[PP-F5] Land Shark Attack. <<Blood in the Sand>> (Shizuka)

While Nobuyuki was focused on Shizuka missing the shark in the air, He wasn't notice the shark until it was right above him. Time seemed to stopped at that time. Nobuyuki looked at the incoming monster, plunging down toward him. This would be devastated if the shark landed its attack. Even if Shizuka was there, there might be a chance of her failing to heal, or the healing would take too much time, leaving both vulnerable. "Just focus. Focus, and attack... now!" Nobuyuki didn't hesitate to swing his sword, now glowing bright lime green. The attack pushed both himself and the shark in opposite direction. The shark plunged into the ground, and Nobuyuki tumbled aside. He didn't believe that he have the strength to push something that big aside like that. It's the game, or maybe he's just stronger than he thought, maybe. Nonetheless, he was glad that he attack in time. The Shark's health has already reached the red mark. They only needed a few more hit before they can finish the boss. Standing on his feet, Nobuyuki returned to the monotonous task of listening to the ground, and watch for the point where the shark would emerge.

Shizuka frowned. The battle was becoming less interesting for her by the second. Indeed, she wanted some sort of challenge by tagging along with the lower leveled player but all she had gotten from the battle was really nothing except for an easy experience and she didn't like that. This world can be so boring sometimes. Shizuka thought, uninterested at the scene and turned to look at the sun before realizing that she had better attack now. "Alright shark... Let's see how you can react to such a situation. Please me." Shizuka whispered to herself in a quiet voice. She knew that Tobi was unable to hear her but somehow the shark could. Perhaps because it was a mob and they have super-sensitive senses. Shizuka smirked as the red shark looked towards her, growling as if it had found a new sense of energy now that it had been challenged by the pink-haired girl. "Make this interesting." and with that, Shizuka charged forward, eyes filled with determination and her sword hang by her side, convient for when she needs to raise it and attack her opponent.

At the last moment, Shizuka made a dash towards the left side of the shark. The shark was way too large to react to it efficiently and with that, Shizuka brought down her sword upon the mob, causing it the status of stun to be inflicted upon it. "Urgh... Useless." Shizuka said with a quiet, raspy tone.

"Alright, the shark is stunned, now it's time." Nobuyuki dashed forward. With the shark now stunned, this should be a perfect opportunity for a hit. That is, when his sword glide through the air and clashed onto the shark's skin. A loud clang echoed through the battleground. "What?!" Nobuyuki was startled, wondering what did he hit. Unbeknownst to him, he attack at the shark toughest area. The scales around that place is as hard as iron, rendering his attack to useless, unable to deal damage. "Note to self, don't it it in the front." Nobuyuki mumbled, as he back off before the shark stirred up again.

Shizuka sighed in disappointment as the boy successfully hit the shark only to find out that his attack had managed to miss completely. "I guess I should've told him about the fact that the Shark's armor is pretty much unpenetrable." Shizuka whispered from under her breath because if she would've done that, they would've probably already been closer to her destination of defeating the Sand Shark in quick time instead of waiting for more time to pass. Shizuka sighed before looking over at Tobi, hoping the boy wouldn't be affected by his miss... Well, at least not too much. Shizuka smirked as now it was her turn to strike and she was definitely confident of her abilities to land a hit on the target. The shark should be still concentrated on Tobi at the moment. Shizuka decided as she whipped out her sword and prepared an attack of her own. This one should honestly hit. Shizuka thought as she charged forward, her eyes staring directly ahead at the intimidating shark that she was determined to strike.

Shizuka gasped as she felt her sword damage absolutely nothing. Indeed, she had surprisingly missed and she wasn't sure how the heck she had done that. The shark had just recovered a bit from the previous stun and she was surprised that she had been unable to take advantage of the fact that the shark had managed to dodge the attack...

