Icarus 0 Posted February 15, 2016 #21 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Some were content with choking on the fruit. Although the solemn, controlled expression structuring his face did not alter in the slightest, he looked on the fleeting scene between the man and child with a forsaken sense of hopelessness. Tempers were quick to rise among all parties involved and as a result, no real resolution was made between them; the chasm between the high and low levels shifted further apart. Icarus looked on for a few straggling moments longer before nodding. He had done what little he could and he was satisfied with that. It was likely that anything else would have fallen upon deaf ears, anyway. Without another word, he stepped away from the middle of the cobblestone road at a deliberate pace, returning to his position at the corner of the street where he remained vigilant. Seul 1 Posted February 15, 2016 #22 Share Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) Much had occurred in the span of only a few minutes. Seul couldn't help but feel awkward at the whole ordeal. In his time traveling Aincrad he hadn't realized there was such tension between the high and low level players. Though truth be told, he never bothered to become involved in such things. Being only level 20, he couldn't justify feeling one way or another about the whole ordeal. He was confident in his abilities to fight against mobs on higher floors, but also acknowledged he wasn't quite ready to participate in an actual floor boss battle. Not yet anyway. He thought about referring to such a predicament as being part of 'midlevel' status, but what purpose would it serve except to drive another wedge between members of the player population? In the end they were all still trapped and in their own ways most people were contributing toward their freedom. Or at the very least alleviating the troubles of others. Still, these were all just his thoughts on the matter. Sometimes it was better to leave things unsaid and as more passing players joined the scene, it was becoming too hectic for his comfort. He offered up a wave as Macradon had left once the girl fled and after a minor internal debate he decided to depart as well, making sure to say farewell to his fellow guild mate Beorson who remained behind for some reason. VolvoWing 0 Posted February 16, 2016 Author #23 Share Posted February 16, 2016 While the bickering was going on, Jason just continued walking away, as it appeared to seem as if no one decided to follow him. And as he continued walking, the bickering came quieter and he looked back and the party had decreased a bit in size. So glad to be out of there... Jason thought. Why did I have to start that??? Ugh... I'm always the one.... COMPLETE Each member recieves: 40 Col 1 SP
