The girl did not let up on her onslaught of punches on the rock. She continued to beat into the side of the boulder as if it were a punching bag, letting out huffs of air with each hit. She would jab twice with her right hand, pivot, hook with her left, step back, roundhouse kick, and so on. She was getting used to the different movement and combos to deal the most damage. She did not let what the man did to the other rock get to her.. her only focus was doing this now. She was not going to fall behind everyone else.

Jevi's fist collided once more with the boulder with a weak punch. She held her hand there, gritting her teeth and breathing heavily. She was beginning to exhaust herself. There was silence all around her, and darkness began to cover the land as the sun began to set. The old man stood up, "Why don't we turn in for the night, continue training to-" ~"No.. I am finishing this..I'll be fine out here. You go home." The old man smirked and tapped his cane on the ground, he liked the girl's confidence. "I'll check back on you in the morning then.. Don't overexert yourself.. you'll end up getting killed."

Jevi stood there and listened as the old man slowly walked away. Once she could not hear his cane crunching into the dirt and grass, she staggered back from the rock and looked at her fists, bruised and cut from punching the boulder. She took a couple of deep breaths as she looked at the damage she had caused herself. Did.. Grave really go through this much trouble..? She looked back up at the boulder, which had various cracks around its surface from where she made any vital hits. She wondered.. was it really all worth it? This skill and all?

~"Damn.." She did not realize just what she got herself into. Her life may not be at risk.. since the boulder did not fight back. But it was not like she had her sword to held her.. or sword arts. She would be doing the least damage she could possibly do. And with more than half of its HP still remaining, she knew it was going to be one hell of a long night. Unless... she just walked away right now. Accept the fact that she could not deal with this mission, at least on her own. Her head drooped and looked at her feet.. seeing similar scrapes on on her shins and feet as her hands.

The girl clenched her damaged fists. No, she would not walk away from this. How would she ever expect to get any stronger if she just walked away from her troubles. Her yellow eyes emerged from under he bangs, glaring at her goal in front of her. She felt a burning in his fists as she stepped forward and began to pound into the boulder once again. Fist after fist, kick after kick, the girl pushed the very limits of her body's strength. She would destroy this rock before the old man came back. She did not care what he thought however, this one was for herself.

The girl's body seemed to glisten in the moonlight from the sweat accumulating all over, beads bouncing off of her as she would jolt forward for another attack. She felt her punches becoming faster, and with more power behind them. The girl lifted up her foot and planted it into the ground, leaning forward slightly to put more power behind her punches. She then alternated fists, left and right, in quick succession, like a machine gun into the face of the boulder. One after another, she let her fists fly. She even needed to take another step forward at one point, since she had knocked the boulder back a small distance.

The girl halted her machine gun attack and took a small step back, standing on the balls of her feet. Jevi ignored the numbness in her hands from relentlessly punching, for it would only help her in landing stronger punches later on. Pivoting her front foot, she brought her left leg around with a kick, her shin crashing into the boulder's side with a loud bang. The sound reverberated back up Jevi's leg and to her body, slightly knocking her off balance. But she brought her other leg down and secured herself so she would not fall.

Can't stop now. She thought to herself as she continued forward again, fists flying into the side of the boulder. One by one, her fists created small craters and cracks. The only thing keeping Jevi going was her determination. She knew that if she stopped moving, she would be letting exhaustion catch up with her, and she would probably fall unconscious. She did not even want to think about that, especially since she was an open target out in the forest on her own. Without her armor or her weapon equipped, she would be doomed if someone were to sneak up on her.

Taking her mind off of her current objective would have been her downfall. She threw a punch that was slightly too far to the right, and her fist simply brushed off the side of it. The momentum of the attack carried the woman's body forward until the boulder stopped her. First, her chest flattened out against the boulder, followed by the side of her face slamming into it. She staggered backwards, completely off balance and dizzy. She put her hand on her head and rubbed it.. but she did not stop moving. She stepped back and forth, left and right. She needed to stay awake.

~"Gr.. I don't think I've ever needed that man more than I do now.." The girl said, thinking about her friend Grave. She knew that he was adept in Martial Arts.. so taking out this boulder would most likely be child's play for him. But then again.. she had not heard from him in awhile. That may have been her own fault, for not trying to reach out. For that, she had Shaya to blame. The thoughts of loneliness and anger at being left alone stirred up in her, causing her to lash out. The pupils in her eyes shrunk and her teeth ground together. Digging her foot into the ground, Jevi cocked her fist back, which lit up with a red hue, similar to when she activated a sword art. "Hyaah!" She threw her fist forward, crashing into the boulder and creating a crater about twice the size of her fist.

The force from Jevi's punch was too much for the girl to handle. Her eyes slowly closed and she fell backwards, crashing into the ground below her, knocking out on impact.

