Aiden Royal 0 Posted March 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2014 I got to looking and I see Leveling options around, but I don't see the actually benefit of it. So I got to thinking, what about having a numerical value for each KEY stat. They would start small, and increase with each level. Some basics would be: Strength: Speed: Agility: Stamina: Intelligence: Luck: Each player would start with 15 points to distribute amongst the stats. For example: John.Doe Strength: 2 Speed: 3 Agility: 3 Stamina: 2 Intelligence: 3 Luck: 2 15/15 Now the stats would have benefits: Strength: 2 strength could allow the use of light equipment, 8 could allow the user to use Heavy Equipment. This stat would also effect Dice Rolls. Strength level / 2 = could be damage done per hit Speed and Agility: Would increase a characters chance of dodging an attack. This total number of Speed Agility / 4 = could be tacked on to a dodge roll. Stamina: this number would stat how much a character could fight/ run/ jog or other activities before getting Fatigued. Stamina * 3 = equal the number of posts, a character could fight before getting tired. And if pushed further would receive Debuffs. Intelligence: could be used for Crafting, learning skills, upgrading skills. Overall increase to character knowledge. Luck: could be a number / 3 = added on to your Loot Roll. Now all numbers and stats are debatable and can be changed and such. But I believe having an actual numbers to base characters off of would make it a little more interesting and a new spin on how they play out. Just my 2 cents. Let me know what you think. Apologize if this was put in wrong area.
