piano. He patiently waited as a dapper looking man approached him, then suddenly realized that he probably needed reservations.

Loreley made her way to the Butcher, with Lowenthal at her side. She was wearing a lovely black dress that had been tailored by the man specifically for the event, and had an arm around his as they walked. She looked over at him, sporting a black suit and bowtie, he looked his part for the event as well. Lumiel had given her the coordinates to the place where she was to perform, but honestly if not for the sign that said "The Butcher" on it, she would've thought she had the wrong location. She looked at Lowenthal, a bit concerned that she wasn't actually going to be performing in all that fancy of an establishment, despite what Lumiel had told her. But any fears were quickly dispelled as she entered into the restaurant.

Inside, the establishment was amazing, and there was a very dapper man at the front waiting to greet them. She walked past the person who appeared to be the first patron for the night, smiling at Charles, and giving a light bow to the man. "Hello there, my name is Loreley. I'm the performer for the evening, and this is Lowenthal," she indicated the man in the black suit as she said this, "my plus one."

Lowenthal straightened his tie, making sure it was nice and even. "Really, the place is called 'The Butcher'? Doesn't sound like a Black tie affair place, but as long as you say so." He said, unsure of the event he agreed to go to. He had never heard of it, or of it's owner before. After finishing up, he took Loreley's arm, and escorted her to the place. Lowenthal stood outside it and stared at the outside. He sighed, and opened the door only to have his mind instantly change. Lowenthal let out a short whistle, as he and Loreley stepped inside. "Wow, gotta get him to my place." Lowe said to himself as the door closed behind them. "Good evening, ser." Lowenthal said, bowing his head politely. He escorted Loreley to a table and pulled out a chair for her. "At least, until more patrons arrive. M'Lady." Lowenthal said, trying his best to sound dapper. Lowenthal then unbuttoned his jacket, and took his own seat and awaited for the night to begin.

Loreley gave another light bow to Charles as Lowenthal headed into the restaurant. Loreley nodded at Lowe's gesture, and thanked him, but ended up not taking his seat. "Actually Lowe, I'm going to go ahead and start setting up for the show. I'm sure that everything is properly tuned, but it's better to check and triple check, right?" Loreley then made her way to the place where there sat a grand piano and a mic. The mic was situated in such a way that the piano player would also be able to sing as they did so, and that made Loreley happy. And so, she sat down, and wiggled her fingers over the keys, looking them over. Admittedly she hadn't played piano in a very long time, but she hoped that it was just like riding a bike. And so, she started to move her fingers along the keys, testing their tuning and finding that there was no issue with it.

She turned back to Lowenthal, a glimmer in her eye, "Well, how about I play us a song? Perhaps people will come in if I start playing wonderful music~"
