At 27, Sol’s life wasn’t what she expected. Recently divorced from her abusive husband, the young woman ran from her life in Dallas,Texas, and found herself studying in Japan as an apprentice in a French-styled bakery under the tutelage of a master patissier. Her life in Japan was a quiet one and most of her focus was spent upon her work. At the urging of her coworkers, she was told she needed a hobby to loosen up; and one suggested she take up playing RPG’s as she seemed to need more fantasy in her life. Deciding to accept this advice, she found herself picking up a Nervegear and preordered a copy of Sword Art Online.

Upon entering the game, she fell in love with the world, but was weary to head out into it. However, she’s decided she can no longer sit idly by while others do the work. Though she always wanted to be a rescued princess, Sol knows the only way to make it out of this fairy tale is by being her own hero and slaying her own dragons and demons with her two hands.

Virtues:

Curious- The world is wide and holds so much, and Sol wants to explore every bit of it. Her curious nature leads her into adventure and she jumps into things head first without much thought about it. She wants to experience as much as she can and immerse herself in the lush fantasy that SAO has to offer.  

Warm- Sol is a bit of a lovebug. Kind, gentle and with a rather sunny and playful disposition, she’s always finding herself in the center of attention though she does much to hide from the spotlight. Her natural light draws others to her .

Maternal- Sol’s loving ways leads to her taking care of others. She simply cannot help her desire to protect others, nor can she ignore anyone in need of care whether it’s physical or emotional. Because of her deep maternal instincts, she often finds herself involving herself in situations even if uninvited. Her big heart simply won’t allow others to suffer.

Flaws:

Introverted- Despite being a kind hearted and open person, Sol keeps mainly to herself. She isn’t anti-social or shy, she just prefers a solitary sort of life. Strong and independent, her stoic nature lends to the illusion that Sol is uncaring even though this is quite opposite the case. Once she opens up to someone they’ve made a friend for life, however, getting past her singular nature is a rather difficult thing to do.

Stubborn- Sol won’t be told what, how or when to do things. When the woman has made her mind up to do something, she will bulldoze her way through all obstacles even if her choice is incorrect. In fact, even if she is incorrect, it’d be unwise to tell her such as she won’t listen anyway and this advice would be met with her rather terrible temper.

Ill-Tempered- You wouldn’t like Sol when she’d mad. Her usual chipper demeanor fades away and you unleash the raging bitch beneath all the normal saccharine of Sol’s personality. Sol’s anger becomes too much for the young woman and she often tends to self harm in order to regain control of her emotions. It takes quite a bit to push her to these limits, however, once she’s reached her boiling point she’s even harder to talk down.
