[PP-F2] Sheep on the Field? (CaptainUndead)

Erin was strolling out in the wilderness once again as she tended to do now since she was at least partially well equipped to not be at risk of dying every two steps, exceptions being pkers and the occasional male who found her outfit just ravishing. She however deiced to wear a cloak over it for now, the Azure Brigade cloak she had also received as a gift from Zelrius. She had been meaning to meet back up with him and return the cloak but that brought up many memories, painful memories like why she fled in on that faithful night. She looked forward and there he enemy stood a few meter in front of her, she peered about looking as she saw a few wolves wandering about in a small pack but this one had gone astray hopefully be easy experience and kill for her. Pulling up her menu she would stop blushing a bit embarrassed to remove the cloak, but she didn't see anyone obvious so she quickly swapped and drew out Lambheard her trusty shield that matched with the softer cushioned inner lining and edging. She wore a rather awkward and fluster face as she realized how stupid she must really look to the monsters she fought.

Having just recently departed from a party that he have done a quest with, Nobuyuki felt like today was a good day to enjoy one of his favourite floor, and just pondering around on the top of the mountain range and probably get some profit out of it as well. He climbed his way to the top, and once he got there, everything seemed so peaceful. "Not many people traveled out for grinding today" Nobuyuki sighed in relaxed. But he was far away from being right. Just as he thought he was alone, Nobuyuki saw a girl with blond hair. What interested her was that she wore what seemed like half of a top and bottom, a swimsuit. Wondering what is she doing, Nobuyuki was startled when he heard loud rumbles in the ground. From behind him, a huge Earth Elemental sluggishly crept up to him, with each step created loud rumbles. Nobuyuki unsheathed his sword without hesitation and lunged forward at the Rock Golem. He jumped over the attack of the Golem, but unfortunately, his blade bounce off once he landed his attack on the golem's arm. Fallen back a few steps, Nobuyuki focused onto the Earth Elemental, as he held his sword tightly and prayed for another attack.

All the wolves now fled as they felt the quaking of the ground causing Erin to flinch in fear as well as she now turned around to see a man with an earth elemental. She gulped and slowly changed her stance to now look toward her foe. She slowly ran toward the earth elemental charging with her shield raised and rushing forward to help attack the foe. Once she approached it her whip managed to make contact with the rocky body she smiled rather amazed. "I-I did it I hit it without-" Suddenly the earth elemental moved though shifting it's weight and smashing the girl back down the mount with one of it's arm making a good hit upon her. She grimaced and moaned as she lied upon the ground essentially dizzied by the blow she received.

Nobuyuki was startled when the blonde girl jumped into their fight. Now that she was up close, Nobuyuki could took a closer look of what she's wearing. The outfit was very revealing compares to standard equipment, and god forbidden how did it managed to protect her. Shaking away the thoughts out of his head, Nobuyuki focused back to the Golem. Dashed forward, the young warrior jumped toward and slashed the golem. Once again, the sword bounced off. It almost seemed like the rocky golem is just too hard for his sword to cut through. Now distracted by blonde girl, the Earth Elemental sluggishly swinging its hand around. She simply ducked under the swing.

Erin brushed herself off a bit and looked at herself and then her health bar noticing that she didn't even take a tick of damage to her health bar. "Yay!" She hopped happily as she hadn't really tested this armor out that much since she got it from the Azure Brigade member. To be honest she didn't think the stats would mean much in a game that was as realistic as this but she didn't even get a big pixelated gash across her bare belly. She nodded and pulled out her whip again she crack it back it partially wrapping about her foot as she then attempted to hit the earth elemental again instead pulling herself down onto the ground upon her belly. She winced and groaned unpleasantly as she couldn't imagine she managed to pull that off again. She wasn't at all a master with the whip and it seemed like she was always getting it tangled up in her feet.

All of their attempts to attack the monster has comes to no avail so far. The giant moving boulder wouldn't even took a single damage. Nobuyuki tried one again, this time thrusting his sword forward, trying to pierce the thick rock layer of the golem, but still couldn't do it. That is when he notice something. The Elemental's back is not protected. It once again, sluggishly swinging it's hand toward the girl, and once again missed. Looking over to the blonde girl, Nobuyuki spoke in a commanding voice. "Try to stun it for a while. I think I got a plan." He told. Hoping the girl would comply to his request.

Erin blinked a bit confused as she hadn't really learned all the game mechanics yet, possibly the reason she was as low a level as she was now. "I umm how would I stun it unless you want me to just draw it's aggro for now?" She then looked back to the earth elemental and smacked her whip again the rock uncertain of whether or not she was actually doing any damage to it since she was so weak. Did she have a technique that would stun a beast of this magnitude, she pulled back and pulled up her menu now peaking through it to try and find some of her skills.

"That will do just fine." Nobuyuki smirk, found his chance to attack. Running forward, He leap at the Elemental Golem from behind. Knowing that he had to be quick before the blonde girl get attacked by this giant rock, Nobuyuki activated his sword art and swung his sword. Tracing a pattern of a star, he hacked and slashed at the Golem. Taken six hit to the back, the Golem burst to million of pieces and pixels that slowly fading in the air. "Well, that's dealt with." Nobuyuki sighed, looking at the girl. He continued. "So... you seemed like you could handle yourself pretty well." He stood in front of her, trying not to focus on the obscuring outfit she had on her. It certainly did a good job protecting her.