Nobuyuki wasn't notice that the shark was coming out of crowd control so quickly. Before he got a chance to react, the shark lunged toward the boy, aiming for his torso. Couldn't get away in time, Nobuyuki was bit by his arm. Winced in pain, he quickly raised his sword and stabbed the shark near the eyes. It shook around in pain, flung Nobuyuki aside as the shark dove back down into the sand. "@#%&! That hurts like hell!" Nobuyuki cursed as he slowly standing up from the sand. He was surprised that his hand didn't came off, but still that was a painful experience of getting bite and flung around by a shark. It dealt a good chunk of damage to his health bar. It's best to just stay focus and not get hit again. "Well, at least Shizuka have something to do with her job now."

Shizuka smirked in amusement as she heard the boy curse out a word that wouldn't be rated PG for the little kids that might be reading the thread... Which there probably aren't but who knows. However, Shizuka was pleased that the boy had finally had health taken away from him because now that there was damage, there would be things for her to fix... And she knew that the boy would need her fixing. Hence, Shizuka went to her menu, checked the things that she had to pull out a health crystal... Just in case. and looked at the target... Tobi, the person that she would need to heal. "Finally, some fun that I can have as a healer," Shizuka stated as she allowed her arms to rise into the air against the power of gravity. Shizuka sighed and walked up to the man before pressing her arms against his back and activated her <<First Aid>> healing skill that she had grand mastered not that long ago.

Shizuka smirked when she felt her healing become used and she heard the sound of success. Indeed, she had healed the boy's health but due to the fact that his maximum health is rather low, she had been unable to heal the boy's health to full. However, it mattered not as she had successfully healed the boy and that was her best job.

Seeing Shizuka's sly smirk on her face, it made Nobuyuki wondered something. "Is it really that funny to see me got bit by a shark?" He winced his eyes and looked at her suspiciously. It is until then, when both start hearing the rumble from underneath them again. The shark came out from a sandy hill, and plunging toward both of them. "Crap. I forgot about that!"  Nobuyuki has just remembered of the shark was still a threat that has to be dealt with. Afraid that the healer might take some unnecessarily collateral damage, Nobuyuki hastily pushed Shizuka aside, and raised his sword. He wasn't fast enough, as by the time he'd done so, the shark has already plunged onto him. Sands were splashed into the air. When all of the sand and dust were clear, neither did Nobuyuki or the Land Shark was in sight. The rumbling under the ground was gone, and for a moment, it was thought that Nobuyuki died, if Shizuka has not noticed Nobuyuki's health bar just below hers. Near where the shark has dove onto Nobuyuki, his hand emerged from the sand. It seemed like he wasn't taking any damage, but there is still risk that he does.

Shizuka smirked. The battle was over and the two won without any major damage. She had already completed this quest, but she guessed the Col and the extra SP would do her well in her advancement towards the next rank of search and detect... something that she had tried to get a long time ago. Indeed, her job had been completed and the quest was finished. There was no point in staying any longer than she had to... The quest had already taken way too long for her liking and she was satisfied to obtain the skill point for the day. "My task is finished. It is time for my departure." Shizuka said from under that cloak. The sun was attacking her back and she felt a flood of sweat coming from her forehead and she'd rather perfer not to have that right now. I need to take a shower once I'm back on the thirteenth floor. Shizuka thought before sighing and walking away. "See you later." Shizuka said without a lively tone but sincere enough to allow Tobi to know that she was serious when she said that. Good stuff. Shizuka thought with a sigh as her skill point pool had once again increased by one.

While under the sand, Nobuyuki felt like the earth itself is crushing him. "No good... Got to dig my way up!" Nobuyuki thought as he saw his health bar depleting slowly. He started to thrashing his hands around, trying to dug himself up from under the sand. Soon, more of his hand emerging from the ground, and then his head. Nobuyuki let out a loud gasp for air, and spitting the sand from his mouth. Slowly, he pulled his other hand up as well. with both hand as a leverage, Nobuyuki pulled himself up from under the sand.Climbing out of the ground, he laid on the ground, panting hard. "Note to self... Don't trust anyone with your life... ever."
