[SP-F1] When I Hate Material Gathering But I Have To Porque A Certain Blonde Guy and People Isn't Donating Material

Shizuka sighed as she walked out of the starting town of the first floor. Indeed, it was going to be an effortless material gathering session with her material gathering instincts. She had some Vitamins that she could use to boost her chances of finding material and she hoped that she would be able to find many materials. Lately, no one has been at her shop and she honestly didn't care because her attitude would probably chase people off. However, she wanted to boost her alchemy skills so it would be easier for Shizuka to craft better potions and not slack off with her potion creation. Shizuka smirked... She wasn't going to be so stressed to get these materials as she would have lots and lots of different loot dice boosts. With yet another sigh, Shizuka walked out of the town and looked around.

Shizuka sighed as she looked around. She was unable to fight any boars for materials as she had no damage and instead, had to work very hard to gather materials one by one because no one was willing to give anything to the poor, broke girl. As a healer, Shizuka truly was at a disadvantage. In the distance, Shizuka could see a young boy working hard to gather materials and she felt pity and sympathy for the boy. Such a young age... Shizuka thought before turning around and going the opposite direction. My vitamins can only last so long... I need to focus, not pay attention to some random kid trying his hardest to become a good player.

Shizuka looked around with her looting advantage and prepared to [censored]ing [censored] any material that she could see in the distance. Honestly, she was expecting this material gathering session to be a simple, easy one because she had worked for quite a good deal of looting boosts and she was proud of it. However, she could definitely work harder and harder to achieve more and more and become one of the greatest healers in the world of Aincrad. It's going to be hard work... Definitely. But in the end, it will be worth it. Shizuka thought, picking up a berry from the ground.  How convenient. I guess the loot boost is working after all.

Indeed, she had full confidence that she would be able to find many materials with the use of her new loot luck boost. She was definitely sure of it and with a random look around, her suspicions were confirmed. It seemed like the task was going to be a very easy one and she didn't mind at all. Shizuka smiled as she picked up the random glowing wheat that was on the ground.

Shizuka walked further as she looked around once more. She was sure that with a few looks, she would be able to accumulate plenty of materials by noon time. She was sure that she could do it... Find plenty of materials and craft lots. Shizuka smirked in delight and with that, she looked around once more. With a smirk, Shizuka picked up yet another material. This time, it was a peach and she instantly picked it up and added it to her material inventory.

At the moment, there was just more than 50% chance that Shizuka would be able to find a material with every search attempt that she tries. Of course, this honestly could be better but it was a decent amount of chance that she would find a material compared to the usual 25% that she would get without her loot boosting. Shizuka smiled, knowing that this time, she had failed to find anything noteworthy and hence, she carried on. She was not to be bothered by frustration this time. In fact, she was taking it easy.

As she walked just a bit further so she can check if there were more materials for her to use, she looked around at the last moment. However, unluckily for Shizuka, there was an apple at the top of a tree. Indeed, it would be hard to obtain that apple. However, Shizuka was not someone who would give up on something that might seem difficult to obtain. Shizuka smirked, jumping up and grabbing it... Just barely making it hers. Another one. Shizuka thought. Quite successful so far. She realized.

Shizuka smirked as she saw a berry bush to the right side of her. Indeed, she was going to go ahead and pick off a few berries from it and even though there were many berries there, all of it counted only as one material for Shizuka. It wasn't like she minded anyway. She was definitely making progress from this. With this, she heard that a higher floor had some sort of material gathering benefit. One day, Shizuka will definitely check that out in order to gain materials easier and with more efficiency.

Shizuka's material gathering was definitely better than it was at the beginning of the game. Of course, this was only expected due to the fact that Shizuka had a decent amount of SP invested into her Search & Detect skill. If she wasn't having good luck with material gathering, there would definitely be some sort of mistake. Shizuka smirked as she took a fallen apple and added it into her collection of materials and with a smile, she moved on once more, almost succeeding with every single attempt that she tried.

She definitely did not expect the material gathering to be this easy even though she had an insane amount of loot dice enhancements. Good stuff. Luck + Boosts = Good stuff. Shizuka realized and with that, she looked around and picked up yet another material... a green apple this time which was conveniently placed on the ground for her to simply pick up and bring to her inventory.

Strange. was Shizuka's thoughts as she sniffed the air having sensed a weird sent in the sky. Naturally, Shizuka followed the strange scent in order to check out what was making such a smell. However, as she soon approached the area, she was surprised by the fact that it was a red apple that was making the smell. With a smile, Shizuka walked over and snatched it from the tree before realizing that the back was completely back. With a yelp of disgust, Shizuka tossed it onto the ground and moaned.

Indeed, this was truly the only floor that Shizuka had been on and well, Shizuka believed that this was definitely the safest and she didn't care that it was the lowest floor because Shizuka had gotten quite a good deal of materials from all this. With a sigh, Shizuka realized that the pond bay was filled with absolute nothingness.

Shizuka smiled. She had already collected more than ten materials. That should definitely be enough for two days of crafts and she probably won't even be able to craft everyday due to her laziness. Honestly, what she had right now was enough for the time period. However, there were still time for her vitamins to last so if she was to quit now, the vitamin boosts that she had would be put to waste and she certainly had no intention to do that. With a sigh, Shizuka looked away, knowing that she might as well head back now and see what is on the path as she returns to ensure that she isn't out here when night time comes.

Of course, there is nothing around here. Shizuka thought, unimpressed with the fact that the first floor had literally been looted clean by both useless players and starting players. Indeed, this really wasn't a surprise. However, there could be an occasional something that might perk Shizuka's interest and help her obtain another material. This time, it was an apple that had fallen into a ditch in the middle of the dirt road and without hesitation, Shizuka picked the decent apple up and added it to her collection.

Shizuka continued to walk with pace as she tried to make her way back to the safe zone. The night was already apporaching the world and if she doesn't reach the zone in time, there was absolute certainty that she might be endangered by some wild animals during the time that her eyes adapt to the light. If that indeed happened, things would not look good for Shizuka because of her lack of damage and lack of mitigation as well. Shizuka sighed in disappointment and continued to walk hurriedly, not bothering to look around.
