Cancelling Mob Attacks

Alright, I am going to write a scenario here to help people understand what I'm asking;

I roll a hit, and with it I am able to kill the mob.

The mob also rolls a hit.

Would me killing the mob be able to prevent the mob's attack from occurring?

That depends on who attacked first in the scenario. You should be consistant with the way rounds go. 

Grave > Mob > Grave > Mob.

So in essence, if you are attacking first and you can do a Deathblow in the next round, you will kill the mob before it attacks you. This is how I do my combat as well, I usually let the Mob attack first sometimes depending if I wanna use a Stunning Art in my opening attack.