Erin watched him trace the signs in the air for his sword art which caused her to watch a bit in awe as she herself had used them a few times. She really hadn't been in to many combats by herself, let alone any now that she recalled. In some fashion or another someone always came to her aid, she stopped and gloomily looked down realizing what she became, I'm the damsel in distress. She sighed before now hearing the man before her actually send her a compliment that wasn't about the ridiculous armor she was wear. It was a bit much to take in and she waited there looking a bit startled before wearing a confused expression, "R-really but I didn't do anything compared to you?" Voicing her opinion rather shyly as she now had her hands curled up in front of her and staring intently at the mountain top.

"Don't think of it like that. You did assisted me in taking down that mob. You help me distracted it." Nobuyuki smiled, trying the best he could to keep the optimism high. Looking toward the mountain range, Nobuyuki felt like he had forgot something. Then, it struck him. "Right, I haven't introduce myself... I'm Tobi. Nice to meet you." Trying to be friendly, he gave her his fake name, not because he didn't trust her, but it just some principles he had to follow. "It's still relatively early in the day. You want to team up and do some hunting?" He asked, hoping the girl would accepted. It tends to get boring after a while hunting on his own, and he wouldn't mind a company or two, unless it's a large scale party with more than five or seven people.

Erin smiled from hearing the boy say that she had been assistant in slaying of the mob, despite the fact that her own attack was rather weak against it, "I-I didn't really think I did all that much." She blushed as her gaze was averted toward the ground uncertain of how she felt about talking with this stranger. He hadn't attacked her which was always a good sign so perhaps he was trustworthy, thankfully since she joined she stuck around people who didn't want to slay one another. "I could do that but again I don't think that I would be of much help to you as I'm more or less just a tank. It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Erin which ... I wasn't really creative when I joined this game." She peered down toward the mountain again as she felt childish for giving out her real name in a video game.

"Alright then, we've got ourself a party." Nobuyuki said. He was glad that she agreed to join him for some material hunting. With Erin beside him, the two began to trod along the mountain side for any material that they can scavenge. "To be honest, I don't mind knowing your name really.. It's not like we are neighbors in the real world, and it's unlikely for me to know where you live, so I'm not bothered by the identity much." Nobuyuki replied to Erin's comment as the two continued to walk. He knows how much of a hypocrites he sound like, but it was just principles basic principles.

It has been a while, and no one have really spoken a word yet. Nobuyuki just couldn't think of anything to say to the girl, so he decided it's best to keep silent and walk on. Then, from just behind a tree, he saw some herbs. "These would make fine ingredients for cooking." He thought, as Nobuyuki crouch down and harvested the plants, placed in his inventory, and move on.

Erin nodded a bit embarrassed to be working with yet another stranger, she seemed to be doing this a lot and never knew whether or not they could really be trustworthy. "True I"m just really bad in the real world when it comes to conversing with people especially given that I am always shut in at my mansion with my dad most of the time. Even when I was a school girl I was just thought of as the awkward child." She sighed opening up far  more then she had expected as she now strolled along side seeing him bend over toward some of the tree and began harvesting some ingredients. She honestly had never done most of this in game before so harvesting was till a bit knew. "I-I was wondering actually what one could do with these supplies I just didn't really know what I would do with that stuff. I'm still a newbie in this game despite having joined at start." She began to rub her upper arms nervously.

Nobuyuki continued on, with Erin walking behind him. "Well, the materials you gathers are pretty useful if you ever own a shop. They allowed you to create things in your shop that could be useful to you depends on your profession." Nobuyuki explained how the material works to Erin. He chuckled lighting inside when he heard that she was too lived a relatively isolated life like him. "Well, I suppose most gamers do live kinda isolated." He thought as the two trod on. This time around, he wasn't as lucky as the last time. There weren't anything that Nobuyuki could use for the moment. . Letting out a sigh, he continued on with his new found companion by his side.

Erin tried to keep up with his pace as she did seem to take a tad shorter strides thanks to her own natural shortness, as she listened and nodded hearing that he was looking for materials to find for shopping. "I really am bad at this game, I basically have been searching for aid since day one in the creation of even this gear that I'm wearing now. Pathetic I know." She blushed as he chuckled, "And I'm really not all that great with conversing with people ... particularly since I normally try to play guy avatars and this game sorta ruined my little secret, now nibbling on her own lip.

"You know, It's not wrong to ask people for help. When you're putting your life up on the line, every moment you walk out of town, there's nothing to be ashamed of to ask people for help." Nobuyuki tried to comfort Erin, not wanting her to feel bad for relying on other people. "Let's talk about a different subject... How have things been for you recently, I suppose you have known someone after a few months stuck here in this game...." Nobuyuki said, attempting to bring up a different subject. He continued on walking, at a slower pace for Erin to keep up with.
