Lilliad 0 Posted January 26, 2016 Author #22 Share Posted January 26, 2016 "Great! Well, um, let's go over there..."She said, walking in a not so straight line towards the teleport gate. "Um, you know how to use these, right?" Not waiting for a reply, she drowsily yawned, "Teleport: Starting City!" And Lilliad dissolved, heading for the city.
Lonarian 0 Posted January 30, 2016 #23 Share Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) Lonan ran. He wasn't exactly sure from what, or if he was running from anything at all, but he was running. He was alone. There was no one. Where... He couldn't find anyone he knew. He couldn't even find Dezi. He was lost, and all alone. This wasn't anything like usual. He slipped in the grass, the trees blocking most of the light from above. There wasn't much light anyway, so he guessed it was probably night or early morning. He could barely see where he was going. He scrambled back up, and backed up onto a tree. He slid down and tried to catch his breath. Everything was so quiet. There was no sound. No wind, to make the trees blow. No bird or insects. The only thing he could hear was his own breathing. Until he heard the sound of a creature howling. His eyes widened, and his pupils dilated. He bolted up, and looked around. He was near tears from the fear. Her stood there, in fear, unable to move. He stood like that for nearly five minutes, before he heard a "HYA!" from somewhere to his left. Was it another player? Could it have been Dezi? He ran, not really thinking too much of it, toward the voice. If it really was another player, Dezi or not, perhaps he could feel safe for the first time in this game. He ran, at this point tears running down his face, until he saw an opening in the dense forest. He ran into the grassland, to see one player drive two daggers into a wolf, and another player standing holding a curved sword by her side. As the wolf shattered into colors, both players seemed to lose their fighting spirit. Lonan walked over slowly, not hearing anything of their short conversation. He was cautious, but not scared. If anything, he was a bit amazed. "Uh... Excuse me... I'm Lonan..." He stuttered. Unluckily, right as he said it, one of the players muttered something like Starting City, and disappeared. He wasn't crying anymore, but his cheeks were red so it was obvious he had been. He turned to the other player, and his eyes widened. "Dezi? Is that you?" He asked, his eyes widening and his mouth opening. Edited January 30, 2016 by Lonarian
Cyanidezi 0 Posted January 31, 2016 #24 Share Posted January 31, 2016 Dezi wasn't really paying attention to what the other player was saying, and everything they were saying sounded slurred and blurry (if words could be blurry). She jsut sat on the ground, until she heard a familiar voice. "Dezi? Is that you?" It said. Dezi's eyes widened, and everything was as sharp as ever. She turned to see a blond haired boy with red cheeks, most likely from crying, and blue eyes. "Lonan?" She asked, knowing full well the answer. She stood up, and patted any dirt off of her green cloth clothing. "Crying's not going to get you anywhere," She said as he started to cry again. Dezi looked around for the other player, but instead found an open arch in the middle of nowhere. It seemed to be just a normal arch, but Dezi was sure that wasn't it. She tried to remember what the other player had said before she had disappeared. "Let's go over there...", "Teleport: Starting City!" Ah. It was a teleport gate. "Lonan. Go over to that arch thing and say, "Teleport: Starting City". Be sure to say it clearly. You don't want to end up someplace else." (KNOCKTURN ALLEY!!! XD) Dezi instructed, motioning at the big archway. She'd follow but she wanted to make sure that he got there first.
Lilliad 0 Posted February 2, 2016 Author #25 Share Posted February 2, 2016 Lilliad stepped out of the archway, stumbling over to a shop wall. Collapsing against the brick, she gave a huge yawn before beginning to nod off, waiting for Dezi. Whatever she was doing she didn't care, as long as she wasn't charging into another fight. Vaguely remembering to send her a friend request, she tapped her menu in front of her, sending a request. She gave a faint wave to a blonde boy appearing, then her blue orbs fluttered shut. Lonarian 0 Posted February 4, 2016 #26 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Lonan wiped his tears away, as he smiled sadly. Dezi instructed him to walk through the gateway and say, "Teleport : Starting City". He did as he was told, and found himself behind a shop. There was another girl player there, who looked like the girl who was with Dezi before she vanished. "Um, hello?" He asked, cautiously. "Are you one of Dezi's friends?" Cyanidezi 0 Posted February 5, 2016 #27 Share Posted February 5, 2016 Dezi watched as Lonan made his way through the archway and she only collapsed once he'd left. She had to be strong for his sake, but it was pulling at her not to just break down. But she was afraid too. And not just because she didn't want Lonan and his parents to be hurt, but just because she was afraid of dying. She didn't want to die. And she was deadly afraid of everything. She knew that every turn she made could well be a death trap. Everything she did could lead to her own demise. And she was scared. But for Lonan's sake, she had to hide all of her fear and pain in herself. She had to be strong, to give him hope. Because as long as she was strong, than he felt safe. But if he knew that Dezi was scared, he would give up. She stood up, and walked over to the gate. She shouldn't waste too much time. She walked through the gate, saying "Teleport : Starting City". She appeared on the other side, where both Lonan and Lilliad were already there.
