Im setting up this topic as a placeholder where the guild can do any crafting it wants. this is not for rp, just for crafting. if someone in the guild needs something made, throw up what you'd like. if you have specific materials you want then post them here as well for the person to use.

9Lives was getting frustrated by the crafting algorithm as it continued to process his request as failures. He thought about the skill selection and how he could start investing in the craft to make the rolls better. as the guilds smith it was important for him to be good at his trade but he had a more important role as the lead striker which demanded his points be spent differently. this was anew day and the toggled through the menu's once again selecting all the details he wanted for the Rapier he was trying to create. He was bound to get a craft he would be pleased with eventually.

Once his menu selection was complete he looked it over once again checking material type, appearance, and guard style. once he was sure everything was put in correctly, 9Lives selected the <>. the now irritatingly annoying load screen pupped up with estimated time of creation.

this was getting ridiculous. he looked down at his masterpiece katana was was forged on the first attempt and shook his head. this is what happens when you leave things up to random number generators. In the back of his mind he knew that grinding was the purpose of the game and while he had allot of materials, running out just meant a quick battle to get more.

He once again toggled through the menus he had now memorized to create the German style rapier for his Guild Leader. hitting <> again he knew that this would be his last attempt for the day but maybe not his last attempt at the blade.

Craft die: 11

Rare Item!

-1 mat

+3 Sharpness

+3 Quickness

+3 Accuracy

The load screen flashed as the blade was created. a smile crept across his face as he looked it over. It was a german styled rapier lacking the knuckle guard and cage of traditional european raliers. this one has the cross guard in black with ornate designs like thorned stems weaved into the design. The handle was standard one hand with a small buy elaborately decorated pommel matching the crossguard. the blade was a dark red crimson, narrow and flexible for the needs of a fencer. This was a blade that he could be proud to give to his Captain.

I would like some armor please...

Using whatever materials you have on hand. If possible something that has an increase to durability and evasion. If a 12 roll occurs Id be interested in seeing about getting an ability stacked onto it as well, maybe a =1 to battle healing?

Id like for it to look similar to the armor I'm currently wearing.

a private message popped up on his screen from Nikki requesting some better armor. he looked over the specs she was asking for. it seems straight forward, heavy armor built for a tank with stats that aided in her ability to soak damage. he thought about the ingredients he would need. 9lives searched through his inventory, reading specifications on all the material types he had attained thus far. after a few moments he had decided on what would work best for Nikki's play style.

Once again he went through the menus that he was now well antiquated with. selecting Armor though brought up new choices he hadn't yet experimented with. It was always refreshing to make something new and see what the outcomes would be. He went through each menu seeing what his options would be before selecting any specifics. the options were nearly endless and each one he selected changed the stats of others. this was clearly going to take longer to set up than one of the blades he had made.

Satisfied that he had finally selected everything he wanted, he made note of his choices should he need to keep fabricating it. The random number generator was not kind to him on most days but with perseverance he usually got what he wanted. with all the options locked in he hit <> and waited while the agonizing load bar worked its digital magic.

Craft die: 7

Bad Item!

recover materials

9lives was not surprised to see the fail screen. the two of them had become well antiquated. he had begun calling it Oto-san because like his father, it only showed up when it had bad news. He reacted accordingly closing out the menu.

quickly resetting his crafting menus back to the previous attempt. 9Lives checked the details for continuity. perhaps there was a bad combination that cause the failure. He at least had hoped it was a mistake on his part. he hadn't know anyone to have worse luck with crafting, but then again he hadn't known anyone to have created as many great items. once he was sure he didn't make a mistake he pressed the <> once more and waited for Oto-san to greet him.

Craft die: 12

Critical!

Perfect item!

The screen flashed gold, a feet he had not seen anyone accomplish. It was a perfect quality item. The armor was Victorian styled plate with segmenting plates to maximize defense while not compromising motion. The metal was a brilliant royal blue with gold trim. its elaborate inlay of gold through the plates looked stunning. He wondered what it would look like on a female player since his view of it displayed it as if worn by a male. Still he knew Nikki would love it and its benefits.

