In the end the group stays separate, besides Antofer, no one side getting along with the other.  As each member of the party goes to there designated locations, the sun begins to go deeper below the horizontal tree level until the last light of the sunset finally diminishes into darkness.  Antofer was requested to go to Abandon's abode in order to talk about something in secret.  This is a decision for Antofer at a later time as night settles in the city.
