{SP-F2} Do or Do Not, There is No Try <<Breaking The Unbreakable>>

After delivering her first jab, Jevi pulled back her fist, holding it waist length with her palm facing upwards. She took in another deep breath through her nose, imagining for a moment that this boulder was a person trying to attack her. What would be the perfect point of attack, the perfect time to counter. The imaginary player in her mind raised its sword over its head. Jevi responded by throwing her arm across her body to block the "sword", spinning on her heel and driving the sole of her foot into its "stomach." In reality, she delivered another powerful kick right at the center of the boulder. The object was weakening with each punch, and this kick no different. With the force of her foot, the boulder slid back about a foot. The old man's eyebrows rose, seeing where the boulder had dragged the dirt.

Jevi pulled her leg back from the strike and stood flatfooted on the ground, taking in deep breaths through her mouth. The old man clapped his hands. Jevi looked at him, confused, ~"What did I do?" The elderly martial arts master stepped forward, pointing to the overturned dirt with his cane. "You may not have shattered the boulder yet, but you sure as hell moved it." he laughed "I don't think you realize just how heavy a boulder of this size is." The purplette rubbed the back of her neck, which was covered with sweat. ~"Not.. exactly.. but I think I have some ideas." He chuckled again, "then you should know that you are almost there.. Its starting to break apart from the inside. Before you know it, you'll deliver the final punch, and the whole thing will break apart."

She was shocked in herself, had she really just pushed a boulder with just her foot. The woman stared at the dirt that showed the boulder had moved, and then at the boulder. There were cracks and chips all over its surface. She could only imagine how broken apart it was on the inside. The end was in sight for this quest. Squaring herself up again, she took in a deep breath, thinking of the perfect place to punch the rock. Her eyes scanned the surface, looking for the part with the weakest structure, or the most cracks. Dead in the center was the largest spider web, so she figured that would be her best bet. Pulling her fist back past her head, she let the punch fly. As it connected with the center, she felt the whole boulder move back yet again.

With her last attack, Jevi most definitely noticed the boulder move back even more. She felt it under the pressure of her knuckles. Her face lit up, and her mouth stretched into a wide grin. The woman felt powerful, more powerful than she ever could have been in the real world. She had just moved a boulder with her fist. Stepping back, she looked over at the old man once again, who was nodding once again, before waggling his cane at the purplette. "Now, as impressive as that is.. Don't go getting cocky.. the point of the test isn't to move the boulder, its to shatter it. You are getting close. Keep up the good work. Unless you like the look of whiskers on your face." The woman had nearly forgotten about the whiskers he drew on her face. The usually stoic and emotionless woman would be a laughing stock if she went around with cat-like whiskers. She nodded her head at the man.

After taking in another deep breath, Jevi brought her fists up for another punch. She could feel how close she was now, especially as she looked at how much red was left on the HP bar above the boulder; a tiny sliver. Yellow orbs went back to the boulder, her eyes focusing on the center where she had landed most of her attacks. She took a step forward, following suit with her back foot as it slid forward, pivoting on the ball of her foot in the same moment. He right fist shot forward, directly into the cracked portion of the boulder. the force of her punch sent the boulder back another foot. The crack that she had attacked spread even more, connecting all of the small cracks and covering the entirety of the face of the boulder. Though it stood strong.

~"What? Its still.." Jevi questioned, not sure how the boulder was still in one piece. She took another look at the boulder's health bar. It looked as though it was depleted.. until she noticed the tiny bit of red, blinking at the far left. ~"You've got to be kidding me.." she said under breath. She smirked, all she needed to do was hit it one more time and she would finally be finished. The muscles in her legs flexed as she prepared herself, bouncing on the balls of her feet. She took a step forward and brought her opposite leg straight up. Her foot glowed with a red hue, similar to her sword arts as she delivered an axe kick. Her heel struck true, hitting the the highest part of the boulder she could reach with that kick. Her foot continued through the boulder and back to the ground, as the rock shattered into hundreds of pieces, crumpling to the ground. 

The woman jumped into the air, ~"Yes! Finally." The old man nodded and clapped before pulling a small rag from his pocket. The man used the rag to easily take the marker lines off of Jevi's face. He also made sure to return her sword to her. "Now you can say you are a martial artist. Keep on training!"