9Lives returned to his work crafting weapons and armor. He hadn't been to the work table in a while, spending more and more of his time in the fields. With each floor he traverse, he found more and more seclusion. as he stepped into the shop he was surprised to find it empty with the exception of the NPC. There were still many items he wanted to construct and he had the time to work on it now. Scrolling through the menus he opened a new tier of customization displaying his abiltiy to create trinkets. selecting all the specifics, he hit <>

Crafting roll 10 : Uncommon Item: Mask of Sorrow

+1 Evasion

+1 Accuracy

The process completed displaying the the blackened metal featureless mask with his eyes only displayed. It had two arcs coming down form his eyes were red lines like blood pouring out of the masks sockets. though the item appeared to look like armor it actually did nothing in the way of protection but gave many bonuses he prefered. He equipped the mask and noted the way it made him feel. it had the downside of replacing his hood which he would have rather had, but for the mean time it would serve to better his skill.

He set the mask to hidden while he worked, deciding it was time he created a new set of daggers for the girl who he had become friends with. Their trials in the forest against the Gargoyles were a test that neither likely would have excelled at alone. They were two of a kind and he respected her prowess. He selected the characteristics he though she would like and hit .

Craft Roll: 3 Fail

The Result was not as expected. He had seen enough failure in crafting that the concept was demoralizing though. He could increase his results though skills but he felt his role as the damage dealer was far more important. He had the time and materials to just create continuously until he ran out of materials.

Once again he scrolled through the menus selecting the characteristics and appearance of the daggers he sought to make. He tried changing variables to produce a higher probability of creation. he didn't like do this but sometimes you have to give way to the system. Once eh felt he had a better shot at creation he selected the Option.

Craft Die 7: Good Item

The result completed giving him the item he selected but he wasn't pleased with it. They were not bad blades but they weren't particularly good either. They were a step above starter knives but hardly something he was willing to give to a friend. He walked outside and saw a young boy in light armor with two sai on his waist. He initiated a trade with the person who was bewildered but accepted. the young boys eyes lit up when he saw the blades and 9Lives accepted giving them away. The kid equip them and ran up thanking him. Don't get your hopes up. they might mean something to you but they are worthless to me. he said before equipping his mask then leaping up to the roof top and walking away.

I request for a white sheath and black rapier with gold designs, I wish for it to be able to be light and quick, and deal a lot of damage. I want it to be decently durable too. I also request for some black light-metal chestplate that is light but can withstand damage while not reducing speed and agility.

(Hope this isn't too much....)

9lives returned to his crafting bench after the long night in the forest. he had yet to craft and acceptable weapon set for his guildmate. quickly panning through the menus he selected the details for the daggers with care for congruence. Once he felt the Daggers details were set properly he Hit the options and awaited for the crafting bar to complete.

Crafting Die: 10 Uncomon

the process finished with moderate results. they were far form perfect but were capable. He stored the daggers in his inventory temporarily but wasn't ready to call this done.

9Lives reset the menus playing around with features. there were options he hadn't tried and designed he hadn't compared. with a decent set of dagger in his inventory, he felt no pressure and was willing to experiment with options. once he had selected all the options he hadn't previously tried he selected and waited for the concoction to finalize.

Crafting Roll: 9 good item

The daggers completed but despite their unique appearance were no better than a standard set weapon. He dropped the items to the ground figuring someone would come through and find them.

Less than satisfied with the previous craft he quickly re-selected the desired qualities of the daggers he was trying to make. His eyes were getting tired form the long night, luckily the system rolls had nothing to do with his awareness. He Selected and decided this would be his last attempt for the night.

Crafitng Roll : 4

The system blinked letting him know it was done but not to his surprise the craft failed but he retained the materials. he yawned and headed out leaving the basic daggers on the ground in the shop.

9Lives began crafting once again looking to build up abit of an armor for the guild. it had seemed that the guild expanded around him without his knowledge. he needed to be prepared to outfit combatants for the front line. without anything particularly in mind he decided to make a spear to start.

Crafting Die: 7 good item

the load screen finished showing his spear and he stashed it away, not really pleased with it.