She laid there, in and out of consciousness, not able to move her body out of exhaustion. She heard the sound of something coming towards her, like the sound of footsteps walking through the gravel towards her. It must have been morning, and the old man was coming back to see just how terrible of a job she had done. Her eyes slowly opened, noticing three figured standing over here. Her eyes then shot open, and she saw the three figures a bit more clearly. They all wore ragged robed with hoods over their head, one with a mask on their face that represented a skull of some kind. The one closest to her held a rusty katana in a reverse grip, the tip of the blade pointing directly at Jevi. She could not scream. She could not move. Only watch in horror as the figure stabbed downwards right into Jevi's stomach.

The purplette sat up quickly in a cold sweat, screaming in terror. Her head jerked back and forth, looking for those figures she saw, and then down at her stomach. There was no marks or cuts, and her HP was still at max. Did she.. just have a terrible nightmare? She pulled her legs into her chest and shuddered at how real the dream felt. After a moment of sitting, she let her legs go and stood up, dusting her clothes off. She could not let herself fall unconscious like that again, or else it might be real next time.

Jevi shook her head and clenched her fists, pounding them together and looking at the boulder. Her lip quivered before hooking into a smirk. She slowly walked forward, her bare feet kicking through the grass and gravel between her and the giant rock. ~"I won't let anyone get the better of me like that... anyone tries.. I'll kick their [censored] ass." She brought her fist down low to the ground, a red glow taking it over once again. With a powerful uppercut, Jevi's fist scraped off the face of the boulder and sent shattered pieces of it into the sky above her.

Jevi took a deep breath, both of her fists igniting with a red flame like energy. She brought them up to her chest and looked down at them. She felt a surging power, as if she was finally getting the hang of this unarmed combat thing, and the skill was slowly unlocking itself as she used it more and more. She then looked back up at the boulder and cocked her fist back. She unleashed a quick flurry of jabs with both hands, similarly to her last machine-gun punch, but this time much more powerful with the skill backing her up.

The girl dug deeper and deeper into the rock, breaking away at chunk after chunk of the rock. She imagined the rock as anyone that got in her way.. especially those in her nightmare. Those three cloaked figured, just smiling down at her. Stabbing her and ending her life for no reason other than for laughs. Anger inside of her started to burn, driving her fists with more force into the side of the boulder. She felt the skin on her knuckles peel as her punches increased force, though she felt no pain due to the settings of this game.. One after another, she drove her punches into the boulder, cutting it down in size.

With Jevi's barrage finishing, and the red glow around her hands disappearing, she stepped back, breathing heavily. Her fit of rage subsided, and she blinked in shock at what was ahead of her, her mouth becoming agape in surprise. She had taken out most of the boulder, creating a slight crescent shape. She looked at her hands again, did she.. really just do that? After releasing all of her pent up anger. She truly was a force to be reckoned with, and a danger to some.

She took a deep breath to calm herself. Attacking with blinding rage could prove dangerous, to her or anyone around her. She wanted to avoid that if she could.. only break it out whenever she truly needed it. Her usual coldness and anger was enough for one person, let alone her rage. She chuckled at her thought.. but then she remembered just what she was in the middle of doing. She circled around the boulder to the other side, so she had a fresh face to work on. She decided this time to start off with a kick. Turning her body, she let her leg fly, her shin colliding with the side of the boulder.

The girl brought her leg back down, keeping complete balance as she did so. She took a deep breath and let her arms fall to her sides as she did so. The girl brought her right hand up to her forehead, wiping it clean of sweat and hair that stuck from her forehead. After her hand no longer blocked her vision, she opened her eyes and looked up at the moon high in the sky above her, the only light that made it possible to see in the forest. She placed her hands on her waist and smiled at the serenity of this scene.

Jevi's gaze came back down to the boulder, for she was not finished with this quest just yet. She stepped forward, walking on the balls of her feet, bringing her fists up to the sides of her face. She took her fighting stance and planted her feet into the ground, squeezing at her fists and preparing for another blow. As she brought her arm back, she hear the sound of something loud rustling in the bushes far behind her. The girl quickly spun around, tripping over her own feet and falling back into the boulder. She then caught glimpse of just what caused the sound; a lone wolf, and a young one at that. It did not take notice of the girl, only sniffed around in the grass before running off in the other direction.

Jevi let out a sigh of relief as she let her body slide down the boulder to sit in the dirt. She gently placed her hands in her lap, her yellow eyes looking at them as she twiddled her index fingers, rubbing the tips together. She was jumpy at every sound she heard.. probably due to the fact that she was sitting alone in the forest in the middle of the night. She was prone to anything, a group of mobs attacking her, or worse yet, other players. She felt her body shake again, remembering that bad dream she had a couple of minutes ago.
