Ethereal 0 Posted March 18, 2016 Author #21 Share Posted March 18, 2016 Ethereal was silent for a moment, recalling what he knew of this boss. "Right. There's gonna be four Guardians that should be easy enough to beat - low stats. So we'll use minimal energy AoE to get rid of them quickly and let us focus on the Banshee. She's got a nasty ability to ignore mitigation every now and again so we need to watch that.. She's a little harder to hit than other bosses too. We need to really lay into her with single-target stuns and max damage when she is; she should be easy enough to defeat as long as we make sure she can't attack us or smack us with that scream." The Knight would look back up at Mack, "I think I got that nailed.. Uh.. Let's keep moving them.." He gingerly holds out his torch to the darkness and begins making his way down the tunnel towards their enemies. Hopefully it shouldn't be too long now. Spoiler <Undead Guardian Zombies> is a Field Mini Boss and has the following statistics:Health: 40 HP Damage per Attack: 30+15 Damage Mitigation <Banshee> is a Field Boss and has the following statistics:Health: 250 HP +2 EvasionDamage per Attack: 60Banshee ignores armor mitigation on a natural roll of 9-10 -Banshee's Screech: On a natural roll of 10 she will add a scream to her attack that will paralyze all players present for 1 turn. Mack 0 Posted March 20, 2016 #22 Share Posted March 20, 2016 "Seems like a reasonable plan," Mack said after listening to Ethereal's plan for tackling the Banshee and Guardians. It sounded like a solid plan. Admittedly, when he had tried to tackle this quest previously with Tristan and Xion the three of them hadn't made it past the skeletal guardians. That had also been before the game's combat system had been rebalanced by Kayaba. Still, Mack didn't recall the Guardians having been all that scary in terms of their abilities when he had first faced them. Ethereal's plan sounded like the ideal and logical plan for wading right on through the quest in the most efficient manner. "Lead the way, I'm behind you. Which of us is supposed to attack first?"