Lilliad 0 Posted February 26, 2016 Author #28 Share Posted February 26, 2016 "Oh hi." Lilliad smiled. "Yeah, well I guess we're friends, sort of. I'm Lilliad. Nice to meet you." The girl nodded politely, noticing the boy wasn't much older than her. Dezi stepped out of the archway, and she waved. "Hey Dezi. You made it through good!" Lilliad finally felt happy, in what felt like a long time.
Lonarian 0 Posted February 27, 2016 #29 Share Posted February 27, 2016 Dezi seemed to find her way to Lonan and Liliad. "Hello Lilliad, I'm Lona." Something was off, though. Those two had just defeated a bunch of wolves, but Lilliad seemed almost happy. Plus, Dezi hadn't shown any sort of pain or fear of any type. He almost smirked. If those two girls were stronger than him, mentally and physically, then he'd really have to step up his act.
Cyanidezi 0 Posted March 5, 2016 #30 Share Posted March 5, 2016 They were in front of a shop, or at least that's what it looked like. Now was the time to stock up. Dezi wasn't going to be beat, or even get close to being beat, by something as pathetic as wolves anytime in the future. She was greeted by Lilliad, but she didn't respond. Something was really wrong. She had to be strong for Lonan, but she knew she was only postponing the inevitable. They could never take on the final boss, whatever it may be. They would be waiting for someone to pull the trigger and let them out. They couldn't save themselves. All she was doing was protecting herself, and him, until someone could pull that trigger, and let them out. But what if that never happened. What if everybody in this game expected someone to stand up, and so they themselves never stood up on their own. What if, even if people did, they couldn't win. How long would they be trapped in this Death Game before they escaped. How long would she have to pretend to be strong? And she was worried. Because if she ever showed any sign of pain, or fear, Lonan would feel it double. He wasn't a very strong person, physically or mentally. Yes, he was smart, but he wasn't a very strong person. The only reason he seemed to feel safe was because Dezi, on the other hand, was strong. Or so he thought. His strength came purely from the feelings of others. He felt strong if others did. And if they felt weak, he knew that he was the weakest of them all. And he couldn't survive that. She'd put him through that once before, and she couldn't bear to put him through it again. She just couldn't. And she knew he couldn't either.
Lilliad 0 Posted March 31, 2016 Author #31 Share Posted March 31, 2016 (I'm so sorry!!!) Lilliad's smile faded slightly as she notice Dezi's mood. She herself was attempting to be happy, even though she knew exactly what Dezi was feeling. Trapped in the death game for over a year, and struggling, she hated it, and hated even more the fact that another person was feeling the same way. Lilliad had suffered so much, but hid it so nobody could see the pain she held like a burden inside. Her heart burned as Dezi seemed to think she wouldn't make it, and felt a small pang of anger. Her Australian accent shone as she feistily said, "Oy Dezi, you've only just made it into this stupid game. You have no idea of the pain it brings, but neither of the friendships and experience. You've been here for half an hour, and already you think you're going to die. You'd better pull yourself together, and suck it up. I've been here for almost two years, and look where I am now! Almost dying with a newbie, trying to save her life! If you want to survive, you'd better learn not to run straight into trouble, and be more positive." Her eyes blazed as she glared at the girl, a tear falling down her face. "I learnt that the hard way." Lilliad turned on her heel and marched into the shop, angry and upset.
